Had a fantastic experience here shopping for my new puppy. All of the employees where so helpful. One helped me find the food and another finding a harness when i realized i needed the help lol. The cashier was friendly and helpful signing me up with an account. This will be my pet store going foward 10/10

I took one of my dogs over here to utilize the self-service wash. The staff was friendly and showed interest in my dog. They provide the tub, water, a tie-lead so your dog doesn't jump out, an apron, towels and washing essentials. Once your dog is done in the tub you can use the blower to dry her/his hair and you're ready to roll.

Hardly helpful staff, only two star because I cannot integrally put a one star since the girl did kinda ish point me in the direction of the item I was looking for. Although just barely and it still took me 5 extra minutes to find the cat food my order called for. Making me late to delivering the food on time.

It was normal like every time. But at the end I got so surprised when I paid for the products I was trying to get . And asked the cashier for a bag to put the products in . And the person told me that they were changing 10 cents for the bag.I didn't have cash since I had pay with my debit card.I understand that the cost of living has increased lately but I think the businesses have to cover those expenses.Why no to ask the costumer if the want their products in bags or the they don't wanna use the store bags they get 10 cents discount per bag that the costumer decides not to use.Instead of charging more for something that the business support to cover .Or at least advertise about the changes are happening in the store.

It was good they always welcome you when you come in. And ask if you need any help. When I was checking out. I mentioned I had earned a free bag of puppy food. Without skipping a beat. They talked me thru the app and guided me to the barcode they needed to scan!

The store has a nice selection of animal products even some items are discounted and they have dog cakes and cookies and the staff are nice and knowledgeable of the items that they have available

I here this morning. All of the staff at was so sweet and they were so gentle with my baby kitten. They were good with answering all my questions. Easing my anxiety with their help. Amazing service and smiling faces. And most importantly, my baby manchita was well taken care of. 10/10 would recommend and I will come here time and time again!

We took our fur babies there today to get their pictures taken with Santa. The store is alot smaller than im use to going into. Although the staff was friendly and helpful they seem to be a little disorganized with the set up for the santa pics. The santa him self did not look happy or jolly. Very distant. I was a little disappointed but did not want to say anything only because there were more furbabies coming in so we paid for the pics and left. We may go to pet smart next weekend to take pictures and hope for a better experience.

Came for consultation regarding advanced training for my rescue. The staff was outstanding in friendliness and concern for mine and my young beagle mixes need. My dog has some trust issues and it was decided we needed to delay the class so my dog needed more attention on an individual basis. I felt the trainer was honest and had our interest above the need to sell a service that was not beneficial to our needs. I love that! The staff continued to be very kind and patient to my scared dog and gained her trust with many treats!

I haven’t been here in a while but the self wash used to be $10 and now it’s $20😐 I’m surprised they doubled the price. It’s a nice store and nice workers just wish it hadn’t gone up so much because to was my 2 dogs it would’ve been $40 plus tax and I bring my own soap and conditioner.

Make sure you go online and check for what you’re getting before you get to the store or while you’re there. Things will be on sale online but if you go to the register to check out, they ring up at full price. You have to ask for the internet price and show them the amount. That’s crazy. So if you don’t know it’s cheaper, you’re paying full price because they won’t tell you or change it themselves.. Just FYI. Do your research.

Full-service pet store with much more personalized experience than I've come to expect from the larger chain pet stores. Of course those other employees do a good job too but the smaller store and neighborhood feel of Petco made me comfortable right away, even as a newcomer to the area. It is very close to my house and they have a great selection of quality products, I have found everything I needed each time I went in. I have not used their grooming or bathing services but if I needed that for my dog I would not hesitate to go there. Friendly, caring staff who clearly love pets

I've been to MANY Petco stores in the Houston area. This location is the absolute friendliest. I'm always greeted when I enter, asked if I need help & told to have a nice day when I leave. Never a long line & acknowledged if there is more than one person in line.

Very small store. We were there for variations for our dogs through the Vetco company. They have no fish section with tanks, only a few Bettas in bowls on a rack. Over all the employees and Vetco were very helpful and informative with everything we needed.

Went to petco off Almeda Genoa to buy fish, for the first time since I’ve been to a any pet store I found someone that handle the fish with care Johnny was great and handle all my fish fast and with care and did not keep the fish out of the water for long a period of time like other places he did great. So happy and surprised!!

I've gone into this location with my wife a good few times now to save my pets or just get some advice on food and I am always blown away by how helpful Erin and her coworkers are! They are incrediblely educated above their products and how to best use them and so much more. They keep the store so neat and clean as well! Above and beyond, impressive! Be back soon!!

I was looking for an item I had seen in this store during a previous visit and an associate approached me and offered assistance and knew exactly where the item was that I was looking for. He was very helpful and the cashier was really friendly and explained to me the return policy during these hard times. She was very sweet.
