I bought a nice self propelling battery mower at a different location of Home Depot. Took it out of the box, read the instructions, charged and installed two batteries, started it to hear an immediate tukking noise, shut it off, turned it on it's side and saw where the blade was impacting the deck sidewall. Boxed it back up and took it back to the store i bought it at. They told me their computer system was down nationwide and they couldn't do any returns or exchanges. Waited more than a few hours and tried to call both of the closest stores to me to see if their network was back up. No luck. Went to the Hillcroft store, which is a little further away, because my computer showed they had more of this model in stock. The assistant manager whose name was Vini was a great help, the network was still down but since the product i wanted to exchange was a store brand, he could exchange it, he even helped me look at the new one to make sure the mower blade spun freely. We will be back to this location.

I see the same person Almost every time I come in (other than the cashiers, he is one of the only employees that you will see). I think his name is either Jarred orJason (something with a J). He is always smiling and willing to help you regardless of how busy he seems. He is also one of the ONLY employees that seems to actually know what he is talking about and can make an real difference to customers.This is the ONE reason I go to this Home Depot and not Low's (which is much closer to me).

Everything was great inside the store. I was aggressively accosted THREE TIMES by illegal immigrants. Each one of the guys tried to shove me away from my cart trying to help me before I reached my vehicle. The last one followed me all the way to my vehicle. Beware!!!! Home Depot unfortunately needs to hire security guards for their parking lot.

Always a great store, very low stock on spray paints, which was the reason for my visit. Had to go elsewhere. This was my second Home Depot looking for spray paint, both were out. Hope they stock up soon! Ended going to Walmart , where, to my surprise had a very large selection and it was cheaper!

I’m located near this home depot and Ive always been treated very well until this occasion happened. I was trying to make a return through this worker named angel, he told me he couldn’t take my return so i went to the home depot web page and spoke to an agent who told me they could take my return as long as the associate asked for my ID. A few hours later i returned to home depot and the associate angel was still working and he once again rejected my return and when i tried to explain what the agent told me he was rude, ignorant, and tried to threaten to call the cops and kick me out of the store. I’ve made multiple returns here as i work in construction and i’ve always dealt with wonderful workers until this person who clearly lacks the ability to treat customers adequately tried to humiliate me and disregard my need as a loyal home depot customer. safe to say i won’t be returning to this location.

Same review at the Betlway post:The pipe cutting machine in plumbing has been out (by the word of the people who answer the phone)@ the beltway spot, and the Westbury location, since the freeze 2022... its now 2024...Also they told me at the hillcroft location "I've been working here a year and that thing has never worked"... WTH man !

Don't usually shop at this location as its not in an area of Houston I go too a lot. Store well stocked and neat. Not really busy for a monday compared to my local Home Depot. Shopped for parts for a new flag display for my store. Used Self service checkout and gone quickly. Would return for sure if in the area.

Poop covering all of the toilets pee on the floor, stop to ask the lady working in paint today on 1/18/24 at 10 am where the tape was and she is sitting down on a ladder in paint section having a conversation in Spanish and looks at me then continues talking to her friend.priceless. That’s what you get at Hillcroft. Oh and an old white day manager that makes sure her staff and guest are miserable too… they need to do undercover boss at this location. Absolutely horrible.

If I could give no stars I would went to in to get a simple shower faucet cartridge and it became an extra hour of my time and money wasted. Got to the plumbing section for faucet repair and saw the cartridge for less then it’s normal price but when I went to the cashier it was more then double the price on the website. After speaking with 3 associates and a manager I finally got it the price listed on the shelf and when I got to my truck didn’t realize it didn’t with any of the gaskets it was suppose to have but by that time I was so frustrated I just decided to go to Lowe’s instead

Don't come here or to any other Home Depot. They are all arranged to waste your time and inconvenience you. Why is the entrance as far as possible away from the exit? Why am I forced to exit from the registers directly out into the parking lot to walk in the rain? Because this place doesn't care about you in the slightest.

Bad customer service, the manager, Midred, can't rent you tools. She doesn't want you to tell her how to do her job, but her employees don't come to work on time. Terrible service.

this two women’s are so racist they told this part is wet like you trying to say that im a wet back and they didn’t returned it so i went to another homedepot and i didn’t have any problems to return the item so be careful with this two people and they are the manager so disappointed

Very disappointed my last purchase, I asked for help to carry 72 2x4 and the two men in the wooden area only brought me a ladder, the very friendly cashier asked for help for me but they refused, I only asked for help not that they did everything for me. sad

Had a terrible experience today. Went looking for a patio door. Initially, I expected to be attended but no one approached me to ask me if I needed help. Then I attempted to ask for price of installation. I asked an older man for an approximation at least but he knew nothing and he 'answered' my questions in a very rude manner. Employees seem to know nothing about the store's policies and they just sit around talking amongst themselves and doin nothing. There was only one guy who helped out and he answered my very simple question. All I wanted was basic information. Customer service is very bad here, beware.

This people here make my day bananas 🍌One employee pass close to me coughing like I was stealing something and he did it with the real intention to make my day bananas 🍌 and I am a old costumer anf I see people stealing and they don't do nothing about it. if you come here expect rudeness in this location starting from the office that judge the book for the cover, yes the office that they control the cameras.

When i was checking out with 8 different stuffs. At seft checkout, im done i put in my card. This lady came, ask about different stuffs, I told I know and I finish. She stopped my payment and said want to check. I let her check, NOTHING WRONG, all stuffs exactly. But she look at me and removed all of my scanned stuffs and told me. Do it one more time. I told her why. You waisted my time. Then she said: Fu.. you let do it. Everyone saw that. At 9:20 Am Oct10.

Terrible customer service.Bought some roofing supplies overnight and scheduled it for pickup the next morning.Arrived and parked in the curbside area, checked in using the app, then proceeded to sit for 45 minutes with no contact from store.When I went inside there were three women at the customer service counter, who are supposed to be aware of my arrival and checking a phone… They have no idea I am there.Another 20-30 minutes waiting for the slowest walking employee in Harris County, he arrives without the entire order, refuses to load in the back of the truck, disappears back inside.The apathy of these employees was staggering, I can only say none of them appeared to want to be there or to do their job? Why bother.

It must be very difficult to find good employees. I was treated like the plague for trying to purchase a power drill, but it's always the same. I try to give the majority of my business to the local hardware store when applicable.

This location stays busy, so I'll start with that. I'm not a fan of the wonky parking lot, but I can't fault them for that. I'm also not a fan of the narrower aisles. I'm not sure what it is about this location, but the aisles look and feel narrower compared to other locations.This fact wouldn't be a big deal IF there was a place for customers to leave carts of lumber and other large items. During a recent visit, an employee pushed her lumber cart around the store as if it was a shopping basket. Not only was it extremely tight moving down the aisles, but it made shopping difficult all together. When I went to the main aisle and looked around for a place to store carts, I didn't see one. Odd.Everything else is like any other The Home Depot: tons of aisle displays that customers have to maneuver through. It would be great if they could rework this layout.
