It is truly unbelievable how long it takes for someone to come help you when you just want to get fishes. Me and my mother were waiting there for over an hour standing for someone to come help. In matter of fact, NO ONE CAME. We went to ask the front if there was another person. She kept saying on there should be someone over there. We said but is there another person? She told us ask the person there. So we waited another 5 minutes and asked her. She said in a moment, then we waited another almost 20 minutes and decided to leave. Talk about poor service quality. Doesn’t deserve a star at all.

Cashiers should not assume that everyone shops there all of the time . Not everyone knows that you charge for the bags or that you don't sell pets 30 minutes prior to closing . Customer service should still be given to whom ever whenever they come. It was what was said and how it was handled. Also get people who are knowledgeable about cohabitation of different fish species.

The staff is nice at this location. The store is small but clean and well kept. This store is closest to my house but I will probably just make the driver and go to Kingwood like I have been. My issue was with the grooming department. It was my pups first grooming appt and I feel like it was not great at all. The inside of his ear got cut. His haircut is very uneven and his nails are sharper than they were before I brought him there. I was not satisfied. Like I said, I will likely go to the Kingwood location or a different place all together.

All this happened within 3hrs..My granddaughter has been wanting a snake forever. She was given a full setup, so I agreed. She bought a very small corn snake. They put it in a cardboard box. Small critters, ok. Definitely not for a very small snake. It got out in the car and got in the ac vent. She went back to the store asked for help. Was just given zip ties.?? Snake got caught in the fan and was killed. She finally removed the snake and took it back. She was told that after leaving the store their was nothing they could do. Even though it was their box was the problem . I had a cup from a betta I had bought, I gave it her to go buy another snake. She even heard a employee telling the same manager they had,had issues with the boxes before. Just suckie thing for them to do.

Everyone here is extremely kind and helpful! I had an issue where I couldn't find anything to put my dogs pills in due to him having severe allergies and the two lovely people who helped me recommended wet food meatballs and it worked extremely well!!! The people here also respect when you have patches on your animals harness that say "Do Not Pet" and will ask you before they attempt to interact with your animal!!! These people are great.

They don't have shopping carts because homeless people are steeling them?So customers have to carry 50lb bag of dog food from the back of the store all the way to their car?

Visited my local Petco to cruise around to see if I could find any deals. Didn't found any good deals, but the animals there were cool. Why pay go to to the zoo when you can see animals here too. ☆☆☆☆☆ 5/5 stars very nice.Update: Went to the Vet that is inside this Petco and service was excellent. Arrived 15 minutes early and treated me right away. Small room I was in, but it didn't really matter. My pet is happy, so am I.

I live closer to the 290 @ 43rd store. But there is NEVER anyone in grooming to answer the phone. So while sitting in front of this store I phoned the Aldine location & Crystal was very helpful in answering my questions about the Vital Care Benefits. So my 2 babies & I drove there.Heather & Crystal in grooming are amazing my babies loved them. Vital Care is definitely a good plan for our 2 babies!The young man at the register was very welcoming. He had to tend to the front of the store but was able to assist me with getting a young lady to help me with my questions about food changes for our babies. The atmosphere was very very welcoming.This petco location is amazing 👏

So I had an appointment booked for my XL Pitbull at 11:15 today for a shower and I have all my vaccinations records for my dog he isent missing a single one but after going inside and getting to the front desk of the grooming the people working there really are super lazy and must not want there job because after giving them my dogs documentation with everything in it they were just looking at it for almost 5 minutes and then said my dog had no record of a rabies shot which I found strange so we just left and told them okay but after going to the car and looking he has the rabbie shot it was all inside his records they just were lazy and did not look through it or did not want to service my dog never again I was even thinking of going back but it would’ve been dumb of me it was some girl with pink hair and glases and some curly head with glasses don’t work if you don’t want to!

Poor experience. Amber, management on duty, expressed I could not return an item without the receipt because it was a collar, leash or clothing item. She said that these items are high theft items and cannot be returned unless I had a receipt. I asked for in-store credit and she said that nothing could be done. I then showed her the petco policy both on the website and on her counter and she said that she wasn’t sure why the information she provided wasn’t showing on their documents. I let her know I needed to look around and I’d be back so she could have time to clarify. Once I finished looking around, she was gone and I spoke with Synnamon who had a “can do” attitude and did her best to help me out. She was also under the same impression as myself and a little confused as to why I couldn’t get in store credit. There was also some confusion as to the amount I would receive as in store credit once Amber finally decided to follow the actual policy petco has in place for returns instead of the inaccuracies she provided me with initially. I decided to leave and try another location as this location did not have the stock I needed in anyhow and I was not longer interested in working with Amber.I did end up purchasing fish the same night at another location.

My spouse had asked a employee with curly hair and glasses if we could hold one of the ferrets because we were planning to buy. The employee said no and so we’re like ok let’s get ferret food before we get the ferret. So I had went up to the cashier and asked the same employee if we could buy a ferret and he looks at me along with his other coworker (a female, pink tip hair named rosy) saying they can’t sell them cause they had fleas. Which I would understand but had they mention to my spouse in the first place or even mention anything about that I wouldn’t be upset. They could’ve displayed something but I wasted my time coming here and the two cashiers upfront weren’t helpful or welcoming.

You know when you come to a place you never have been you don't expect the people to be rude or disrespectful but the should always be courteous so that you come back again.when l came here I was disappointed in the beginning of young lady who was supposed to train my dog ended up being so very rude I started in 6/1/18 and didn't finish until December to me she cheats people from their money she came once to her appointment with me never saw her again I pay over $356.00 For my dogs training upset I came in and asked for a manager at that point she new was I was going to do and instead of coming over and saying good morning ma'am how are you how is your dog ready for his classes no she comes up to me and says to me don't think you're getting your money back cuz he's already came to one class so that to me showed me that she was not an honest person with people's money not consideration of how the customer feels considering I'm paying for my dog I'm not asking for something free $356.00 is a lot of money to walk up to someone and say that bad business she said it's in the paperwork you signed I told her I don't care about the paperwork cause I have ever text we have talked about and you never have come to train my dog IAM not giving money away for free at that point the manager came over and I told her was was happening to me and what was she told me the training I wasn't interested in getting my money back although I did pay almost $400 for the training of my dog for her to come at me that way I wouldn't recommend her for training any dog but a young man very well-mannered came in afterwards with a manager and at the end it ended up being that I enjoyed bringing my dog for his training and I come all the time now if it wasn't for the manager and this very polite and courtesy young man who's keep saying he was so sorry and helped every customer when she didn't show up to train the dogs that shows he's an employee was very devoted to his job and to his customers that makes people want to come back again and again and he did everything he can even when he's training a customer comes up and ask him a question he replies to them and shows them were to go the best places to call for when your not home and need your dog to walk were I could go to walk him he get more the five Stars in my book now I recommend my patients as well as co-worker to go and ask for him and I even give them his name and I tell him he's an awesome trainer thank you mr Cesar for stepping up and helping me with my dog. My dog is family thanks you for the manager and the person who trained my dog.very happy with you guys.

Ms. NEDDIE is the most perfect groomer for my TY and has been so, for many many clip-bath sessions. Now TY is 12 and almost blind from cataracts but Ms,Neddie showers love and attention on him to the point that he lies and tries to sleep during his session. I don’t remember the names of the associates who helped us, but both associates were very kind and helpful. The gave us alternative suggestions for food and how to deal with a picky dog. Although we didn’t take the food suggestions and went with a cheaper version instead, their help was still appreciated. The store was clean and organized, and the cashier was so helpful as well. Thanks!

I brought my dog Ginger to Petco for a mini make Rover and Neddie helped us. Neddie has been doing this for Ginger for a while and does a fantastic job. Ginger has a bit of anxiety and trusts her as much as anyone. I really like the people at this Petco. They care very much for the pets that come in.

I spent over $140 and I had to pay $0.10 for a bag the money is not by all means a lot is just the fact that I have to pay when I just spent over $140 at the store. I guess if I have to pay for bags I could go somewhere else to buy my products.

Great job grooming our Bishom Frise. Superb help on selecting dry dog food. We were assisred by a young man that went out of his way to school us on the varieties of brands; took a lot on time with us. As we are driving out we noticed him driving off from behind the store. SO, this young man was heading out BUT took time to carefully tutor us so we could make an educated decision...we own SEVEN rescues; we needed expert advice.!

Hello I would personally like to mention that this was my first time at PETCO on West road. Long story short I have female kitten we found and I needed some assistance. Kristen & Heather were super super nice and their knowledge was impressive. These nice ladies deserve the recognition not only because of their hard work but the outstanding customer service they provided me.They answered many of my questions made me feel very welcomed and I will definitely be back for more stuff. They both made my day Thank you for helping me today I greatly appreciate it. 😊

It's all young people that work there and they are very friendly and very helpful maybe not as knowledgeable as some of them could be.They didn't have the hotspot medicine that I was looking for they had the same brand but it was in a liquid squirt bottle as opposed to the gel that I had gotten before.I'll try it but that gel rubbed right in and stuck to the fur.
