This was my puppy’s WORST haircut ever from this location and it was his birthday (as well as Mother’s Day). When I went to pick him up he was way too excited for me to check him. I paid for the cut and also tipped. When I got home when after he calmed down I noticed all the horrible mistakes, his stomach and chest area was completely gashed up and his ears were filthy. The shape of his head was lopsided ( I had to fixed the haircut after the haircut 🙄), but his stomach and ears was extremely unacceptable! I called back to make a complaint about the job by groomer Samantha, she said to bring him back and she’d fix it, since it was Mother’s Day I decided to arrange the next day to fix the corrections because I didn’t want to keep driving back and forth. I took him back and it doesn’t look any better (hence WHY I’m leaving a review). It feels deceptive for me to pay and tip and the groomer KNEW she had issues with the appointment and new she messed his cut up, for me to get home only to have to bring him back for mistakes that should have been corrected before they called me to pick him up. If I’m paying $130 for a bath and cut, my dog need to ACTUALLY have had a bath and a proper cut. I’ve been to this location before where I’ve paid for a bath and cut and could SMELL he didn’t have a bath but only a cut and they charged me for both. The deception is disgusting, I will not be returning.

Bait and switch. Called 15 minutes ahead of time to take our service dog to the self wash they have on site and lady stated it was open and no reservation needed as it is fcfs. That’s cool on our way now see ya soon we say to clerk. We arrive and clerk proceeds to tell us that the self groom station is not operational but she’d be happy to sell us a grooming package….. so we left and will not return. Such a prime example of bait and switch tactics to get us to spend more money. If I could give zero stars I would.

My 7 mo old Shih Tzu has not been the same since I picked him up from being groomed. I don't know wth happened to him. He was a normal playful sweet 7 month old pup when I dropped him off and by the time I got him home it's like night and day. He just lays and whines. Before he would jump around on the bed. Now you can't even coax him up to the bed. I believe he was mishandled,or dropped. Bob was his groomer. I tried to explain my concerns with this only being his second time groomed. He acted as though everything was irrelevant. I have 2 emails in about these issues with no response except the computer generated we will get back with you soon.

The young lady that clipped Sadie's nails, first time clipping, came out with battle wounds. She was so nice about it and we felt so bad. You all are always so nice and accommodating.

I will not take Hank anywhere else but to Ryley at Petco in Atascocita. He does not smile for anybody but Ryley, not even to me and I rescued him from the Baytown pound. She goes above and beyond to make sure he is taken care of on every spa day!

My dog was shaved down to the lowest. I'm so disappointed regarding this matter. My dog was upset, didn't eat for a day or go outside to use the bathroom. She was so cold even with a fleece on.

Have been using Petco for over 3 years. Today I was told my dog, would better off going somewhere else she can be be medicated. Not once in 3 years was told I told she was a problem. Where is the writeup? Or is it limited to one groomer's preference as to who they service and who they do not? My dog is not going back. I will pay my $110 to someone who is professional and will take better care of my dog.

And maybe it's me, but my dog is terrified when dropping him off. He is scared. I also noticed when bathing him at home , he doesn't like it either.

Sarai was very attentive and aware of Bailey's first visit to be groomed. She was gentle, calm and very thorough. Bailey looked wonderful and smelled great. We could also tell she felt amazing as her attitude was improved and she was more comfortable.

Cass did an amazing job on my Lexi! She went in looking like a tomboy who just came in from recess after tumbling around in the dirt wearing a dress, but came out a lady! 13/10 would recommend to anybody. Great job to the whole crew there!

Our experience was very positive. Gracie was beautifully groomed and seemed less stressed than she has ever been after a grooming. (She is pretty much always a nervous wreck!). I think her groomer too extra care with her and even snuggled her some. It was a very good experience!

Ashley was the BEST! This was my first time visiting this location due to no available bookings at the one across the street from my home. Russell and I were treated with respect and attention. All of my questions were answered and Russell looked very handsome and happy when I went to pick him up. Being that Russell is old (15 years) and blind from the left eye, Sarai, his groomer, was extremely careful, considerate, and caring. The staff in general made me feel welcome and comfortable leaving my Russell with them.

This score is for the actual grooming. Our groomer was great! Of course, as with anything, there is always room for improvement. We have three dogs, two boxers and one husky/chow mix. The two boxers receive the grooming salon easily. The husky, not so much. We have to bathe him ourselves. We used the do it yourself bathing station for him. The bathing station stalls that customers can use, need help. The tub wasn't cleaned from the last dog when we used it. Had to clean it ourselves.

I love how they were honest and helpful with Balto and the vet... I forgot my papers I needed and they had called the vet and got the information and then took him in the back and told me a time to come to pick him up... and then I came and paid and had to wait for him to get his nails trimmed and took care of some business in the store and that was that...

My dogs LOVE going to see Michelle at Petco. When I get their leash out they know exaclty where they are going and are so excited they run straight to the door. She is AMAZING!!!!!! Again another visit that exceeded my expectations!!!!!!!
