I encountered an issue with a significant purchase that could have easily turned into a frustrating ordeal. However, Miguel not only resolved my problem with ease but also demonstrated what going the extra mile for a customer really looks like.From the moment I brought my concern to his attention, Miguel was the epitome of professionalism and empathy. He listened attentively, acknowledged the inconvenience I was facing, and immediately began working on a solution. What I appreciated the most was his proactive approach—he didn't just fix the issue at hand; he anticipated potential setbacks and addressed them before they could become a problem.But Miguel didn't stop there. Understanding that I needed the items promptly and without further hassle, he arranged for expedited delivery to my home. I was pleasantly surprised when the delivery arrived earlier than expected, with everything in perfect condition. This gesture might seem small in the grand scheme of things, but for me, it made a world of difference.It's rare to encounter someone who not only takes pride in their work but also genuinely cares about the customer's experience. I have gone here on several occasions this past week. Mr. Scott was a great help assisting me with the ceiling fans. Ms. Rosa provided great customer service when picking up my online order, and the two cashier's at the self check out line were so helpful and nice. I cannot remember their names (apologies to them. I usually like to address people by their names.) I have always heard it's hard to get any assistance at Home Depot but I must say, I didn't have any of that experience.

Store always looks like a tornado went through it. Items on the floor. Prices at this location are always wrong so make sure to take a picture of the price tag. When I told the employee that the price was wrong while I was checking out she told me it was my job to take a pic of the price tag. Disgusting 🤮 never coming back and wouldn’t recommend.

Sad to say it about this store.. but it's very racist towards the other race.. They will lie to you about your order then have another associate act as if their the manager to back each other up. The lines is like waiting in prison.. and instead of pulling your order.. they asked do I want to cancel an order already paid for, so they don't have to pull it.

Hard to get help with large and out-of-reach items. I love Home Depot generally speaking, not much for Customer Assistance or God forbid we want to buy something on the top shelf.

Yesterday January 7th 2024 about 11:23am I had a concerning interaction with the police officer working security in the store that is closest to my house! (6810 Gulf Fwy, Houston, TX, 77087)I noticed a black Toyota Supra with no front license plate backed up to the fire exit doors, where it is clearly marked “Fire Exit Do Not Block”, so I took a picture and proceeded inside to shop to let someone know about the unsafe situation, when I entered your store, I saw a policeman, and thought, good he will help.Boy was I wrong, he said “yeah it’s my car”I asked him if he thought it was a good idea to block the fire exit and he said “yeah that’s where they told me to park” so I said “and you thought it was a good ideas to block a fire exit” and he raised his voice and said yeah, as I was walking away he raised his voice again, I was 20’ away and he said said loud enough I could hear “mind your business buddy!”I was shocked by the behavior from a police officer officially working as a security representative of Home Depot, and out of fear of retaliation from a police officer unhinged enough to say such a thing to a customer, when I was only trying to report an unsafe situation, a crime in fact, after his , I did not feel safe reporting This behavior to the store manager, For fear of retribution from the police officer. Because of this, I will not be shopping with Home Depot until I know this situation has been resolved.I am contacting Home Depot first and asking if this a policy that as company Home Depot has, to instruct police officers working in an official security Capacity to block fire exits, putting the life’s at risk of men, women and children?I wonder if this is because they’re worried about people leaving through the fire door stealing something, Sounds like profit over safety!

Currently standing in the wire cutting area for over 30 mins. You've got to do better. I've asked 4 people to call someone while most employees just walk right by without asking if you need help. Heard them call several times on the intercom and still nobody has come to assist. Italways like this

Was looking for a last minute Christmas tree for my mother in law and found one but it was one of two left that needed love.. Well we got offered a discount and all of a sudden an associate approached and told us they giving it to us for free!!! THANK YOU TO THEM... HAPPY HOLIDAYS⛄

Wanted to get a tool from locked tool area. Asked 2 differnt people 3 times. Calls were made, 1 person showed up to help 5 different people. Stood there for 20 mins of my hour lunch trying to spend 300$ no luck. Had to leave without tool or skip eating. I decided to eat. Also employees say there is very bad theft at this location making it necessary to lock everything up and keep a limited selection on hand. This location is closest to jobsite or id drive 45 minutes to the one by hotel near upper kirby.

I like this Home Depot located on the Gulf Freeway. Merchandise presentation is good with few out of stocks.They have a good selection of power tools and equipment. As a home do-it-yourselfer, I like their line of Behr Paints. The garden center has a nice selection of plants for landscaping.Store associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

I had one of the most amazing experiences in Home Depot. Today, Cynthia in tool rentals took my call and located the toolI needed and told me they were there. Upon arrival, she was very warm and welcoming and got me in and out in less than 15 minutes. She has been a team member for 4 years and in tool rental for one year.Thank you Cynthia for your service.

TERRIBLE customer service. I purchased a microwave. They told me it was out of stock to come in on Tuesday and it would be ready. Came back spent a whole hour trying to pick up my microwave at the customer service section. I was told it was not coming in. I asked if they could help me to see if other locations had it. They weren’t helpful at ALL.

Everything is locked up at this location making it inconvenient to shop. This is my least favorite Home Depot to shop. There are literally at least 50 people loitering in the parking lot looking for work. There are so many people there are even people with food carts selling food to the people standing around.

This store is small but closest to the campus. One lady's their always listening music when she's working and unhelpful, suggest me to buy something unnecessary, the other guy that works in that special spot ask me just put back cause I am not gonna use it. sometimes I can't find what I need inmediately. Their other staffs mostly welcom. A guy told me that he's feeling bad for assign him to work there cause its so messy for this location and people's around 😑/They also missing thr sign of il 19& 20:some customer service are horible

Really bad customer service from employee named Luchon. When I asked to speak with a manager, she lied to me saying SHE was a manager. When I insisted on speaking to her supervisor, the manager Juan confirmed she indeed was NOT a manager. Juan was was attentive when I explained my concerns. I can only hope he followed through and reviewed the cameras to verify my concerns with the employees under his supervision. This is unfortunate because their customer service had been greatly improving in the last few years.

Got all of my landscaping and flowers from this location. Everything was in stock and there was a cashier in the lawn department. So, I didn't have to walk through the entire store to check out.

This is my main home depot for all things work and home related. For the most part, the store is decent. Having curbside pickup or in-store pickup can be a total pain and take forever. It definitely hasn't saved me time than just getting the items myself.

I ALWAYS get good service at Home Depot. Unlike Lowe's (Gulfgate) the staff is always accommodating and cordial. I have STOPPED shopping at LOWE'S permanently! Home Depot seems to care about the customers.

Update: Yeah, I disagreed with the reviews of this location because I hadn't had a bad visit...until I did. I had a rather SIMPLE question. Noone could answer, so I waited 22 minutes for the woman who works that section. When I explained what I was trying to do, she said "I don't do DIY so I dunno what to tell ya."Hmmm. I DO do DIY all the time. All I needed was a Smsimple answer to the friggin' question. It was about SIZE/compatibility. Afterward, I went to Lowe's. Not only did they have more of what I originally needed, the manager of that section spent the last 20 minutes before closing teaching me a better approach and showing me other tools to but.---------I couldn't disagree more with some rather RUDE previous reviewers. There was plenty of staff on duty when we went and it was after 8pm.The young man that helped us was prompt, friendly, and funny. We got exactly what we needed quickly.

Don’t go here unless you want your home to have a roach infestation. I went to the tool department and rented a shampoo carpet cleaner for home. To my surprise when I got home to clean the carpet, I went to plug it in and a roach crawled out of the plug. I have a brand new baby and there’s no way I’m going to put that thing back into my car so I had to wait until, my husband was able to take it in his truck which was a couple days later After the return date. I called Home Depot and spoke to Juan to explain to him what happened and ask for my money back but he refused to make it right. Now we have to spend anywhere from $300 to $500 for a roach service to come out and clean our home from the bugs.
