We went yesterday to get dog food but also got pig ears, 4 chickens!! 1 rooster, 2 bales of Hay, a bag of chicken feed, meal worms. I'm excited. I hope the chickens are happy in their new coop. Update February 13th we got 4 eggs today!!

I had treated a philodendron in a way that didn’t suit it and it looked like it was at death’s door. Knowing that they would have both a product and words of advice, I went to see Chris and Ken. Equipped with Ken’s Potting Mix I cleaned away the old soil, found a few vital roots and repotted the plant starting over with new soil. The well drained Mix, rich with fresh nutrients, has already given the plant new growth. This philodendron will definitely be making it. This is one of countless times I’ve counted on the experts at Quality Feed. So glad they are around!

I've been frequenting this store since I was a very young child, being led by my grandparents (who had chickens). You can find all kinds of feeds, plants and animals here, along with the supplies and tools to care for them. They have lots of stuff for dogs too, including dewormer, flea meds, flea bath, collars and a lot more. It's not a pet store, but if you have working dogs you'll definitely find what you need.Ken and Brian are great guys with lots of experience and knowledge about all kinds of stuff. Ken specializes in bonzai too, which I think is so cool. He even has a special soil made for bonsai trees.If you haven't been, you should check it out. If you're looking to start a garden, start raising chickens, or farming definitely make this your first stop.

This place has everything and great service. I go for things for my dog. They sell supplies for livestock , and live chickens and bunnies. This is. the real thing not faux selling ambiance. The prices are reasonable and the staff is outstanding. This all inside the loop.Great advice popped in because with heat my dog getting hotspots. Immediately directed to a modestly priced solution to ease him. I can recommend without reserve. This is the best whether you need a bonsai tree, a designer Chicken or just dog food the first choice anywhere

I have made the mistake just enough times to realize that anytime I go to another feed store closer, I end up disappointed and ask myself why I didn't go to Quality Feed! They are always super helpful and well informed. They also take orders over the phone so you can request an Uber pick up! Choose Quality Feed, don't waste your time with the others. I promise you won't be disappointed, sent away because they don't carry a specific common item nor sell moldy old food - all of which I experienced when I tried to shop elsewhere.

Are you looking for "the Real Deal?" No need to keep scrolling: Quality Feed is heads and shoulders above ANY garden and livestock store you can find in the Lone Star State. Ken and Chris and their staff are so knowledgeable and friendly about the plants, fertilizer, livestock, feed, and care... You will step back in time once you turn into their driveway. I go here for our dog food you can get a 50lb bag of sports mix for like $30 can find that anywhere else.

He told me he was smarter than my vet and that rabbits dont need or eat hay and to only feed them pellets. When I questioned him he got very rude and condescending. Dont trust this place. He also told me it's okay to feed an adult rabbit unlimited Alfalfa Hay even though the manufacturers package says to only feed an adult rabbit a sprinkle as a treat as it has to much protein. Alfalfa is only for growing rabbits under 1 year old and nursing mother rabbits.The importance of hay cannot be overstated:• Hay keeps cecal flora in balance – it promotes a healthy gut• The repetitive, rapid chewing movement of eating hay helps maintain dental health• Hay provides a key component of nutritional needs• Hay helps prevent fur blockage (especially important for Angora and long-haired breeds)• Hay satisfies natural snacking and chewing urges• Hay encourages natural behaviors such as foraging and grazing, which may diminish boredom, increase activity, and provide a sense of security

I stopped by for some food for my birda. I also left with some great advice. 2 different employees offered assisitance when they saw me looking around, they were polite and knowlegable. I ended up talking to Ken, one of the owners, who probably saved my bird's life. Highly reccomend! Thanks Ken!

Great place, I go for my bird Seed's and cut corn. Plenty of parking and Plenty of items to look at. They sell Bird's, Chickens and a few other small animals. They have item's for gardening and Pest control items.. Employees are nice and helpful..

The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The history of this place is awesome. I live family ran establishments. They have everything you could need, and you can buy in special quantities unlike chain feed stores. They have live animals every time i go, and they're super clean and healthy, and ridiculously well priced. I make a point to stop over for my poultry and livestock needs now everytime i make a trip to to the wildlife center nearby.

This place is one of the best and oldest feed/ plant/ tree/ animal stores around. We drive over an hour to go here at least every other month, because they carry a nice selection of Texas grown organic/ natural feeds and a nice selection of chicks. These folks have owned this place for a long time are very knowledgeable on all the items they sell and have answered many of our questions. The workers there are also very helpful and seem to stick around for years. All I can guess are that the owners treat them right; you don't see that at any other feed stores. Great job guys, hope to see y'all again soon

Absolutely the worse retail service I've ever experienced. The 2 gentleman that own this store are the most rudest people I have ever incountered. They do not know how to to be nice and answer a simple question with out giving u a attitude. They have been rude every single time I have gone in there. It's a shame they r doing this to such such a old feed store that's been around for ages and was always nice and helpful when the previous people ran it.
