Update 2/2/24 - I spoke with the owner in detail of my experience. She responded very quickly within the same day, was able to address all of my concerns in total, and took the time and care to apologize for the cut as well as the treatment i received. She handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and kindness and for that i am very grateful. Although this was my individual experience, I am confident after speaking with the owner that others will not have the same experience! So although the cut still sucks I have changed my rating because of the care that was taken by the owner to address my experience! Thank you!***i have never had an issue at any woof gang location in houston (tanglewood or West U) or dallas until now, so going to keep this as short as I can and to the point. since they made it very clear they do not care because it is just hair!for reference I did attach his current cut and his 2 previous cuts he got in June (tanglewood location) and September (west U location) 2023 you can see a huge difference.my dogs groom was completely butchered (a cut we never discussed or agreed to) and they said it was because he was matted. have a 13 year old shih tzu and he likes to lay under things beds couches etc so i am familiar with matting and what all it entails and not once has he ever had to be completely shaved.went in we discussed what needed to be done and how I wanted him to look, the groomer mentioned there might be a matting fee asked her prior to doing anything to please call me about the matting and its pricing. never got a call but a text so I called and spoke with the groomer in which case I asked her to detail her definition on matting and what all needs to be done keep in mind she already started working on him without even discussing anything with me so if I wanted to say no and take him somewhere else it was already too late. if my dog was truly matted that was his only option and it was explained to me I wouldnt have had an issue when I can to pick him up. even if he did need to go completely bare as a groomer i still expect for him to look presentable/ decent and in this case he is not the cut is choppy and inconsistent. so when I brought this to the managers attention below are the responses and the treatment i received.1. management doesnt know how to deescalate/ let alone properly handle discrepancies and concerns with the services they provide. (the manager randy I believe told me I can get out or we can have a discussion - note I did not raise my voice curse and or berate him as a black women I always have tone police myself and when I asked about why he said I could get out he said it was because I was talking too fast so not aggressive not angry not disrespectful but too fast)2. when a concern was brought forward to management I received a completely insensitive response "it is just hair" "thank god this is the worse thing that has happened to your dog" not sure how he would know as I never in fact said this is the wporse thing that has happened to my dog, I said the worse cut he has ever received my dog will be 14 this year.3. there is no accountability when an issue is brought forward. I asked what was going to be done moving forward and he said nothing at all at first and when I made it very clear I am not asking for anything free let alone a refund he still brushed it off and said I cant do anything about it but I will talk to my groomer.I highly suggest you go where they truly value your pet and they are not just looked at as hair that can grow back and a dime to pocket.

Love this place! Customer service is great 👍 Be sure to ask for their add on products when getting your baby groomed. Griffin does a great job with our goldendoodle pup! She really takes care of her and makes sure the process is not too hard on our pup. They also have a lot of great products and treats for your furry friends!

I had a great experience! I called at the last minute to get Murphy in to be groomed. They were able to get him in within the hour. They were so wonderful with him! Murphy is mostly blind but they made him feel less anxious during his visit. The customer service was great, we will definitely be back! Thank you all so much, you’re wonderful!

I've taken my mini schnauzer to Woof Gang for grooming since the day we bought our new puppy home. Griffin has been our groomer of choice. She takes great care to not frighten our pup as we introduce her to the whole grooming process and has done baby steps. Our mini schnauzer loves going into Woof Gang. The staff is super friendly and caring, the store is absolutely adorable - like a dog boutique! Highly recommend!

Oh my gosh! Randy and Griffin took such good care of my baby. Randy gave her an extremely needed bath and Griffin made her a beautiful bow ! Couldn’t be happier bringing my dog here!

Brittany did a great job on my dog. I just moved here and it was my first time trying a new groomer for my pup. The cut was perfect and my dog seemed really happy and comfortable with the staff. The prices are reasonable and she also LOVED the cute little treats they sell.

Amazing place!! I’ve recommended this place like 10000 times! The groomer was amazing and came out to ask me exactly what I wanted and how I wanted my pups cut. She was very realistic and told me how it could be best and worst scenario.

I’m reviewing for the second time because I just love this place so much! My dog is usually a nervous wreck but he always leaves here in the best mood and looking AMAZING. I always request amber because my puppy loves her but I’m sure the other groomers are amazing as well. 💗💗💗

Amazing place!!! Took my pup (chihuahua 7 lbs) for a bath ($35 09/2023) his nails were trimmed very well, he was noticeably bathed, smelled amazing and was given a little scarf. The service included gland expression as well. Hands down the best place he's been to (took him to petco paid $65 and he was still dirty and nails were long)Woof Gang did an amazing job, thank you!

I’ve been bringing my pug here sinceI first got him almost a year ago in May about every two weeks. He absolutely loves coming here and We feel like family every time we walk in. He gets treated like a little celebrity and always comes out with an adorable little bandana which he proudly shows off. He always smells so wonderful and looks his coat is shiny and clean.
