We stopped in one day for lunch and both of us had the brisket potato lunch special. The food was mid at best. Low quality “cheese” was probably the worst part. They definitely didn’t use real cheese. It seemed like some sort of cheese sauce that one would find on concession nachos. The ketchup is typical red colored corn syrup, so theres that.The staff were very kind and helpful. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. It’s unlikely that I’d ever go back. The quality of the food makes a large difference, and it just seemed low quality.

Their food and staff are always on point! Very accommodating and friendly. We love eating there as it’s a family friendly environment. I haven’t tried anything there I have not liked. Plus they serve the best desserts.Vegetarian options: They have great salads!Kid-friendliness: The walls are covered in art made by local children. When the walls are full they sell the art and donate it to a children’s charity.

The Owners are Amazing! The food, waitress, cook, they are amazing! The food is so good and its enough to put you in a Food Coma! You can order anything and it always amazing! I love how there are picture's of peoples kids drawing! The only problem is that due to my work schedule I don't get to eat their alot! Please people start supporting this place so they can go back to their hours past 3!

Listen here folks, hands down that best food around the area. From the DUKE to the Dirty Bird it’s all amazing! Always amazing service every time. Milkshakes puts baskin robbins to shame just saying. So y’all stop on in.

IMO, the Snack Shack had the best food in our area. Everything is always hot and delicious....... Highly recommend this place. Go and check it out. I promise, you won't be disappointed.

The snack shack in Hughes Springs Texas offers not just amazing food but Outstanding service , I am extremely proud and excited for the owner , she has worked in the restaurant business for many years and ventured out to start her own restaurant business and I think it's a winner .... They also just keep adding to the menu and eventually I believe that they will add more space for patrons to be able to come in and enjoy some great food and conversation !! The prices are great and affordable also !!
