Pretty big store with lots to choose from. Lines aren't too big which is good for quick trips. The shop is pretty large so it can take some time to find what your looking for.Not so good things:The staff are all pretty abrupt and some don't speak good English, which becomes a problem if you're trying to discuss warranty stuff. It is also annoying that almost everything I wanted to buy was locked up in a cabinet with no signs telling you how to get it. I ended up asking an employee who didn't know what to do, and then I found someone that finally told me. Apart from that, they are alright.

When I tell you Walmart is spinning the block I was in AAWWWW when those doors slide open Walmart is changing the game on how stores should look I was impressed with the flooring the lighting and over all appearance of the store I love the fact the had so many self check lanes great experience over all

A very negative experience at Walmart, located at 2391 S Wayside Dr, Houston, TX 77023. I arrived, waited for a passenger at the main entrance without obstructing traffic, but a security staff member, a woman, said parking was not allowed. I explained I wasn't parking but waiting for a passenger. She repeated that parking was prohibited. I tried to convince her that my stop was temporary and didn't disrupt other vehicles. In response, she rudely called me stupid. After addressing the supervisor, I received acknowledgment of the inappropriateness of such behavior but no apology. I consider such treatment of customers unacceptable. The incident occurred on November 30th at 4:45 PM.

Like every Walmart they experience is always great. Me and my uncle go to all these Walmarts will usually just the Walmarts in Florida but we've been making stops around the US and every Walmart so far has not let us down 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Walmart on Yale not trusted on pricing even told the employee of clearance item she told me to go take a photo and bring it back. Mind you managers and supervisors was on the same isles front facing. When I returned the original employee was gone who advised me to take the photo. Another supervisor came over and told me if it isn’t 3 items there they cannot give the BM(baby magic soap for price.) RIDICULOUS!! I didn’t argue or silently walked away without purchasing anything and went to TARGET got a better price and everything.No greetings at the door, establishments is very clean but a lot of items incorrect placements and not giving the price of the customer. I literally could go and take numerous photos of clearance items not being in the right stop or the same item same brand. When you go the baby isle it’s not stocked on size 6 diapers and that was a random walk thru as well as cat litter. Almost every time I go now no rotisserie chicken available other flavor is LEMON PEPPER. I could go on and on.

The staff of this location's Walmart is EXTREMELY unreliable, manner less, and unbelievably irresponsible!!! I went to the coin to the cash machine, and my coins got stuck. I asked one of the employees to help and she sent me to customer service, after reaching customer service, for at least 20-25 mins nobody came to help. I was not alone Another woman was waiting with me. And still after the staff came to help they asked me to call the coin machine company, and when I called the company they told me the customer service is supposed to help you. After almost one and a half hour, I was about to leave when a staff member opened the machine very rudely, and while talking on the phone threw the coins on the desktop so I could grab it. I honestly want to give it zero stars!!

Almost all the time when I use the customer service I usually get pretty good customer service but today it is the beginning of the day and I was the second customer this employee had and she just clocked in 8:23 am and she was pretty happy and in a good mood when her CM was walking along side of her and opening her cash register but the moment the CM walk away she got really rude and her facial demeanor changed and wasnot happy to be at her position she even cut me off before I even finished my sentence that's so sad to be a mean when you are so young what did we do to deserve this kind of service well I sure hope her day gets brighter 💜 God bless you in your troubles 🤗✝️🛐 thank goodness for the second cashier that help me out she was alright but to talkive to her dear peer😥 I guess Walmart pays employees for the service customer get. Way to go Walmart on S. Wayside 😤

They have improved since the day they opened. Store has a variety of items and it’s now more organized. I normally order online for curbside pick up and it’s very easy and fast service. I wouldn’t try to order during the weekend it could be longer waiting time compared to during the week. The only thing is that there is some weird people coming to this store.

Omg I didn't understand a word the door attendant was saying, and it got me to thinking, if this is America y come I'm b n forced to learn another language, & How Tf she filled out the dam application. Anyways I worked my way around the language barrier and continued on with my day.

Worst service. After waiting over 3 hours for my car to be service I was eventually told they only had 3 tires and not the four. Had they told me this at the beginning I would have gone some place else. They really need to keep track of their inventory and let the customer know upfront so we are not waiting over 3 hours just to be told they actually don’t have it in stock.

Amanda who is one of the leads here helped me to retrieve my misplaced groceries after I left them at a register. I left and came back and she was very gracious and helped me to replace the items. She was very understanding and compassionate. I really appreciate your help.

Parking lot can be crowded because they serve a lot of areas, but the store usually has what I need and doesn't feel as crowded inside. When I order for curbside, they rarely substitute, and the curbside staff is always prompt and friendly.

Ordered coffee machine received same day delivery, before the stated arrival time. Respectful of our property, communicated with us throughout the process. I am very pleased, and I love our coffee keurig machine.

Jesus take the wheel. This location reminds me of Walmart in the valley by the border. Keep your head on the swivel. You can't get out of the car before you are bombarded with people selling stuff. Workers are hiding and dodging you. The inventory online doesn't match what the store has. The worker told me the store has a high theft rate. However, I noticed in HBA the only high profile camera was in the African American product area... yet the store in almost all Hispanic. They should shut this location down. I am no longer doing business with them.

The lines are always extremely longer than usual. They’re always shorthand on staff. But thank heavens they finally upgraded their store. And made more interesting to going now! Than before hand was ridiculous and hell maddening. Seriously people gotten tired waiting in lines to be served!

Take before & after pictures.Had tire service in Auto department. The tire tech (either Jim or Isreal) did not put the wheel cap back on my rim. When I asked about it, Fransico (the greeter) stated he looked in the back and it wasn't in the shop. I insisted it must be. Then the tire tech came out. He Said he looked again and told then told me it must have been lost before I came to the store. I knew that wasn't true and showed a picture of what my rim looked like when I brought it in. I asked if caps had to be removed as a part of services performed and Fransico stated yes. Only after asking to speak to a manager about compensation for the lost piece was it "magically" found.Mistakes happen but its extremely frustrating for a store to skirt responsibility and blame the customer instead of taking ownership to rectify the situation.

Why does Walmart usually have one person in the customer service department? Line 10 long and one clerk in training working. Management where are you? Asked a clerk passing if he could get the manager over to assist. FINALLY, she came with additional help . Department should be monitored better to avoid poor service. Wayside store

I always try to go early in the morning. Usually I am able to find what I need. However, lately it seems they are either not restocking or out of anything. I needed a sweater for my son. It HAS to be navy blue (per school regulation) and they had none. Racks were empty. Or there were none his size. The times that I do go late in the day there are NEVER enough registers open. There are so many people waiting to check out. It's frustrating.

My partner and I spent our first Christmas together this year; we could not go all out since we were airbnb hopping around Texas, but we managed to make it our own. Thanks to Walmart of course!Not going to lie, the Christmas aisles were a mess but after 60 or so minutes (+- 23 seconds), we found what we needed.Merry (belated) Christmas y'all and have a blessed day

I was absolutely shocked at the amount of selection this store had. They had every type of cookie, crackers, meat, beans, bread, and it seemed everything else available! I really really was impressed. It’s a massive store. Also, the lady that checked me out was incredibly kind and was very personable with everyone she was checking out asking questions. I would reach customer service very highly! This was a fantastic experience while shopping at Walmart. If you’ve had bad experiences in other Houston area Walmarts, give this one a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Things were moving fast at this Walmart! It’s rare to be able to move at a brisk pace through one of these. I gather there are issues with loss prevention/theft, so I understand vigilance, but it’s worth mentioning that I - a white dude - was able to take a backpack with my own laptop and an Android phone and iOS device (all mine) into the store, back to electronics, and to the front without ever having to open the backpack to show its contents, get a receipt for its contents, none of the things I associate with vigilant Loss Prevention policies.So my experience of the store was great - I even (based on the reviews) made sure to check in with employees as I went in, went back and left, so as not to be hassled or stopped. No need, they said.So the choices are: their LP policies are being unfairly maligned, their LP policies are wildly, unpredictably inconsistent or they’re racially profiling aggressively enough that it can be observed just by looking at their Google Maps reviews.Curioser and curioser. If I read anything about them in the paper re: racial profiling I’ll obviously change my 4-star review to 1, but at least until then, my experience here was great! 👍🏻

I waited 10 minutes for someone to come unlock the jewelry case for me. I asked multiple associates for assistance, pressed the red button that Is supposed to bring someone over, and I waited for quite some time and I never got help. What's the point in even having a jewelry case? This always an issue at this Walmart.

30 minutes ago, my boyfriend and I went to this Walmart in order to try to find an air purifier. He ended up being directed to the most random aisles by employees who didn’t do their job well. He wasn’t able to find the air purifier he was looking for and we got in trouble for taking too long (my dad got angry at us).>:(Your employees need more training on knowing which aisles have specific items because if they had done a better job at helping my boyfriend find the air purifier he was looking for, he would’ve found it faster and we would not have gotten in trouble for taking so long, only to end up with nothing but wasted time.

This rating is for the WalMart on South Wayside, Houston, TX. The AFTERNOON staff is FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, and PLEASANT. They are CONSISTENTLY great. The morning staff are the OPPOSITE. I try my best to go in the afternoons. (grins)

Show manner to people it's not fair if a Employee screaming at the people of cousin that people people needn't learn What is a corporation and citizen of a people right?
