Pretty large Pet Smart. A bit old and funky smelling but that may be due to all the dogs and the clean up required from dog accidents good supply of cat trees. They have the solid trees with carpet as well as the trees that require assembly. More dog products that cat products. Nice area for dog training.

Stayed in Houston for the weekend and had to leave my boy here overnight. Reserving, check-in, and checkout were smooth. However, it's worth mentioning that the people here are amazing humans and treated my dog with care and attention that makes him and me feel good. He seemed to be really happy when I got him back. He's an excited pee type, so I was a bit embarrassed. But they didn't humiliate or cause unease. Overall experience was great.

My dog stayed at the Pet Hotel for a week. They did a great job with her. She got lots of play time during the day. They even wrote a report on her time there and washed her bedding before pickup. The rates were reasonable on top of everything.

Wow, just amazed. I purchased a fish tank for my 4 fishes a little over a month ago. Recently, I was having some territorial problems with my fishes. On my way home from work I stopped at At the West sloop Location. I was lost trying to find a solution. Dennis approached me with a friendly voice and kindly asked if he could help. He listened attentively to my problem and inquired about what type of fish I had. As soon as I showed him photos he automatically knew what type of fish I had. He knew they were African species of fish. I HAVE A FRONT CICHLID, 2 RED ZEBRA AND A PEACOCK FISH. He also gave me information on life plans for my fish tank. What I thought might be a nightmare trying to find some thing for my fish tank it turn out into a delight thanks to the help of Dennis. You don’t get this kind of service very often. A man of etiquette who takes pride in his work.

Will definitely never shop there again, Raygen is very unprofessional as well as Morgan. I was interrogated when trying to buy a $2 dollar bottom feeder. She said it’s her job to ask questions because they want there fish going to a good home yet there fish tanks where filthy full of dead fish. I have never been treated this way before and will just take my business somewhere else. They have bad attitudes and come to find out Morgan is a Supervisor. No wonder staff are unprofessional. Before asking people about there fish tanks make sure yours are up to par!

Pet hotel experience was great, staff went above and beyond. We couldn’t pick up our dog u til about 9:05 (typical Houston traffic) and they were kind enough to stay late for us. Very grateful for their kindness.

The entire fish section is neglected. If employees can't take care of animals then the store shouldn't be alllowed to sell them.

Took my dog to the groomers she was jumping and running around before I dropped her off and when I picked her up she couldn’t walk on her back leg since. The groomers said they knew nothing and only would take care of an exam from the inside Banfield Hospital which immediately said she’s overweight and had a born condition of luxating patella which she was never diagnosed with during her 11 years so far. They refused to pay for X-rays since they think it’s preexisting and her only option is surgery. She can’t jump for anything or run anymore without knee popping since out of place. They didn’t offer to refund her groomers fee or take responsibility that something happened while in their care. They blame it on her breed as preexisting condition. Unacceptable and will never take her there again. My dog is luckily not in pain but is now 3 legged trying to adjust until surgery.

Was my go to pretty store for years, but I'm having a lot of issues with expired products on the shelf over the past year or two. Employees shrug it off when it's pointed out. Keeps happening and it's often 6 months or more past expiration.

Normally I come here to bring my dog to the groomers. I always go with Brooke, who does an AMAZING JOB. However, this time I got Andrea and that was the worst decision. Not only did she charge me an extra $10, because my dog was “difficult to handle”. Not only is my baby sweet, she’s never gotten a complaint. Then when i see her, the cut is bad and I hate it. Her tail is still bushy and not cut and same for her nails and face. I demanded my refund and vowed to NEVER COME BACK HERE. Absolutely outraged

My dogs sometimes stay at this location's doggie day camp at the pet hotel. Usually I have a great experience but today when picking up my pups, I noticed the girl watching the dogs in the play room kept yelling and spraying the dogs that came near her in the face. When she saw that I was watching her, she stopped and pretended to interact with the dogs and pet them. This made me very worried for what goes on when no one is around. I didn't get her name but she was white and blonde with short hair. If you don't like dogs, don't get a job involving dogs, it's that simple.

Booked a training class with them, went to the first class and were told class was cancelled. No notification was provided. We waited for 15 mins as there was no store manager. Finally after about 30Mins of waiting they refunded our payment!! Please do not waste your time with this incompetence.

My first time at this location was Meowmazing!! I popped in a bit late on a Sunday and the staff was SO kind and helpful. I didn't ever feel uncomfortable in the least. I was able to visit the kitties and get what I needed without getting kicked out. Thanks Y'all! I enjoyed my visit!

Employees have no idea what they have in stock or where anything is- makes no sense. They instantly try to tell me the items that i am looking for need a script. I was looking for Pro plan hydra care. No script is needed. I had to search high and low for this item because the employees don't care to look and don't know their products. The store isn't that big, and the cat section is very small.

Morgan told me that they couldn't sell me a bird because the store was closing in 5 minutes. that's all. no sorry for the inconvenience, no explanation, just a rude no. when i reminded him about customer service and atleast don't be rude he said "o you are going to be like that " and stormed away. When i asked him for his name at the end so that i could report his rude and aggressive behavior to his superior he gave me his name and I asked the other employee who told me she would call someone to help me get the bird she stared at me and smiled and morgen rudely told me to stop harassing the employees..i asked for her name once so that I could report it to the superior....Rude, aggressive, and defamatory and inflammatory staff. unprofessionalism at its finest.

I tried so many different grooming places for my dogs and I am surprised that this Petsmart does the best. But it's hard to make an appointment with them so you need to book in advance. If you r lucky you can get the service at the same day but usually you need to wait for another week

My big complaint is that PetCo stopped carrying the ONLY brand of food my cat will eat. PetSmart to the rescue! Every time we go in, if the supply chain hasn't cursed us, I am able to the food needed for my cat. The customer service is on point, and they are always friendly, and I love to look at any of the pets they have currently for adoption.
