I will start by saying this I buy a new car every couple of years, I have used a different dealer for my last 3 new trucks. This experience has been hands down the best experience that I have ever had buying a new car, Simon was amazing and the other staff made my 6 and 8 year old kids feel welcomed too which can be tough to do. I will say I have never had such a good test drive on two different cars and was able to put them through their paces to be able make an informed decision, Simon took his time and made sure I was getting the car I wanted without ever making me feel pressured to buy anything. With that said we walked out with a 2024 Forester Wilderness and my only regret is that I have not made the switch to Subaru sooner, thankfully West Houston made this my new favorite car and dealership. I have already told everyone that I can to come and be part of this amazing group, I actually am looking forward to my first service to our Subaru and taking the opportunity to tell everyone about our buying experience with Simon and the rest of the staff at West Houston Subaru. Update, here comes the bad. Just turned 8k miles after 4 months of ownership had to visit the dealership for service on the eyesight that is going on and off on its own, seems to be an issue with Subaru, make the appointment 9am on 5-1-24 only to be asked what am I going to do..? What do you mean I ask.? You need to leave the car with us all day, so what are you going to do.? Here is a clue not come back to this dealer for service, a heads up would have been great, took a day off work had no idea I needed to leave the car and if that was the case why the appointment.? Why not mention this during the first call to make the appointment.? Well won’t happen twice..!!!’

If you want to be treated with the absolute best service under the sun go to West Houston Subaru. I have been a Subaru owner for over a decade. I purchased my last three Subarus from another dealership, but during my process of looking for a Geyser Blue Outback Wilderness I magically ended up at West Houston Subaru. I purchased my fourth Subaru with Keith Fogt and he was absolutely the most kind and knowledgeable consultant I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Keith seriously got me the best deal on my new car, and he literally went above and beyond with the amazing customer service he provided during the sale and even after the sale. I seriously wish I would have come to West Houston Subaru for my first Subaru in 2013! Thank you again Keith!!!

I went to this dealership looking for an electric car. It was the second Subaru dealership in 2 hours I went to. The first dealer was a limited model and this was a premium model. West Houston preached family dealer and customer first introducing all the charity etc. They then gave me a monthly payment $175 month higher than the Subaru dealership I was at prior that day. They had a car that was $4,000 less, lesser model, etc and they were $175 month more. The sale person tried saying that they were giving me the straight numbers and unlike other dealers they will not hide numbers nor tell me after the fact that I would need more money down. Well today I closed on the deal with the other dealer on a higher level model for less money and less payment. I am not sharing this review because I am mad at them, I’m sharing it as a warning to customers shopping this dealership. They are not honest and will be real sympathetic and heart warming while they lie through their teeth. The new car manager stayed in the office the whole time and wouldn’t even come out. Really unprofessional. Just wanted to share. If looking at a Subaru please know you have better options.

We visited this place to close the purchase on a vehicle for one of our kids. My opinion is that they were sincere, honest and open about options, more importantly not pushy at all. In comparison to the other Subaru dealer nearby, these guys were by far a better choice and customer friendly.If you are in the market and want the name of my salesperson, direct message me. Had a wonderful experience here. Simon has been the best customer service/salesperson I’ve dealt with while purchasing a car. He goes above and beyond to help ensure you are cared for. I didn’t need him to be so good, but he was. The dealership itself seems very professional and they set a customer service tone, not a sales tone. My partner and I drove across town from Clear Lake and had a wonderful experience. Keith helped us get a perfect deal on a new Outback Wilderness, staying very late on a Thursday night to hammer out the details. I appreciated how personable he was, and the fact that he wrote everything down and showed us the actual numbers at every step of getting us the rate and payment we wanted. Me personally I hate dealerships. I call them stealerships. Car salesman are born from pits of organic waste next to fungus, mold, amoeba, and obligate parasites... Except for my salesman at West Houston subaru. It was amazing really. Not once did I get the urge to punch him right in the face or even curse him out! I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted and how much I was willing to spend. It took some negotiation but they did it for me.After years of buying from Nissan and Ford and having a poor experience every time, this was shocking.When you go ask for John Fitzgerald. That was my guy.

It was my first experience with West Houston Subaru and it was 5+ stars experience. This was my 3rd Subaru purchase. I tried several other Subaru dealerships around Houston that were close to The Woodlands and they didn't even come close to West Houston Subaru. So, I decided to take my business to some place else. In this case, it was the right decision to go to West Houston Subaru.I must give all the credits to Chris Louise. Chris was professional, responsive and care deeply about his customer needs and wants. In addition, he was fair and thoughtful during the entire transaction. Thank you, ChrisI bought a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Limited for my niece who had moved from DC to attend school in Houston. She loves the car as well as us. This was my first car buying experience and Steve W. made it such a positive one! From scheduling time to meet with Steve and test driving vehicles to discussing all the options and then meeting with Troy in finance, everything went so smoothly. We did our research on where to get our Subaru at Houston area and it turns out this dealership have a lot of good feedbacks with regards to service and good price.Although we lived more than an hour away, coming to this place doesn't disappoints us for the kind of service we get.We've been to other Subaru dealership but they're not as good as the service we get from here.The dealership is nice, clean, well maintained restrooms, coffee and snacks always available for customers.One thing I like about this dealership is they're helping the local community animal shelter.Good job West Houston Subaru!

First things first, as a dealership they are terrific and very trust worthy. With chip shortage still hovering around us, they don't overprice their cars by putting huge markups on their vehicles. I am transitioning to a WRX from a Forester and they also gave me a good price for the trade. Secondly but more importantly, the sales person was Errol Bancroft and he was amazing to say the least! Very professional, very flexible, easy to work with and he still continues to check on me and the new vehicle to ensure my transition has been good so far. I feel that the customers are not just a number our here but they actually care about their customers just like how the Subaru brand usually does. I strongly recommend this dealership especially after past experiences with other dealerships in the area. Quick and professional service!I took my Forester in for an oil change. I was met by Josh the service writer. He took my info quickly and told me it would be about an hour. He came and found me in the waiting area to let me know, complete with a picture, that my cabin filter needed replacing as well.I was in and out in an hour and well taken care of by Josh!

Ordered a 2023 BRZ back in August and Jonathan Rachal was very easy to work with! Customer service 5+ stars! Got updates about the progress of the order from VON (vehicle order number) to VIN (vehicle identification number). Car arrived two weeks ahead of original delivery date and was prepped and displayed in the shade until I picked it up. Easiest car purchase I have ever made.Simple straight forward deal. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother transaction. Finance department was a breeze. I think I showed up at around 1:00pm for my appointment and left the lot at 2:35pm. Have not experienced transaction times like that before with a car purchase.Well oiled sales department at West Houston Subaru! 😎👍

Battery is dead after one week replaced. Stuck on street at midnight. It happened the same last time when I brought my car to fix engine issues, also had to bring back after 1 week got fixed. Mechanic team even forgot to put the engine cover back. If my car isn’t still in guarantee time, definitely find an mechanic store somewhere else instead. Really tired, to be honest.

I recently gave a two star review on this dealership based on the thread below. Management has since reached out to me and gone above and beyond my expectations to resolve the issue. Well done! Review changed to 5 stars.I called the West Houston Subaru sales line expressing interest in renting a Subaru before buying one. The man that I spoke with did not speak English well and did not understand my question. At first their was a long silence, I thought I'd been disconnected. I repeated my question three times before he understood and transferred me to me to a very nice young lady who told me that "yes, we rent Subarus but only to service customers"... I again explained that I'm interested in buying a Forester, but wanted to rent one first to be sure. Again, I was told rentals were only for service customers and that I should maybe try Enterprise.The dealer rents Subarus. Why wouldn't they want to rent a car to a potential buyer? I think there's a failure to see the big picture here.

We were looking to buy a Honda Civic and boy am I glad that there was one available at West Houston Subaru. I hate going to car dealers - the hidden fees, the high pressure tricks, the waiting around… I would have gone with a no-haggle business model like Carvana or Carmax if the cars weren’t several $1,000s more expensive. Our salesperson, Timothy Tham, was honest, responsive, straightforward, and respectful of our time. Getting in and out with the car was fast. He also stayed approachable post-sale - helping get us the license plates, and fixing a crack in the windshield at no cost to us. Everything you would want a car dealership to be so - if they have a car you might want - check them out!
