This place was great for our needs. The staff was unbelievably nice… it was almost as if… they actually care about their jobs AND you! That is rare in this day and age.Aside from that the store was clean which many aquarium stores are not.They have a good selection for fresh water and salt water.

At first I thought this was a saltwater/marine life only store. But I was pleased to see they have freshwater as well. They have nice Betta set up with filtered water so they are not sitting in cups. We bought a plant, a snail & a beautiful koi Betta and he was very healthy.

I've been coming here for almost 3 years now and everytime I visit its always a treat. From helping me start my first freshwater tank with amazing hardscape, to shrimp advice and supplies, to getting some supplies for this new little betta for my mother. I always find everything I need and am given incredibly kind service, I will always recommend this place for all your aquarium needs especially saltwater! Saltwater is next on the list ❤️

Amazing LFS, if you ever get the thought of having an aquarium of any sort from fresh water to saltwater please swing by and check out their amazing selection, from aquarium supplies all the way to salt water eels.I came to this fish store not knowing what to expect I was anxious and nervous since it was my first time in the salt water hobby as well as my first time going into Nemo & Friends.I was astonished by the quality of service I received . Not only was I helped with picking out necessities to run a saltwater aquarium, but they even took the time and care to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase and helped me understand how the process of setting up a saltwater/reef aquarium is.100% recommend Nemo and Friends to everyone please support their store and staff members. Amazing people that are very caring and understanding of your situations.Don’t be afraid to ask questions!!! I can go hours in their store and admire all the fish and corals they have!!Please check them out!!! 20/10 customer care!I could say more but this review would never end. 😂

After going to several other fish stores, it's definitely safe to say this place blows them all out of the water. (Pun intended)They're very friendly and genuine, and we've learnt so much from them. Additionally, I never felt intimated to ask any questions to them either.We'll definitely keep coming back, and I don't doubt that you will too!

This is THE best saltwater LFS in Houston. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and helpful despite always being busy they always take the time to help out. My kids love coming here, the employees and owners are always so nice to them and don't mind their wild behavior which I very much appreciate. The stock that I've gotten has been healthy and well cared for, ZERO fish loss in six months as a customer. Prices are very fair and the selection that comes in is the best I've seen but can go fast so make sure to go often. I exclusively get my RODI water here which has been successful for my tank and also is a good way to check out the latest stock. If you are a serious hobbyist or complete beginner, this is the place to go.

Visited the store for the second time today and to my dismay, my son and I were "overlooked" for the second time. I've read all the great reviews and have yet to get the wonderful service everyone raves about. No one said they'd be with us shortly or asked if we needed help. Funny though, as we were leaving we were thanked for coming in. It was like deja vu, really couldn't believe it happened again. We will not return but glad others receive top notch service because they do have a nice selection of livestock and supplies.

First class service. I have purchased multiple times in the last 5 months. Most recently I purchased a sump tank from them. It turned out to be defective with one of the chambers having a leak. Rich (owner) went to work for us with the manufacturer. When they refused to do the right thing Rich stepped in and took care of us out of his pocket even though he had no responsibility for the defect! I will continue to do business with Nemo & Friends and I encourage you to also.

I had the best experience with the staff here. We have a 250gallon salt water fish tank that was giving us a hard time to get ready for our fish and just don’t really know what we were doing wrong.After explaining everything that was going wrong with our aquarium I was quickly met with solutions.A small list of things that included a great quality UV and a couple of tips to get our tank going. Needless to say, we haven’t had any issues with our tank ever since.We will be back.

We drove over an hour to come here and it was well worth it! We left with 5 frags, a new fish, a flipper glass cleaner, and a very nice turkey baster. The prices were less than the internet or stores closer to us and the selection was top notch. The staff was also very friendly.

Hands down the BEST aquatic place in town!!! The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful! I recently restarted my saltwater tank and they helped me see it all the way through! ALL saltwater stock has always been HEALTHY!!!! Love this place!!!

Came in today and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of fish and the beauty of the store. The layout was very neat, clean and organized. The staff was extremely helpful and even encouraging. I have considered getting into saltwater over the past few months and I believe this store may just make me make the switch. Impressed with the amount of supplies, livestock and coral selection. They had. Found some species I'm not used to seeing at most LFS's in the Houston metropolitan area. Yet to buy any livestock so I can't make statements about overall health.

Too expensive! It is a very good place but the prices are exaggerated. There are no discounts and prices are not labeled on the tanks. I recommend looking into other options with better prices.
