Grooming Debacle**We arrived for a noon appointment only to be told there was no staff and we’d have to reschedule for next week. Before leaving I asked for our fur baby to be checked for matting and was advised he had a couple of spots but none that were major. We were nearly back home when they called and asked us to return as there was a cancellation. When my daughter took the 🐕 in it was a while for her to return to the car. She said a lady who wasn’t there during the first visit checked him in and told her all about Shih Tzu and upcoming specials.The pick up**From the time it took me to return for grooming I guess he be magically matted as the bill included brushing fee and two separate dematting charges. As the groomer was still working on his face I questioned her. She very rudely said ‘I told her he needed it” - her being my 17 y/o daughter. So I said well when he was initially assessed I wasn’t told any of this and if there was a change why didn’t you ask for me to step in. She then rudely pick up this brush and tells me if he isn’t brushed regular with that specific kind of brush he will easily have the problem. Then she tossed the brush down. Would have been professional to give more information on the brush and less attitude!!!!She told me I needed to handle any adjustments with the manager.The manager David - who I spoke to on my initial visit and explained that a new grooming manager was transferring from San Antonio after the New Year. Went I took my invoice to him, without question he removed that $50 additional stuff added.And for clarity had all the so say matting had been identified when I asked for the initial assessment - I wouldn’t have had an issue. Especially since we were there last week, had to reschedule. I had him look over then to as we’re Chicago bound for the holidays and I want him to be warm - although he will be in his stroller with his favorite blanket.I need to find a mobile groomer whom is hear are more caring and take time to know their fur client’s personality.

Grooming staff lost a gem when Luis left. Took my dogs in yesterday, when I picked up the poodle, who should have a shaved snout had long hair, and I asked them to please correct it, when I saw my Shih Tzu, I said, oh my God that looks hideous. They had shaved her entire tail and her ears off. I did not ask him to not charge me for her, but I was unhappy about the fact that she looked that way. Reiterated that I just wanted to have the poodles face corrected so that it was shaved and needed to ahead and have it done so I can get back to work. The new salon manager, a really rude person, told me he had to go get the manager about my Shih Tzu’s grooming. I did not ask him to do that, but I asked him was to correct the poodles face. Escalated from there, when the salon manager informed me that he "didn’t feel comfortable" grooming my dog, and wouldn’t correct the situation, then said that there were no other groomers available, there were literally two standing there. My dogs have gone there two years. Notes in the system concerning cuts. Not going to lie, at that point I gave him some choice words, and I will never be going back there, so long as he is employed. By the way, I was a two year LOYAL customer. Spent thousands on grooming, pet food, toys, clothes and accessories for my dogs there.. NO MORE! Luis , Who used to work in the salon, was absolutely lovely, never shaved my dog, took the time to comb out any mats and called to discuss anything needed with me FIRST. This new guy did not call me.. While her ears may have had mats, I personally combed out her tail before going, no reason at all to have shaved that off. Not impressed with the manager, either, who didn’t say anything, and let the salon manager roll over him. Clearly, can’t manage, sorry to say, but if you cannot discuss the issue with me without letting your salon manager run me over, then you don’t need to be a manager.. Picture below, had to have my employee take the dogs home so I didn’t have to look at them at my job, because I was so upset at the hideous job done. Will never go back. My poor Shih Tzu used to be beautiful. Now I have to look at months of this!

Recently visited the store to purchase dog food and witnessed the manager, Michael, being rude to employees and petty to guests. Never felt the need to escalate a matter to corporate till today. I hope action is taken so customers don’t have a terrible experience when visiting this location, due to Michael.

My dog got bad bacteria infection from haircut, took to banfield m.d. on antibiotics 21 days. Not getting better. Will never come back to petsmart grooming.

Went to purchase items for my puppy Blue Da'Marin (My Xmas 🎁 && my youngest son 6th 🎂. I lost our last puppy Blu' Te'Wayne Oct 21...7 days before his 1st 🎂, due to him being a very rare breed. I thank my fiance' so much!!

Just bought Guinea pig supplies mins ago. The cashier’s attitude was so horrible. I asked I wanted to see the Guinea pigs for purchase, and she said she will be there in minutes because she needed to do the cashier job at the same time. Never showed up because she has to stay there for other customers (I guess). So we just bought supplies for our Guinea pig we have. When she saw me at the cashier, never apologized whatsoever as if she never saw me. Hope I will never encounter this worker again.

Neat pet shop,went for fishes and accessories.Helpful staff and they carry a wide variety of cat food.They offer vet services and grooming of pets.They stock lots of pet supplies and also offer adoption services.Great store

I did the puppy training class. The teacher cancelled 3 classes without any notice and then never rescheduled the last class. It was a complete waste of time and money.

Love this place, I go almost every weekend for my baby Star lol. They have everything you need for pets and if you need help the employees are very helpful. I have also taken Star for a bath and grooming and they did an excellent job. I will be bringing her here in the future forsure. Yes i know that maybe i shouldnt have cut her hair being the breed she is but i could also tell that she was very uncomfortable with this Texas heat.

My kitty boys love when I bring home snacks and treats from here. We also buy their royal canin prescription food here. I love the ingredients in it and it definitely is worth the price

This place has gone downhill hiring unprofessional lazy people. Can’t ask them anything without giving me an attitude or annoyed for even asking for help. Asked them if they have prescription food and one of the employee’s told me whatever is on the back is what they have. She couldn’t even help me find or look for the prescription food. Either they need to shut down this place or hire new people. I rather go to the one by Shepard better attitudes, and helpful.

I use the pet salon at this Petsmart and I always have a wonderful experience. My dog always looks and smells wonderful. Phyllis was wonderful on the last visit. All the girls there are great.

Sooooo I booked an appointment for a bath and haircut with an additional nail grind for my 20lb corgi. I dropped him off around 1:30pm. Before I left, I asked when should I expect him to be ready? I was told no longer than 4 hours. 5:30 rolled around, and I received a phone call from PetSmart. They only said that I needed to pick up my dog because they weren't going to be able to work on him. So I came back to PetSmart to pick him up and they informed me that my dog was being aggressive towards the groomer, Phylis. This I believe not to be true because he is a loving boy. When I returned home, I noticed that he had a bloodshot eye and an odd knob on his lower back. I don't know what happened during his visit and I don't want to imagine it. :(Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT come here for grooming services.

PetsSmart has changed. I took my sick dog to the vet Banfield was wonderful and have always taken care of our pets.Today My wife was picking up our sick dog and on the way out the dog started having diarrhea. My wife quickly tried to find paper towels and someone to help. The store employee instead of helping just handed her paper towels. She spent 10 minutes cleaning up after the dog while trying to keep the dog from doing this againI later called the store to find out what happened why no one was able to help. They said “Well only 2 people were working at that time and no one saw her” Not one apology. This happened in the middle of the store. Not down an aisle the dead center of the store.I guess grandma trying to get her 20lbs of dog food into her cart has to do it herself because they don’t have enough staff to walk the store.

Double standard staff! The staff ignored half of the betta fish in stock that are dying and won't help me to get a blue ram chiclid because I only have a 15-gallon tank. I suggest you fire that employee

Absolutely terrible customer service! Rude employees and manager. I'm pretty sure the girl at the register was vaping because when I went to go talk to her, some smoke came out of her mouth. no one was smiling with me when I was talking to them they all seem very blank and annoyed, and just seem like they had an attitude.So it was around 1, and I asked the cashier that I wanted to adopt a kitten from the 2 that were there, and she said you can't. Only at 2, I said okay, but can I pay for her and come back at 2 and said no, we cannot hold your cats...? Um ok. She was extremely adamant, then her manager comes to talk to me, while I was playing with the kitten, and says it again, you can't adopt until 2, so I said, okay. I left and came back 1:55,Now I am 5 mins earlier than 2, & both were adopted. A a manager comes out and says yeah adopted that one about 30 minutes ago. And the other one is currently being processed for adoption now.I said what? They specifically told me that they cannot adopt before 2 PM so you now you're telling me that another person came by at 1:30 and they were no longer adamant?!Clearly, the staff has some miscommunication problems, there was a lot of disrespect from the manager.she deflected the issue the entire time. Blamed the other employee.Her response didn't seem sincere and said yeah, one of the employees made a mistake and adopted early.. just very strange..

I like the Location , the products ,and the prices.But the light skin female has a horrible attitude ,lack of knowledge,and energy that makes me not want to come back. I get times are hard and people have to work wherever they can to make do, but don't take personal life to work and take it out on customers .Or dump the guy who hurt you...
