I have two very finicky cats. When I came to this store I asked for an expert on cats. Thank goodness for a manager named Lilly. The store was not busy at the time I went in, and Lilly was able to help me for about 30 minutes. She has 4 cats and she was a wealth of information. She told me all the tips she had with her cats and what worked for her. From cat litter, to cat boxes, trying to keep their weight down, on a “slow feeder,” and even their treats. If you need help for your cats, ask for Lilly….you won’t be disappointed.

If you happened to get the wrong order of a bag of dog food and 12 cans of wet food delivered to you today (3/4/2024), I have your cat food and guinea pig toy. Please donate the dog food to one of the many local foster groups please, since my dogs won’t see it.Terrible experience. I placed an appx $140 order of dog food to be delivered. I can’t make it to the store because I have an infusion I have to do which leaves me unable to drive or function after. A store employee (not DoorDash) taped the wrong invoices on 2 orders. These suckers are taped on there good and don’t just fall off, and I’ve never had an issue prior. The initial store employee was standoffish when I called and told me to call DoorDash before I could even finish a sentence. DoorDash initiated a refund and told me I needed to call the store to coordinate a re-delivery. I called the store back, same rude employee. She passed me to the manager who was equally abrasive. Look, people make errors all the time. It happens. Not these PetSmart employees, according to the manager. Somehow it was all DoorDash’s fault. Being apologetic and taking accountability when the distinct possibility exists that your employee (or you!) made the error is good customer service…and being a good human in general. She refused to do anything or be helpful in any way. All I wanted was my stuff to be re-delivered and for this other person (who had also called the store) to get their items…I didn’t care about the refund. I just wanted my dog food and DoorDash told me I could coordinate that with the store manager. Nope. Manager said she’d call DoorDash and didn’t.I called PetSmart Customer Care. While they were more empathetic, I still don’t have my $140 worth of dog food, their bin is empty, and I’m now an hour and a half late for my infusion. I don’t care about a $35 gift card, I don’t even care about a refund; throwing money at things as a platitude doesn't make poor attitudes better or the situation right. And given the other person’s cat food I received, their cat isn’t well. We obviously live within a few miles radius of each other and the store. The store and DoorDash both know who we are and have our addresses. Just dispatch out a Dasher and make the swap. If you’re that dissatisfied with your job or yourself that you immediately have to go on the defense and take a nasty tone, maybe you need to take a look at yourself and where you need to improve and do better in your life. Don’t take your misery out on others, when they are simply trying to find a straightforward solution to the problem you/your employee(s) created. I’ve worked retail, I can sympathize, but I never treated or spoke to customers like that, even on my worst days.I shouldn’t shop here to begin with given PetSmart’s track record on their treatment of small animals/birds, so shame on me for going for the convenient big box option to begin with. I’ll be switching to Pet Supplies Plus, which is locally owned, or Chewy going forward. Now to figure out what I’m going to feed my German Shepherds tonight… I’ll probably make them a regular DoorDash order from a restaurant!

I was picking up some spray for my dogs and looking like they were chosen who they want to wait on I been in management 45+ years seen it all but it’s ok I’am very patient so you always can outwit him people like that they need to be careful because I could be that wrong person that know some owners that don’t tolerate members like that have a great day petsmart

I go over to this petsmart 4 times a week to just walk around and everyone is super nice. My kids have named 6 hamsters and 2 Guinea pigs. This snake though is so pretty. It is still there and ready for adoption.

I bring our little one here very often the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. And the grooming salon has friendly and skilled groomers. They remembered Nebula by name at the 2nd visit.Update: We still bring Nebula here to get groomed. Spencer is wonderful with her and she loves coming to see Spencer. Everyone here is friendly and they truly care about your pet.

I have given Petsmarts grooming more than one chance. However, for the price, the quality of grooming is sub-par. They left long hairs, her ears are uneven and still unclean. I went back to ask them to fix her ears and they tried. ...I will not be returning. For $87 my puppy should look brand new.

This is our go to place for stocking supplies for our doggo Simba! We have been going there since Simba was a little puppy. Their dog training sessions are amazing. We enrolled in their beginner to advanced program and it really helped our dog focus his energy into learning and training. Ethan their trainer is so patient and is so good at his work. Highly recommend. Apart from the trainings, we also love their grooming services. Simba always gets groomed every year before Christmas! Everyone is just so friendly and welcoming. Happy we have one close by!

This store is new and animal rescue friendly! There are cats available for adoption all the time and dogs there on some Saturdays from Friends of League City animal shelter. Adopt don't buy while homeless pets die!

I have taken my dog here once for the grooming salon to get a bath and brush/nail trim etc. First time was a great experience! Took her back again for the same service and was very disappointed. When i picked her up she didn’t even smell good, she smelt musty like and she was still damp so they didn’t even blow dry her all the way. Her nails were barely trimmed which i was also disappointed with since her nails were fairly long and was in need of a good trim. Wasn’t expecting the second time around to be this bad since i had a great experience the first time. I will not be bringing her back because it’s a waste of money to not even get the complete service done.

Tried their grooming today for the first time. Super friendly staff and worked us in within 30 min. Which was great. They seemed super busy. Took 2-1/2 hours - but no problem. The reason not 4 or 5 stars is my dog’s ears were still dirty. Like, maybe, forgot or skipped accidentally. Never had problem like this with other groomer. Don’t think we will be going back here, unfortunately.

The condition of the betta fish is absolutely DEPLORABLE. I don’t feel joy looking at these fish in CUPS. They are living beings and deserve the best life possible. I saw a few of them in there that had swollen bellies and just looked in bad condition overall. @petsmart please stop the sale of these beautiful fish if you can’t maintain their proper care until they find forever homes. Some of those bettas are priced at TWENTY DOLLARS!!!! if you’re gonna make profit off of them, at least take care of them!!

Everytime I come to this store the staff really make sure to make your visit special. I prefer this store more than any other. You walk in and they great you and your prey with a smile. They will not hesitate to stop and help you at any time and they make sure you feel welcome while doing so! This store in particular deserves more than 5 stars! I would travel an hour just to come to this one store! They are great!

Placed an online order. Staff was ready to retrieve it when I arrived. They did it quickly and completed my transaction in minutes.The store was spacious and clean. The aisles we're much better organized than other PetSmart locations I've been to before. This location is a little out of the way for me but I would drive the extra time for this store.

The store personnel is always friendly and quick to deliver my order curbside. The problem is the app. There is no "I'm Here" button on my app, so I always have to call the store. It works, but it's a pain. But the store personnel are great.

This is the best pets store I’ve been to. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Unlike the other Petsmart in the area they actually take the time to help you out with all your needs. The dog trainer AT Is extremely helpful with all my pups needs. I’m taking another class here. Everyone is so helpful and I get a great experience. The store is very clean and they will help you get low prices and help you with food details with your dogs food. I even started buying fish here because they seem very healthy and the tanks are very clean. I adopted my new puppy and they even gave me a half hour free Private training. If you got a new dog this is where you need to come.

First time taking our dog to be groomed at this location. Zac did an awesome job and our dog looked great. I use to go to the Fairmont location but they always did something wrong or I'd have to go back. Will definitely be returning to this location.

The groomers here are the best! Very friendly and caring towards the dogs, no matter the dog’s temperament. They know all the dogs by name and treat them like their own. They were so nice to my girlfriend’s springer spaniel that we always go to them.

This review is mostly about the the grooming section because I think it's important if you're planning on taking your dog there. This is the only place I used to go (for food, treats and grooming) when I got my dog 3 years ago. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable and the training classes were excellent. The grooming was also great service. After about a year I started noticing that my JRT would come from grooming in a zombie like state for at least the next 24 hours. She would sleep and sleep and sleep and just seemed so lethargic. One day she didn't even wake up to eat dinner. I asked if they gave her anything and they denied it but I don't believe it. I kept going because she would always seem happy to go and I felt they did a good job. But she kept coming back so listless and sleepy. Then 2 things happened that were the last straw. The first is that they started pushing tips too heavily, in my opinion. It was always awkward because I tipped already but now it was being shoved down my throat. The other thing that happened was that it started seeming impossible to get an appointment. They were always 'booked up' (even though they never looked it).As for the rest of the store, it grew increasingly difficult to get any help form someone who was knowledgeable and actually cared. I took my business to Petco and have been very happy since then.

Grooming took almost twice the usual time (instead of 2 hours, it took 4). However, my dog looked AMAZING when I picked her up. Not enough clothing, everything was Halloween, but found a really cute new collar. Staff was extremely polite, and professional.

We took our YorkiePoo here to be groomed yesterday. Upon picking him up, his hair was cut uneven and the groomer informed us she accidentally clipped one of his nails too short, causing it to bleed. She left this detail out until AFTER we paid. He is now limping and appears to be in pain. Do your pet a favor and take them elsewhere.

Love this store Miranda is a doll. Gave me amazing tips to help with my dogs separation anxiety. I’m glad y’all found someone as useful as she is. The only issue I had with my visit was the lack of other employees. Not sure if it’s because the location, but she was the only person I saw working my visit here. I had to cut our conversation short because 3 other customers needed help.
