My experience at Petco was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in with my puppy. We were welcomed immediately and the staff was super friendly and helpful at showing me where to find items I was looking for as well as making recommendations. They were so sweet to my puppy as well, they treated her like family! We will definitely be back again very soon to restock and purchase more items as well. The customer service at this location is wonderful and I can't say enough positive things about all of the staff every time I come here.

The gentleman at the cash register was beyond awful. He hates to be there for sure. Why people take jobs that they are not FIT for them. He never greeted, smiled, or thanked me for my purchase. Did you find everything to your satisfaction? Something related to pets but not a bitter looking face. Terrible service. I am indicating the date and time so he's easy to identify in case his boss wants to do a corrective action. 4/1/24 around 6pm.

I went in for a package return for another company because they accept the returns and it went very smooth and easy. They are very aware of the procedures to be followed and I was probably there around 5 minutes. I definitely will do the same again.

It's a small(er) petco- but I really like it! The staff here is freaking awesome! They usually always have what I need. Parking is super easy. Totally a fan.

Love this location! They have a self-wash station that is life changing if you have big dogs and don't want to pay professional grooming prices. Their staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The store is always clean. I have enjoyed taking both my dogs here for the past 3 years.

I usually come to this petco because of the self self wash stations, but the last three times they have always been extremely dirty. The employees don’t clean up all the dog hair only until another customer is there waiting.

This is the smallest Petco I have ever seen. More like Petco Express. I went in to get some things for my aquarium, but the fish supplies are extremely limited. The entire store is 95% dog and cat products. This is fine, but if you have any other type of pet, you are going to the wrong location.With that said, given the limited category of products they carry you would think that it would be pretty spacious. You would be thinking wrong as the store is really cramped. The aisles seem a lot more narrow than usual as well.The staff was helpful in explaining the limited fish items they had in stock, but that couldn't really overcome the limited selection concept this location seems to be going for.Bottom line is, if you need products for a dog or cat, this is the place for you. If you have any other type of pet, you should go elsewhere.

Clean, organized...but waaaaaay too small. My dog did not feel comfortable in such a small space. Not too many treat selections as i like for my dog ro be able to pick his own. Staff is friendly however.

Always helpful. I come to use the dog wash, and I left my Fitbit on the table. After not finding it in their safe, they offered to go through the security footage to see what happened to it. We found it!

I don't wanna bash a business too much, but the store is cramped and very pricey.. They would do well to follow Petsmart if they want to keep charging as much or more, but without the variety in stock.. Still, the employees are very helpful and generally upbeat.. I would say if you live close, give it a try.. But because I live closer to Petsmart and there really isn't much difference in overall pricing, with the exception of more willingness to reduce some things for clearance, I generally prefer Petsmart.. Although, that's another story..

Just find out today that for the first time shopping at Petco in Houston, there is a charge of 0.10 for a bag. I been shopping at this petco for couples weeks and another Petco in Houston. No one ever charges for a bag. We give you business by shopping at Petco, you couldn’t afford a thank you in complimentary bag? I will never do business with anyone who will charge for a bag. There are plenty of pets shops .

I really hate to leave a bad review, but I was pressured into signing up for Petco's Vital Care Rewards (knowing I would likely cancel it for lack of use, which I shared with the associate). I was told I could "cancel it at any time", which is somewhat true... but it is "a year-long commitment". I'm stuck paying the monthly fee for 12 months, after which the annual auto-renewal will be canceled. Questionable & misleading sales practices or poor training here, not sure which one.

Staff were friendly and cheerful. No complaints there at all. But...the self wash area was very poor. Old worn out tattered towels. They've replaced real shampoo with plastic containers of watered down, who knows what brand or what the ingredients are. Dog owners aren't big on products with no labels:) There were no aprons to guard your clothing as there were in the past. Those towels were worn out. Clean but you could tell they were way beyond useful life.

I absolutely love this Petco. It really nails down the small-store feeling that this chain aims to exude. Even though the prices are a little higher than the Bunker Hill Petsmart (which seems to be a universal truth), the people who work here make it totally worth it! They're all super friendly and extremely helpful. Whether it's explaining how the pet tag-printing machine works, helping me lug buckets of litter to my car, or getting some extra dry towels for my dog at the wash station - they always go the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied.

This petco is great! they have a lot of products that aren't normally carried at other stores, especially stuff for when your pets are feeling a little under the weather. they have a great selection of different dog and cat foods and their dog washing station is very convenient

Well, I got the dog wash today. Nothing was really together. There was one person washing and one person drying. No aprons so basically the clothes will get wet. Then, a line formed behind me. Nothing ready for anybody. It was very disorganized. I hadn't used the dog wash here in years. I tried to talk to the guy in the front, first thing he said was "well he's back there cleaning them". I told him this wasn't a complaint just feedback but he wasn't really receptive even when i was being nice about it when i really felt i wasted 15 bucks. Therefore I post my review so maybe somebody reading this at the store will just take my feedback for the future. Saturdays are busy days for pet stores so it's best to be ready.I've been going to that pet supermarket in the galleria area. Everything is always together there plenty of supplies baths cleaned as needed. They have steps for the dog to get into the bath. Fun experience and it's cheaper. On top of that I can choose what kind of shampoo and conditioner. Annnnnnd the store manager there is very receptive to feedback and even knows me and my dog when we go in. Petco better step it up.One star bc the store wasn't receptive to feedback
