We get our dog, Ryan, groomed and bathed here, and Ashley did a fantastic job with him. She is so attentive and great with our dog so he has a wonderful grooming experience. She also talked us through our options and recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

Always went here, but it's changed under new ownership. Popped in today to buy about $70 worth of cat food. I asked if I could use the restroom, and the very sweet clerk said they didn't have one for public use. I really, really, had to pee and told her so. She went and talked to the manager or owner, who came out and told me the same thing. He was rude. I'm 63 and a polite person. I paid for my stuff and politely told him I wouldn't be back. That's just not the way to treat regular customers.

Three stars are for the friendly staff and groomers. They are the only reason we return to this store, and it’s strictly for nail appointments. Since Natural Pawz took over, they are not carrying several products due to their poor dealings with vendors in the past. Nulo, Fromm, No-Hide, Petcurean, and several other brands are still not available on their shelves. These are all essential recipes that any reputable natural and holistic pet stores should always have in stock. Had Natural Pawz not grown too quickly and greedily, I truly believe they would still have a niche market. It’s a shame. I hope this is remedied immediately. I’ll change this review once it is.

We’ve bought our Australian Labradoodle for the past several months and can not recommend more highly. A lot of the groomers we tried before did well the first time we brought him in but disappointed us the second time, so we were somewhat tired of trying new groomers when we came to Kriser. We booked with Kirston and have always had good experiences. She takes the time to talk about what cut we’d like, and even taught us the difference between several common doodle cuts. She sends text updates during grooming if it’s going to take a little longer for any reason. We just moved to Colorado and I’m so sad that we have to find a new groomer. I highly recommend Kirston and and the Kriser grooming team!

Since the Natural Pawz/Krisers buyout/consolidation, this store has basically no inventory or brand variety anymore. Used to love both this store (formerly Krisers) and the Natural Pawz on 19th. Now I’m stuck ordering from Chewy as my only option. Would love to have a viable option for pet supplies in the Heights again!

We love Kriser’s!! Everyone is so sweet and helpful, but I have to gush about the grooming.I cannot possibly express how much I appreciate Karla, the literal best groomer ever, at Kriser’s.My baby girl has a medical issue that requires a close shave on her bottom and privates to prevent infections and Karla is the ONLY groomer who has taken this requirement seriously and done a great job with it.She also leaves my baby looking natural and sweet instead of going crazy with bows, and leaving her looking like a geriatric dork like every other groomer seems to style my precious cavapoo.We love Kriser’s and will hunt down Karla, Liam Neeson if she ever leaves 🤣

Just had our senior dog groomed by Ashley p. And she did an AMAZING job. He has a super thick double coat and grooming anxiety due to some previous bad grooming experiences. He came out looking so happy and calm, we couldn't ask for a better experience. We asked to note in our account to have Ashley p as his designated groomer for all our future visits

I went in to trim up my puppies eye area and sanitary areas. I called to make an appointment the night before and did it the next day which was helpful. The only thing I wish I knew was the price for just a trim was $30. I called ahead and they said it would only be $10-20 for what I wanted. If I would have known it was a $20 difference for a full groom with a bath I would have done it. Over all I liked how my puppy turned out. I didn’t realize she had such beady eyes.

They carry healthier brands of cat food that our cat actually loves and makes his coat healthier! We had them deliver the food to us and they even included a free sample of catnip!

We are huge fans. We love the food selections. My pup went through a picking stage and they worked with us to get the right mix. They are always friendly and very helpful. This is our go-to favorite spot.

Our dog is a senior miniature poodle mix with cardiac issues. We called and booked an “express” grooming with the outfit in the Heights. Because of his age and medical issues, we always do the express grooming, where you drop him off at a specific time and the groomer does all the grooming at once so you can pick him up in 1.5 hours. Get in, get out. Because we requested this specific type of appointment, we had to wait 2+ weeks to get him in for the appointment due to their schedule.Arrived at the 3 pm appointment at 2:55 pm. Was told they did not have an express appointment available. Will definitely never return to this shady and unreliable groomer. Go somewhere else. This place is completely unreliable. Would never trust them again to go back.

I had lots of recommendations to go here for my puppies first grooming but I was very disappointed. First off, my appointment was at 9, the groomer didn’t arrive until 9:30. I waited for him to arrive, once he did, I explained what I wanted done. He pretty much said he won’t be doing very much besides bathing, to give my puppy a good experience for his first time. We agreed he would try his best.When I picked up my lazlo, he was covered in dog fur, some wasn’t even his. It looked like he didn’t even cut any of his body fur. He cut lazlos face completely wrong and his front bangs were super crooked. I wish he hasn’t touched his face at all. He said he tried his best but he was very wiggly, I understood. But my dog was covered in fur! Like I took him home and blow dried him outside because we both had fur all over ourselves and my car.I will not be taking my puppy back there, just seemed unprofessional.

I've always had pleasant experiences picking up specialty for our dogs here. The last time I went in was better than usual because Victoria helped me pick up some great deals on food and treats. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're particular about what your dogs eat or are searching for healthier pet food options.

This is the second time I have taken two of my dogs here for grooming. Ashley is the BEST! I really think it's the best haircut my 11 year old dog has ever had. She really took the time to wash her very well and deal with some oily skin issues. Above and beyond. The best grooming experience. Love this Kriser's.

Always an incredible experience but unfortunately this will be some of my last as I hear that all stores are closing by the end of this month February 2023. Not sure what prompted this, but I feel that this is not only responsible but unfortunately because not only will people be out of jobs but we will not have a natural pet food centric alternative store that isn't Petco or PetSmart. No shade to Petco or PetSmart by the way, they're great stores but unfortunately they just do not cater to the kind of high quality ingredients and food and treats that Krisers does. On top of it I've heard that Natural Pawz is also closing all stores.

I don't really shop here much outside of getting my dog groomed, but the groomers are excellent, absolutely worth the premium over the big two chain stores. My dog is usually ready after only a couple hours and looks great while i would have to wait for up to five hours at other places for my dog to be done. Everyone is super friendly when you enter the store, I should probably buy more stuff here just to support this type of business.

Fan freaking tastic experience here! Had absolutely splendid interactions with the people working here. I just got a new puppy and they set me up perfectly and prepared me to be the best father to this animal I could be. My pup ran away not too long after but their teachings have prepared me for my next adventure with the beautiful creature known as the dog!

I take my Labradoodle to Kriser’s in the heights for grooming. They always do an awesome job and I recommend them to all the doodle owners. My pup is a bit of a handful and hates the hair dryer but he is always happy and handsome when I pick him up. The groomers are talented and patient.The entire staff is great and goes above and beyond. You can tell they love your pets and want the best for them.

Shopping here is easy, prices are very comparable to other stores and staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I took my 6 month old Goldendoodle here for his first groom. I was very anxious and picky about what I wanted but Sally made him look perfect! Thank you, Sally! We will be back.

This is the only place I will take my golden retriever for grooming. Tina is the best groomer I've ever found and I wouldn't trust my dog Scout with anyone else. She works very well with dogs of all sizes, and her workspace is always clean and hygienic-- which is a HUGE plus in my book. If you're looking for a good groomer, definitely check out Tina and Kriser's in the Heights. I recommend her 100%

Everyone is so helpful at this Kriser's. Last time I went I was searching for a grain-free food and they were able to give me pros and cons of each and help me stick within my price range. My dog has also been groomed here before and they do an excellent job, and he's always happy afterward.

Best place to get your dogs haircut in town!No where that we’ve got our goldendoodle’s haircut at in the last 2 years has done nearly as good of a job as Ro did (I believe that was her name, I’m awful at remembering names). We showed her a picture and mentioned a few things we wanted specifically done and she knocked it out of the park. Best cut ever.Pricing is absolutely fair compared to other places, and the cut was done in a reasonable time too.On another note, we did some shopping when we came back to pick our dog up and all of the staff (including who I believe was the store manager) were extremely friendly and helpful, and they carry literally any dog product you could ever need.We will exclusively get our doodles hair cut here and shop here from now on. Very impressed on every front with this place!

My sister and I love this place. The groomers are friendly and attentive. Willing to give advice or suggestions. Our pets nearly jump out the car once we pull up to the Heights location. They are always handle with love and care and we are always greeted with smiles.
