There is an assistant manager here with a very bad attitude.I was delivered the wrong items and I came to the store to exchange for the right ones.There was no manager or employee within sight to check in, just counter personal, just to make sure they knew that these were items I was bringing in for exchange, so I waited in a long line to speak with someone. You want to check in with someone to make sure no one thinks you are shoplifting, before you start looking for the right items.I get to the counter and explain the situation and she tells me that this is my problem, but not something for which she can help me. She asks me how she is supposed to help me with this. I say, how do you not understand what i need.Guys, you have got to treat your online customers as your customers. A customer like me has no way of knowing what to do. Home Depot has a customer service line right when you enter for exchanges, as do Best Buy, and grocery stores.I calmly try to explain the matter to her and why a customer does not feel comfortable in this situation just coming in with a box of items mistakenly delivered to my house before I look for the right items, and she backs up 6 feet to do the COVID passive aggressive distance thing that was common during 2020. This is bad.Please fix your ordering process and don't make it so difficult to return/exchange items when you screw up my order.Your stock is down from $26/share in 2021 to $1.66/share as of April 20, 2024. I am a frequent shopper and I spent $200 every week and a half to two weeks. You sent me Cat Litter instead of special hay Rabbit litter pellets. This is not a small error and gives away a lot about the ppor management throughout your organization. Online ordered items are frequently picked at the local stores. They are far apart in the stores cat is far from rabbit. The pellets are hard to get often and are not available now at the store where I returned the cat litter. I suspect that this ordering mistake was intentional to complete the order because the rabbit litter pellets were not available. Then I have to drive to the store and deal with understaffed, undertrained, and unruly employees. No wonder your stock is down.

We took our rescue here for a bath and trim by Shannon. I specifically asked that they not use any fragrance on her because we have dogs at home with fragrance allergies. Also requested they remove the small areas of matted fur behind both her ears. Was assured it would not be a problem. When I picked her up, she smelled very strongly of vanilla. I was pretty upset. When I started feeling behind her ears, it didn’t even look like her head has been washed and the matted areas were all still there. She was there 2 -1/2 hours. That’s not a long time, but they could’ve at least washed her head and trimmed up behind her ears.Ask for Ryan if you want a great grooming experience. His schedule was too full at the time I booked the appointment.) (2 stars because front desk person was efficient and helpful.)

My nearest location. It's neat, welcoming, and fully stocked every time I've been there. The staff is familiar with the items in the store, especially the food, and can effectively vocalize objective information about different types of food.

A lot of aquatic selections.Most importantly, your friendly staff, Daisy, she always wear a nice smile and always step forward to ask do I need assistance and suggest me different alternatives.This time, I bought a Fluval 307 filter and I am happy about the performance.Hire more Daisy type of staff.

Everyone that worked here at this location was so helpful and nice ! Best experience at a pet store. Found a new part of the family and got to see some cool animals with my son. Crates of dog food was on 1 aisle of the parrot (bird section) plus the aisle with the parrot food had a long cart with wheels and I had to push it out of the way to get my parrots food. Probably would not have bothered as much but this is the 3rd time out of the last 4 times I came to buy food for my parrot that I couldn't get around easily, and it is a safety issue.

Last Tuesday I received the devastating news my beloved Ben has cancer and no amount of money will bring him back to health. Crushed, I headed to Petco to get him a fresh collar since I wanted him to look nice and pretty before letting him cross the rainbow bridge.Honestly, I was numb, with tears running down my face, incapable of choosing the right collar. One of the staff, Michael if I am not mistaken, approached and showing the utmost compassion, helped me to take the right one and provided solace. He also gifted me a bag of treats for Ben. I will be forever grateful for his great showing of humanity, which is getting more difficult to find these days.PS. Ben passed away on Jan 23, 2023. He loved and wore his cute new blue collar from Petco until the end.

I love the way they cut my fur baby nails. This lady was so talented even for fur babies with black hard to cut nails.However I was NOT IMPRESSED with their walk in clinic they have for small issues. I was promised several things for my cat and NOT ONE TASK WAS COMPLETED. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. They are a mobile vet so I don't blame Petco but It is in their establishment hence 2 ⭐ ⭐

This store has great merchandise & the staff is wonderful!So many wonderful toys for all your animals.They also hold Cat & Kitten Adoptions on the 1st Saturday of each month thanks to Operation Pets Alive Rescue (2-6) Check them out!! Be aware that petco will overcharge you at the cashier. Prices marked in the store are incorrect and end up costing more at checkout. Always a pain telling them the price is wrong and even had to walk out because they wouldnt honor the price.

I drove here for an online order. Staff was helpful and very nice. I was concerned with the size and the cashier informed I could return it to any Petco location. It fit very good but shortly after putting it on she managed to take it off!! :(

I booked grooming appointments for my 2 dogs online. Later on, I received the message showing they cannot take grooming for either of my dogs, so I called them back several times and nobody picked up the phone. Since they said either of them, I believe they can take 1 dog. When I come, they said they dont have time for her. So what is the point of making appointment here? Such a waste of time and terrible service.

I went to get food for a bearded dragon. The dragon had 2 bulbs for it’s cage so I noticed the red bulb was burned out. I asked the lady working what to do because I was babysitting for a family on vacation. She said since I could not be there everyday to turn on the white basking light then the red bulb would keep him a little warm. All went well once at home but I googled the red bulbs for bearded dragons and it said NEVER USE THE RED BULB. Moral of the story, be careful when babysitting for someone’s pet, especially when you know nothing about their habitat. Once I found out about the red light I rushed over and had to drive over an hour to turn off the red light. The dragon was ok, thank God! I ended up staying that day and letting the poor caged creature use his white basking light. They are supposed to have that light everyday. So the attendants that help you are very knowledgeable I notice but this lady gave me questionable info. Perhaps the usage of the red light is new info or maybe only one site tells you no to use it and others say it’s fine. Me and the parents are confused now. I will get to the bottom of this as I do consider caged pet’s vulnerable to their owners lack of continued responsibility to keep them safe. If you get a caged pet, remember it is living in a prison.
