No cashier to check people out. I was informed their registers were down and customers were forced to use self checkout. No thanks. I was told to leave if I didn’t like it by the employee. I carried my behind next door to Family Dollar/Dollar Tree. Much cleaner atmosphere and friendlier employees. Not the first time I’ve had an issue at this DG location. I won’t be back.

The lady I usually get checked out by is very kind. The isles are a bit cluttered, but I suspect that they're understaffed so that's excusable. They've been closed on and off for a week or two and I'm not sure why. They do have carts full of products in isles usually, which doesn't bother me too much, but it's annoying when I need something that is behind one. Overall it's nice, but if you don't like a bit of clutter please don't come here and then complain in the reviews.

Well well I went there once you know I was just a cast cuz it says Dollar General and everything was more than a dollar except for maybe some candies in balloons

They must be under new management because the store used to not be so unorganized I'd prefer to drive 2 doors down and go to the family Dollar, the service it's very friendly example .. I ask if they had scrubs (most dollar generals do when your in a punch) the lady replies there was some but I'd have to just dig in the clothes to find them, WHAT!?!?! No I didn't dig I simple left so I hope they spend a little more time organizing the store and get people excited about coming back

Boxes blocking the isles. Floors are filthy. Some shelves empty and others cluttered. Today is the first time I have been there in several months and it is worse than ever.

Always helpful employees - usually very clean store. Well stocked, with variety & choices from grocery to light duty hardware. Reasonable prices, comparable to other stores. I recommend this store for most any staple needed daily.

The manager, Melissa, is by far the best manager that Dollar General has had in many years. She is so friendly and does out of her way to make sure her customers are satisfied with their shopping experience.

The quality of this store just continues to decline. When you walk in it smells like mold and the floors look terrible. There are always boxes in the aisles. There is only one person checking, even when two are working. The line was almost to the back of the store (not exaggerating) and the checker had to get the manager out of the office to price check something. When the manager was done, she just went back into the office.

The stores aren't being kept clean anymore, aisles cluttered snd blocked. I don't blame the employees,....they do their best with what little help they have. Corporate needs to treat them better and step up already.

Store is almost always clean even though they have new stock in the isles. Very courteous and helpful employees. I prefer the Hughes Springs Dollar Store over Daingerfield Lone Star..

If you can make it to the Lone Star Dollar General then it’s well worth it. Hughes Springs Dollar General was nasty and smelled horrible!!! Almost turned around to take pictures!! Then they are not coupon friendly. They refused to let me use my coupons so I could get a better deal. Don’t shop at this dollar general unless you have to. Two more dollar stores within a 6-7 mile radius and well worth the drive..

Okay so today I went shopping at Dollar General in Hughes Springs well Kristi the store manager isn’t there anymore... Such a sweet person sucks that she is gone...Anyways I bought some stuff that was on sale I even made sure the tag was accurate as to what I got well I went to register and she didn’t even represent the sale.. I ask for the DM’s number and she said it was on the door outside.. So guess what? I called him... I always shop there and I’ll for sure never return. Such POOR service there now..... Pitiful!!!!!! I even told her that she needed to pull those tickets and she said whatever.....

We were greeted nicely. The floors were VERY nasty and the isles were crowded. Hard to find items. There was only ONE person working. Lots of stuff but hard to see.

This is a great place to go if you forgot something. Don't be fooled by the name, items are not always cheaper here. Sometimes it's worth paying a little more for an item of better quality. ( Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)

Well since Jennifer Walker works there now I’ll never be back...... Freakin rude!!!!! I know it’s not much but I spend about 300-400 a week there bc it’s convinent but if they wanna call that management then Dueces!!!! Kristi needs to come back.....DM never does anything to try and improve anything bc all he cares about is cutting their hrs so he will get a bigger pay check.. Pretty greedy sounding to me but it is only Dollar General.... Ugh!!!!! God forbid if you ask that woman for any help!!!!!

Average general dollar, checkout takes forever, twice I bought batteries from there and they were pretty much dead, but i guess its okay for your general needs

Dollar General in Line Star is an awesome store! For an older store, it has always been clean, organized very well and the staff has always been polite and helpful.

I like the Dollar General but this one is not very organized. Always stuff piled up in the way and not real clean. Need somebody to get in there and get it cleaned and organized.

Isles are always a mess. Staff is usually friendly. Having what you need in stock is touch and go, especially on weekends.

Same products as other Dollar General stores. Pretty unorganized though, makes it hard to find what you came for if the product is still in the box rather than on the shelf
