Excellent staff! The place is well maintained and clean. Their grooming services are great, as well. It is nice to be able to have play time, before they groom our dog The animals are all well supervised. All the folks that work here seem to be a tight knit family of people who care about animals. I can't ask for much more!

I brought my dog Luna here a lot over the summer and they always created a positive and happy environment for her. Especially for daycare and I will continue to bring her here when I can. She also boarded here and they treated her amazingly and kept me updated on her.

We only use Preppy Pets for our little Bella, our Pomeranian. She.loves going there. Just spent 9 days there during our cruise. The best care ever. Angela is the best for grooming her and she looked great when we picked her up. After using them for years only had one problem when someone else groomed her which we were completely satisfied after problem fixed. We would never leave her if not completely happy with them.

Great doggy daycare to go too. I do not live in the area any longer but when I come out to this area, I bring my dog Fancy here. I have been coming here for years and every time I drop Fancy off I am greeted with a smile. That there goes a long way. So, if anyone is in need of a dog sitter, I highly recommend Preppy Pet!! Last, they bathe Fancy and do a superb job compared to a mobile groomer .Thank you very much Preppy Pet staff for the care you give to Fancy.--Fancy's Daddy

First, Oakley randomly goes to this place when I am out of town. This is a top notch place that really loves your animals. Whether it is daycare or overnight stay; this is the only place you should use. Yesterday was the first day I used their grooming service. They are amazing and were able to trim locations that are difficult. Please note my dog is an older grumpy dog that is set in his ways and doesn’t like to be handled. He is very difficult to groom. These awesome people did more than any previous grooming facility has ever done. With that being said, I highly recommend them for grooming, daycare or overnight stays.

Can’t say enough good things about Preppy Pet. My fur babies have been boarded several times a year since the day they opened. They have also been in daycare. They all love Preppy Pet and all the employees that take excellent care of them. I take my fur babies to Preppy Pet because I fully trust them and know my babies are loved like family.

I did not have a good experience and thus will never bring my pet back to this establishment. I left my dog for 6 day here. When I picked him up he smelled like urine and had a bruise under his eye. I inquired what happened to my dog and was told whatever it was he probably did it to himself or it’s a summer rash. In all of his 11 years he never had a rash until I left him here. I’m very disappointed within the service here.

I’ve know the mgr and some associates from 2018. This is a wonderful establishment and the associates take pride in their job and taking care of the dogs and cats. Friendly atmosphere.

Awesome pet care facility!!! I was nervous to leave my dogs in boarding for the first time but this place was so great to them. They provided daily updates on their facebook pages with pictures and videos so I could check on how they were doing while I was away. I could tell they really got to my dogs personalities and habits. Our puppy LOVED daycare and had an absolute blast. I plan on taking him back again for more socialization. My older dogs opted for their "teachers pet" program to stay in the main office since they weren't interested in playtime but still wanted hands on attention. We will definitely be back.

My sweet Nixie was boarded there for 5 days and while I was away the staff made sure I was kept up to date via videos of doggie daycare! The prices are fair and the manager clearly loves her work, she is very accomodating to both humans and animals!

I've been bringing my fur babies here for years. They love preppy pet and so do I. It's our one stop shop for boarding, grooming and play time. Employees and management are all friendly and really show they care. I refer all my friends and family here for their pet care needs. 😻

I would usually give them 5 stars but today was different. I called to schedule a 3 minute nail trim while I waited for my boston terrrier. The lady on the phone was rude and would not even consider fitting me in next Tues or Wed but told me to wait til Friday. I live 45 min away from them now and only work near, so coming in on Friday is not an option on a day off. Anyway, even though I moved a year ago I continued to use them. Not any longer, sad. I've been a customer for 17 years.Update: The Owner called me promptly after this review. She could not have apologized enough for this incident. She was concerned how this could have happened and said that there should have been no probelm fitting Poppie on the schedule that day. Overall I've been VERY pleased Preppy Pet and believe the owner goes above and beyond in customer service...and Poppie loves doggy daycare too.

The manager at Preppy Pets Roxanna was a complete disappointment throughout my experience. Her lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction were evident at every turn. Communication was consistently poor, with delayed responses and a lack of clear information. When attempting to address my concerns, the manager's dismissive attitude and unwillingness to listen were frustratingly apparent. It's clear that this manager is not suited for their role, and their unprofessional behavior reflects poorly on the entire establishment. If you're looking for competent and caring management for your pet's boarding and grooming needs, I would strongly recommend seeking an alternative.Your response to my review is as laughable as it is infuriating. Accusing me of being a "scorned sibling" on some imaginary revenge quest is an insult to anyone's intelligence. I have neither the time nor inclination for such childish vendettas.My review was a factual account of the appalling service I experienced at your establishment. It's astonishing to see you resort to personal attacks instead of addressing the legitimate concerns raised in my review. You can try to divert attention all you want, but the truth remains glaringly evident.If you're genuinely interested in salvaging your reputation and improving your business, it's high time you dropped the snark and arrogance and took some real action. Customers deserve better, and it's time you realized that.

Our dog was skunked and we tried to wash it out but learned that we should have just left her stinky until she could get to Preppy Pet because water locks in the skunk spray oil. Even with that misstep, they were able to get away much of the smell. You can still smell her when she is nearby, but she is tolerable even then! When she first got sprayed we could hardly stand to be in the same house as her, let alone the same room. If it ever happens again, we will come right back!

Ever since my first experience boarding Nieko at pet smart and they hurt my dog, God led me to you and i have never been so relaxed knowing my babies are ok under your care My new baby Cairo loves it there, he cant wait to be there each day, he literally drags me to the garage to go to daycare, thank you

Not a place for your Cat, or any other high energy furry friends.We scheduled an appointment to board our tabby cat weeks in advance before getting on the road for a family trip. In the description we described him as being temperamental as your typical cat that doesn't mess with strangers. On the day that he was to be boarded he was turned away by the owner Roxanna who proceeded to tell my wife that they don't typically take cats. They only have room for five and they currently had two boarded. Then why not take ours as scheduled. Similar to her replies to these other one star reviews here, she just made excuses and had a lot to say that didn't add up to anything.If they don't board cats they should not be offering to do so especially if they have inexperienced staff. If I could give them a zero I would for this poor unprofessional horrible service especially because we were getting on the road now I have to find a new boarding for my furry friend in a hurry.If you're a cat owner that needs to get your pet boarded don't go here.Luckily we found a place that was more competent and experience close by. Unfortunately preppy pet was not it.

My mini golden doodle LOVES preppy pet daycare! When we pull into their parking lot, she squirms with excitement and can’t wait to get inside. Preppy Pet posts videos on their facebook page and I get to watch clips of my dog playing. I can see how much fun she has and I understand why she gets so excited to go there. The employees are so nice and friendly!

terrible service nasty and stank environment wouldn’t take a roach here to be serviced. the employee are lazy and unprofessional management is even worse i don’t understand how people can run such a low down establishment. would give them zero stars but the best i can do is one. save your money and your animals from being serviced here asap. to the owner calling me fake, very much not fake i’ve been to your establishment several time every time i’m welcome with a nasty odor that somehow is different each time i enter your management is rude never there and the employees are lost the reason your so short staff is u treat the employees like the animals you take care of, if this career isn’t working for u quit n do everybody a favor, and seem like you can’t take a hard critique maybe instead of jus calling my comment “fake” u should grow and learn from it. I stand on everything i said i wouldn’t dare insult a roach to be brought in such a negative n shameless environment nor any animal of any sorts and i wouldn’t dare come back you have a lovely day

Would be great to have on the website that the pet has to be spayed, hard to believe .very female dog that comes to the company is.5/24 after a misunderstanding about boarding Preppy Pets did reach out to me about boarding my fur baby and I must say I am pleased with the ending results I was able to go out of town an feel my baby was in perfect hands. The prices were great and the staff is really sweet and i feel they genuinely cared about my baby. Thank you all for the great service I will be bringing her back.

This place turned me down because my dogs are too big. Didn’t even try to help by doing separate rooms or anything. I gave them no information except their size which is 70lbs, 50, and 40…. Im sorry but I don’t know how they run a business if they just call and say no. I requested their largest room and she said, our rooms arnt even that big there is a nicer place outside the neighborhood. Well i think everyone should take that to heart and go somewhere else. If your staff thinks it isn’t big or somewhere is nicer so should we.

I boarded my bunny rabbit for about 7 days and they did a great job! They gave her a bath and cute toys to play with. Very affordable pricing. I definitely will be using them again.

Don’t go there!! My dog was a healthy well behaved dog. I took my dog to my vet two days before we planned to leave our pet at their kennel for a three day stay to make sure she had everything she did it before the stay. My dog was in perfect health! After the second night I received a call from preppy pets saying she was very sick and the were going to give her some medicine, I told them to proceed. An hour later I received a call from the kennel again saying that she needed to go to the vet. I told them no I would leave to pick her up. When I arrived they said she was sick to her stomach and they didn’t know what had happened. But with that said they groomed her and sent us on our way. Why did they groom her? I took my dog to the vet and after two very costly visits,the vet told us it was a bacterial infection due to unsanitary conditions! By the way Preppy Pets never called to follow up on the health of my dog! Real animal lovers?????

Preppy Pet NW Houston is a great place to board your dogs. I worked there and the staff does a great job taking care of the dogs. They go above and beyond what their expected to make sure the dogs, cats are comfortable. The daycare is fun and the dogs love it. The bathers do an amazing job bathing the dogs. They even take pictures of some of the dogs while their getting bathed. The groomer does an excellent job grooming. I recommend boarding your animals here because all the employees are caring, and professional. Great Place.

The people who work here are amazing! From the service manager to the kennel staff! They really pay attention to the animals and their temperament while being boarded! My dog might not be alive if it weren't for their attentiveness in noticing that he had something more going on than his usual separation anxiety. Without a doubt they went above and beyond for all 3 of my dogs, but especially for my Ike and made sure to get him the care he needed!
