Honestly, I am so happy with my boarding experience here so far. I have a highly reactive Australian Shepherd, so I have to be very picky about where I board her. After calling a few places around here I gave A1 boarding a call and talked to her about my reactive dog and her needs. The owner was extremely receptive, patient, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with me to make it a great experience for everyone involved. We decided on doing a trial overnight stay for my dog and they made sure to text me videos and updates of my dog without me even asking for the videos! Any anxiety I had about my reactive dog not doing well during her stay was quickly eased by the amazing owner and her clear communication. Despite being very busy during the weekend of the trial run, she went above and beyond to make sure she personally stuck around to help my dog get settled and text me with updates. I've boarded my dog at a few places before and this was by far the best boarding experience I've ever had. When I picked my Australian Shepherd up, she was very clearly happy and not even remotely stressed. It's very clear they took great care of her and made sure she was always comfortable. I'm so glad that I found such a great boarding place for my reactive Aussie. The price was amazing, too! I would absolutely recommend this boarding place to any of my friends! Kristin was PHENOMENAL

They always communicate with me if anything if going on or seems different with my Pup when she is boarded with them. The staff know she is scared of big dogs with big barks (even though she is a German Shepherd) so they make sure she is kept away from them as much as possible. My pup knows the staff and is happy to see them! The prices and service are great! Highly recommend!!

I can not say enough wonderful things about this place, these folks are the BEST! My dogs are always happy to see them and they are happy and well cared for when I pick them up. The ladies are in constant communication with me and are very thorough. They contacted me as soon as they saw something amiss with one of my babies and took him to the doctor and gave him his medicine. He was good as new when I picked him up. They were bathed and smelled like the angels they are. I would recommend A1 to anyone and everyone!!

They went above and beyond to help us get a shot the vet forgot to give my dog. They stayed late to wait for us to go get the shot . They called everyday to talk about how the dogs were doing and if they ate and took their meds. Super nice people. Will use them again for sure.

These ladies are great! They do great work and are super patient with my wildly out of control pup.They all have good attitudes and seem to be having a good time everytime I see them. That means they're probably pretty good to your babies.

I love this place! Kristin takes such good care of our Bella. Most of the time, dogs don't want to go somewhere that they have bad memories of, however, our dog jumps out of the truck and greets Kristen every time. I know she is in good hands no matter how long we may be gone.I highly recommend A1 Dog Grooming & Boarding Kennels. Clean, dependable, caring.....etc.We will continue to take our fur kid there!!!

I have a high energy Aussie and she can be some what of a handful, but Kristin handled her so well! My dog was ready when she said she would be, and I didn't have to wait all day to pick her up. It was a pleasant experience for both myself and my dog. I highly recommend this groomer. I will be taking my dog there from now on. The prices are amazing too!

I left my 2 dogs here for about a week a year and a half ago while I went on vacation in Vietnam. Kristin also groomed my shaggier dog and I was very happy with both the kenneling and the grooming. My dogs were well taken care of, seemed to like Kristin, but were also very happy to see me again. This place is BUSY for being a small shop located in the country side and last I knew Kristin was booked 3 months in advanced for grooming, which is a good indication of how much customers like her professional abilities.Edit: A1 Dog Grooming & Boarding Kennels has also received a Texoma's Top 3 Award for their business since I last visited them and, in my opinion, it is completely deserved.

Do not take your fur baby to A1 kennel. We took are standard poodle there and he came down with kennel cough and now we are treating are babies. Very bad choice on our part. Never ever again!
