This is my favorite Petco simply because of the service. The lady was so helpful when I asked about dogs with stress related anxiety. She recommended the best product to me and they truly worked. I will definitely be returning to this Petco.

I had to leave a review because of how well my experience has been here. Everyone , Johnathan especially, is so nice and helpful. I can be a handful with all the questions I have and my indecisiveness, but Johnathan was kind to me the entire time. He answered every question I had and did not rush me at all. All the staff had been so great here, I don’t even want to go to any other Petco because of it.

I really love this location. The staff was friendly. I love the diversity. Marcy the groomer, was fantastic. They are lucky to have such an amazing employee.Our Laurent looked 100 times better than when we took him to PetSmart and the service here is just quality.Thank you all!

The Petco is a good store in a good location. This store is in the same parking lot as several other stores where you can get pet supplies including Big Lots and Kroger. We go here because their selection is excellent.The store is clean and well-organized, and they have the gamut of products for cats to dogs to fish to ferrets.This store is not open late (8pm), so plan accordingly if you are running late errands, though I doubt that is a big deal for most.A word about the parking lot — the crime rate at the Kroger that shares a parking lot is pretty high. There is a camera with flashing lights in the parking lot, and people in my neighborhood have had the the catalytic converters stolen from that parking lot. While I don’t know of an incident in front of the Petco, please be aware of your surroundings nearby.Overall, this is a good store and a good place to shop for your little ones.

Always get great service from the staff here but I wanted to share my recent experience. I have a large dog. She eats Acana red meat brand (no grain) Two weeks ago I picked up Acana red meat (with grain) by mistake. My Great Pyrenees wouldn’t touch it. Even though it wasn’t in the original packaging Petco return policy let me switch it out hassle free. Godfry at the register was great! This is why I’ve been shopping PETCO for years.

Charge for bags? At the counter with about 5-6 smaller things. Rings me up and says have a great day. I asked if he had a bag for my stuff and said “we charge for bags. “.In response to owner: And yet every single thing I purchase was packaged in plastic! Sounds nickel and dime to me.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Grooming my Goldendoodle was a disaster. Instead of taking the time to brush out her hair they said she had a couple of spots of matted fur and decided that shaving her was the appropriate course of action. They initially told me that they were going to have to cut it a little shorter because of the matted fur but I came back and they completely shaved her including her tail. Never coming back again.

This location is always well stocked and clean. The cashiers are efficient and I can always count on getting in and out quickly. I love interacting with the cats up for adoption. They seem so happy to get attention and affection.

Petco on 9th and Shepherd is excellent! Customer service is top notch! Sales people and everything AAA+++. It feels like family when I go in. Don't confuse them with the other guys (like I did). No comparison!

Went in with my rescued shih tzu and Kelsey took very good care of him! Most groomers don’t know/care about the haircut but Kelsey did an amazing job!! This was my rescued shih tzu’s FIRST haircut and I’m so so happy and so is he!! I will definitely be coming back for my next grooming appt for my other shih tzu as well. Truly amazing job!!

great petco shop. staffs are always welcoming. they actually have several carts and baskets so that's good. some petco locations dont have carts because they are all lost around the parking lot so i'm glad this place pays attention to those. and i just always put it back after!the staffs here are really cool/nice and i love how organized the store is. love seeing the parrots and guinea pigs and roaming around the cat sections to pick out new cat food and toys.

What a great experience! Went in today to get two different foods to wing our new dog off a food that is making her sick. Dean at the Shephard location in the heights was super helpful. Even went above and beyond to explain my points with Vetco to get me some money off my bill AND gave me my money back for the food that didn’t work with our new dog I purchased last week. Top notch customer service Dean provided and greatly appreciated. I will be sure to return to this location for all our pet needs.

First time going here and had a wonderful, very easy experience with Marci! She was super quick, but not fussy at all when I still showed up a few hours later to pick my Pomeranian up. My sweet Pom, whom (it's hard to admit) has major behavioral issues. However, he seemed really comfortable here & even acted happy when I picked him up! They trimmed his nails too and they are perfect now! All for a super reasonable price, and easy to book online :) Highly recommend

Very ratchet Petco... You could tell employees really don't clean up dog messes thoroughly.The selection of dog food is limited to employees stating that all they have got from shipment. They really don't bother to have stocked items. They depend on what the truck brings. Don't bother to waste your time at this store.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My miniature shitzu was groomed here some months ago and when we picked her up, she kept licking her area and whimpering. Little did we know, she had several cuts in her genitalia area. We immediately contacted the store and customer service. For months, she did not go back to petco. Recently, I’ve been wanting to try once more with a different groomer. I was promised a gift card long ago to cover the expense and never received it. I called the store to speak with the GM, Sabrina. She had the worst attitude and kept cutting me off while I was speaking. TWO MINUTES after our conversation, her and her team took it amongst themselves to cancel my appointment without my permission AND I was on the road towards petco. I had customer service listening and called Sabrina to ask why they cancelled my appointment and she ignorantly said that they canceled it because they though I just wanted something for free though we’ve always paid for her grooming! Worst experience ever and not one person has contacted me since then.

Y'all... Huge shout-out to Maryon for making my dog feel herself 😂 but honestly, this bath + haircut was the best experience I've ever had (and probably my dog's) in terms of ease and timeliness of their grooming service. Also a huge plus that you get 20% off with a Petco account and every 8th service is free. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

I went in today to purchase a few things for my pets and was very sad and disappointed to see this.I walked over to look at the birds and was disgusted with the condition of the water bowls!These birds have probably not had clean water in a few days because the bowls appeared to have green slime.I did mention it to an employee but not sure what else I can do.
