Nina is a gem! We are from NYC and are living in Houston temporarily for a year. We have two Australian Labradoodles, which means lots of grooming. We use a Petco for vet and grooming services at home, so we are trying to carry it over here. Nina has been absolutely wonderful and great with our babies. She makes quality recommendations and is honest about what needs to be done and what doesn't need to done and what is realistic vs. unrealistic...lol. She is communicative throughout the service, and does a great job of doing what is asked. Highly recommend!

Nina is so amazing with cooper! She is very patient with him. Cooper is a very anxious dog but Nina is able to groom him head to toe.He was very fearful with nail trimming and hair drying. She is able to always trim his nail without a problem. Every time cooper goes to Nina he is always excited and feels comfortable with her.My pup is happy and so am I!

My appointment was at 1pm. I’m a return customer, and historically my appointments never took more than one hour. I arrived early at 12:50 to check-in my puppy. Two hours later, at around 2:50, I returned to the grooming area to inquire if my puppy was ready to be picked up. I was told he was just given a bath and that they needed at least 30 more minutes for the haircut. I picked him up before 3:30 and it was the longest time I’ve ever spent waiting at any pet grooming establishment. I was pretty upset because I had another commitment at 3pm that day which I missed.

Great experience every visit! My dog is very nervous and so I book Nina for all his groomings and she does a great job every time!

This was my Stevie's 2nd visit and and I have used Joshua twice! He did an excellent job both times and an even better job this time! My bf dropped her off this time and I relayed through the phone via my bf on exactly what I wanted and he did exactly that! She smelled wonderful and looked cute as a button. Her fur length was perfect and even, her nails were a perfect length (they grow so fast) and he left her mohawk but it was nice and trimmed just like I requested! I definitely recommend Joshua for all of your pups grooming needs! :-)

I take Shioki to Valerie on a regular basis. Valerie is very professional, competent, efficent, caring and very sweet. My dog gets easily scared when meeting new people, but when she sees Valerie, she is happy to go with her and get her bath and hair cut. I make my appointments with valerie only, but the rest of their team seems very nice as well (but I haven’t interacted much with them). Valerie is also very flexible and never looked to me like she was rushing, even if I dropped shioki late on a weekend. I absolutely reccomend Valerie and this petco.

I’m So sad that I trust someone name Julia, to do my dogs grooming appointment I let her know what cut I wanted for my dogs, if she wasn’t feeling that she can’t do that kind of cut she should told me. I never coming again to this store 😿😿 their coat is ruined.

1 star because 0 isn't an option.I brought my two small dogs (both under 10 lbs) to the groomer at 2pm for a bath and brush. At 6pm I had still not been called saying they were ready. After calling several times with no answer, I finally got ahold of someone and informed them I was on my way to pick up my dogs. When I arrived I was told that they had been bathed but still had not been brushed, and my smaller dog was still half wet. When I spoke to the manager he told me that he wouldn't charge me but that if I had an issue to not return. So I will be taking his advice and not returning to this location. Very unsatisfied with my experience.

Please do not bring your fur babies to this place! I have had only pleasant experiences with the petco staff and thrive employees so I decided to try their groomers out as well today, HUGE mistake! Picked my dog up after getting a bath and nail trimming and realized when I got home that her quick was cut to the point of bleeding! And it was still actively bleeding! I’ve called multiple times and even left a voicemail but I don’t expect to hear back so I am leaving this review. I understand accidents happen but the fact that this was not brought up to me upon picking my dog up and I received no apology is unprofessional and ridiculous! The groomer had to have heard my dog scream in pain and seen the red blood on her white fur and simply neglected the situation. This is unprofessional and unacceptable.

These folks really love animals and they do a great job on baths and grooming. I have 2 Aussies that we bring here for the furminator bath every couple months and it works very well. Much less shedding in the weeks after treatment.

My dog I took in from someone who could no longer care for him he was extremely matted Nina took her time with him & got him together & smelling so good being this was his first professional grooming I tried taking him to Petsmart they couldn’t work with him to get him to cooperate & recommended I take him to a veterinarian to be put to sleep to be groomed Nina will be his permanent groomer I really appreciated her job well done
