I’ve been coming here to Vicky’s occasionally to get some treats for Rawlie Riggs, my Australian Cattle Dog mix. Every time I’ve come to this store, I’m always positively greeted by the young man and women behind the front counter. I’ve met the owner Vicky the first time I walked in this store months ago and she’s very kind and has been helpful. In fact, all the employees are super nice, professional and knowledgeable.When I inquired about getting more information about possibly putting our puppy on a raw diet, I was referred to speak with Amber. She was extremely helpful and took the time to explain the raw diet process in detail. In our conversation I found out she has reptiles, specifically snakes. Which I’ve had as pets in the past (all colubrids) and it awesome she’s open in sharing her knowledge of them, as well. In addition, she has an Australian Cattle dog puppy, which helps when providing the best care for my puppy.I brought our puppy last month to get his nails trimmed, for the first time in several months, due to a bad experience at a local PetSmart which I have informed them what happened. I gave them a heads up about Rawlie being sensitive about his nails being trimmed on his front paws. They did a great job working with him.After talking with the ladies in Grooming, I felt more comfortable in bringing Rawlie in for a full grooming (bath, hair trim and nails). This past Sunday, we took our dog to Vicky’s Pet Depot to get fully groomed for the first time. Kaitlyn worked with him and did an amazing job. Although, Rawlie had to be coned and muzzled for his front paws to be trimmed…which was what I expected and was okay with. We discussed the possibility of this happening when we dropped him off as he’s sensitive in his front paws. I provided them as much information about Rawlie’s personality and behaviors. Like Amber, Kaitlyn has an Australian Cattle Dog mix. The knowledge and understanding of his breed helps.I don’t normally give a review, but felt this store deserves one. Customer service, knowledge of the industry and the level of professionalism demonstrated are all important. Please continue the great service you provide. I’ve made this my main store to get treats, food and other items for our Rawlie and will continue to bring him to get groomed on a monthly basis.

Caleb is awesome! And so is everyone else at Vicky's Pet Depot. We have been taking our Wheaten Terrier here to get groomed since she was a puppy, and have never been disappointed.

My nephew Mazi was groomed here by Caleb and it turned out amazing. His dad takes him here all of the time because the service is always great and friendly. Caleb always does a spectacular job and we look forward to seeing him every visit!

This place is a lifesaver when I run out of Greenie's. Theirs are cheaper than the ones at Randalls and Kroger. Really nice little place, and it's easy to pop in and out quickly with exactly what you need.

I took my little Maltese in for the first time to this place for his grooming. First of all the staff I spoke to was very rude, didn’t even smile to welcome us in. My baby had very minor matting under his armpits so her recommendation was to either shave him completely or for me to take him home brush him and bring him back another day for grooming!!!!! What is your job then???? Very disappointing.

Good local place overall. They carry most of the best brand dog foods. The front was very helpful. For my first time taking my dog there, it's hard for me to blindly trust someone to take care of my dog. The grooming place looks really packed when I was there to checked my dog in. Since my dog cannot talk to me, I could only rate based on what I saw. I saw too many dogs standing on the table, unattended and waiting. Too many dogs and groomers crammed in a tiny room. Not sure why, but maybe a bit too overbooked.

Walked into this store the other. Just a drop in while I was traveling through. One particular member of the staff was absolutely phenomenal. I was hoping to find some special items for my dog I was un able to locate. But did bump into miss. Amber. That encounter alone has convinced me to stop in every opportunity I can when I come through Texas. She walked me through a very stringent raw diet for my dog that sounded near unbelievable with its benefits and cost efficiency. I even double checked her claims and was surprised to see how incredibly accurate she was. And some how we stumbled onto snakes, she specialized in ball pythons and her knowledge on that topic alone seamed almost endless. I’ve been dancing with the idea of buying a snake for my son here at home, but have been really hesitant with my lack of knowledge. But after a short 10 minute conversation I feel like I could compete with the best of them. Again 5 stars, I have no idea where the managers were able to find such educated employees. But it was such a refreshing change of pace from the oh so common “I just took this job cause I needed one” type of employee. 5 star will be returning.

Grooming is great. My dog is very nervous about getting groomed or going to the vet but the groomer handles him with care. It is so appreciated. The prices are fair and we keep coming back year after year. We’ve had the same groomer all this time which should tell you a lot about the place. The people are so nice.

We have brought our Pom here a few times and got a great cut by a tall gentleman, but this time Dawna cut our dog and it was terrible. IV cut his hair better myself.We were charged extra because his hair was matted, but his hair wasn't. It's just very very thick, and he was dirty from a hike the previous day, hence our need for a wash and cut.IV been to dozens of Pom gatherings and iv never seen a cut this bad. We will not be back.

I used to go to another pet store to get my dogs the food. It is a special order since that store didn't carry it. In 2 opportunities that store failed to order the food and my dogs ran out of food. I stopped going to that store and started going to Vicky's. I'm so glad the ownership changed! Vicky has been excellent ordering the special food for my dogs and keeping few bags in store for me. Anything that I have needed, Vicky has been very diligent ordering it and letting me know when the order arrives. That is what I call a super customer service! Kudos to Vicky! I'm so glad she is the new owner!

Fantastic employee in the front (Dominic). grooming - very good experience. My dog was super excited to see me again and seemed very happy. She smells and looks wonderful.Janette did a great job. 😍They also have an awesome supply of all natural dog and cat treats/food. I got my girl two donuts and a happy birthday bone.-One negative comment: I did not order full grooming because my dog's breed doesn't do haircuts. I had already waited an hour and a half when I asked how much longer they expected it to be. Janette's co-worker told me standard answer of 3 to 4 hours without checking ticket. So I went ahead and left. I'm 20 minutes into my 30 minute drive home when I get a call to say that my dog was ready. Grrr.

I had forgotten that Caleb, the groomer, had suggested vet grooming bcs my dog is anxious.This happened about 6 months ago. I tookhim to the vet a week before making an app at Vicky's. The vet gave him 4 different pills and he was sedated. I received the confirmation from Pet Depot twice before the appointment. I was early but Caleb said he was not taking my dog, Emi. I explained to him that he was doubly sedated.When he asked the other groomers if they could do Emi there was silence. And Calebmockingly said "I guess that means no".In the end Caleb suggested Pet supplies where they took my dog at the same price and they were awfully nice. They said Emi was good. If the front office had ommunicated with the groomers and refused to make the app for Emi, nothing would have been as uncomfortable as seeing Caleb with a smirk in his face treating me like a teen when I am a 63 old woman.

Very happy with them. The mobile vet is helpful. The groomers are excellent. One of my dogs is very fussy about groomers. He usually lasts just 2 times or so and then he’s got an attitude (in his defense, he was once accidentally cut by a groomer). We’ve been there 5 times so far and still going great

Really nice locally owned pet store. Competitive prices on dog food with decent selections. In house grooming. Great parking and easy to get to.Update: Went today because they sent an email about mobile health clinic service. I needed to get an updated kennel cough vaccine and some flea medication for my dog. It's a great partnership for Patti's and made my life easier by not having to hassle with an appointment. Lots of people turned out. I was able to get my dog food, treats and his vaccine in under an hour. Really great service to the community!

I like this store and their product variety but booked a grooming service online and they called me to cancel with pretty much no alternative. Couple days after went in person, to look for availability, to be received by the most uninviting customer service person. She was rude and rushed me into making decisions. I decided to leave. The owner/manager looks kind but I'm not coming back for a while

I have been taking my maltipoo Lulu to Caleb on weekly basis for over 6 months now. She is an older dog, and it can be said, she has some odor issues. Thankfully for Caleb, this is no longer an issue. He does a beautiful job with her… So, besides her looking adorable, she gets to cuddle up with us again without us having to put a clothespin on our nose😹 all the groomers are really good, but Caleb is our guy!

Omg! My dog came back home looking like a brand new dog. She was groom very well and exactly how I wanted her groomed. Normally when you take a dog to get bathe and groomed they sometimes come back smelling of dog still…. Not with this place. My baby Bailey smelled so good and was super clean. I’m sure she felt like a new dog herself! Big Thanks to Patti and all of her employees for doing such a great job! I’ll definitely be back.

Great staff and very friendly. I have a very shy ad timid dog that doesn’t do well in big environments so I stay away from bigger chains but this store has a great selection of treats and was super helpful with explaining to me what to feed my dog. They remember her name and offer treats and I think that’s a really nice personal touch that you get shopping here. The prices are a bit high on certain items and I think that just comes with being a small store that would be my only complaint is I tend to order things like dog food or car food and liter online because I can’t afford to buy it in the store.

They didn't even blink at my bringing all 4 dogs at once! I wouldn't normally take all 4, but they were in desperate need! The staff of groomers are awesome! The dogs are clean and happy! The prices are reasonable as well! Highly recommend Patti's.... For toys, clothes, accessories, grooming, food ... All there! The young woman working the register was fantastic too!

Love this place! I went for the first time yesterday, and the customer service was top notch. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They even provided free samples of dog food and treats! I would definitely recommend visiting Vicky’s Pet Depot.

This place is amazing! My fur baby Cash always smells and looks his best when he leaves. He is a Labrador Retriever and I mix regular cleaning with a shave. At previous groomers he would arrive and leave anxious. The groomers here take their time and not only does he look perfect, he is so happy when I arrive! After our groom, we love to shop the various toys, food, and treats they offer. The customer service is exceptional and always recommend the best food for him. In fact, when it was time to change his food type due to age, they took the time to pick the right one for his needs. Top notch groomers and great, friendly customer service!!

My 10 year old beagle has had severe back problems in the past. I wanted to find a place that would be gentle and patient with her. I was very happy to find Patti’s Pet Depot. Caleb was the groomer and was very kind and helpful. I have no doubt my dog was treated with respect and kindness. I would recommend this place to anyone in a similar situation as well as anyone who likes giving business to nice people. Patti is a sweetheart as well ;)I will be back for life!
