I boarded my German Shepherd earlier this year in April. When I handed him to the staff he had his prong collar on. About 2 days later, I get a text from the staff informing me that he had a WOUND on his neck. They said it appeared to be an abscess on his neck that had opened up and blamed the prong collar. I told them that at home he doesn’t even wear the prong collar and that I had never noticed any bumps on his neck before dropping him off. I took him to his vet to get his wound examined and the vet said it could’ve been a (1) abscess that popped or a (2) bite based off examination of the wound. I appreciate that the boarding placed informed me soon and was responsive in this situation. However, I am very skeptical of this place because even if it was an abscess, the way it ruptured resulted in a lot of inflammation that I could only imagine happened due to improper handling of my poor dog. All I can say is be cautious. Never going back here again. I don’t think I can even post photos since they are gory and against the guidelines.

I have taken all my dogs over the past 18 years to Molly's when they were located in Midtown and then when they relocated to North Sheppard. My Labs and Dalmatians all got the best care. I never had to worry about the safety of my babies when they were at Molly's. Now, my female Dalmatian Daisy, goes every week. She is very animated and active, and the staff knows how to monitor and maintain a healthy environment for her. I strongly recommend Molly’s.

The staff is great friendly . Booking ahead advised. They are pitbull friendly a big plus. You can just board your pup, or add on play time and grooming. My dog comes home less stressed than from other kennels it’s A few dollars more than other kennels but has a great location

Huge shout out to Jay and Kim!! My rescue dog was so badly behaved… he had been kicked out of 3 daycares, tore up my entire hallway, locked me out of my house, tormented my other dog, etc... I was afraid that I would have to give him up. Molly’s is now Hank’s second home. He spends 5 days a week in the fitness program and LOVES it. Thank you Jay for turning him into an angel and saving our relationship!

My dog HATES bath time and getting her nails trimmed but she LOVES Danny the groomer so much! She just stares at him and let's him do whatever he wants, which is fine by me because he always makes her look amazing! I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so. I'm so picky about where I take my dog but the respect and love the staff have for animals has won me over time and time again. If you are looking for a place that puts the animals welfare above making a quick buck then this is the place to bring your furbaby!!!

My pup had never been to a groomer (we always DIY’d it) and I was really nervous about it. Ive heard a lot of horror stories. I recently let her fur get long and decided it was time to let someone else give her a proper cut. I am really glad I picked Molly’s. Danny was really patient hearing about what my concerns were, what I wanted, and he made some great suggestions. My dog’s previous family didn’t socialize her much and she’s still pretty skittish around other people, but he was very gentle with her and by the time he was ready to take her back, I felt a lot more calm and confident about leaving her in their hands. He did SUCH a great job! She looks like a completely different dog. He took my requests into account and gave her a nice, clean cut with the hair out of her eyes and a shorter muzzle that’ll stay out of her food. A neat length that’s still long enough to protect her skin. She was in a good mood when I picked her up. Everyone was very professional and friendly and the service, I think, was a good price for what we got. We will definitely return. (Photos are before and after!)

I've never taken my dog anywhere else, but she loves it here. We do weekly daycare and boarding whenever I travel. The staff are great and attentive. Have several friends who bring their dogs here also.

Great staff . Our dogs love it here and we feel secure with them being there when we are gone . They are very accommodating, this late drop off I needed to come in early to do drop off and Amaya was so helpful and made it a smooth process. She even gave me her info just in case the other staff memueres were busy . When I arrived Josh was already waiting on me to get the pups . We love this place and would recommend it to others ! Thanks again guys

Do not take your dog here to be groomed! We have never had an issue with getting our dog regularly groomed before but after our experience at Molly’s, they’re now terrified of the groomer. I don’t know what happened but our dog’s eyes and skin were incredibly irritated and had little cuts across body. There were several popped blood vessels in each eye to where the whites of the eyes were nothing but blood. It smelled like they had sprayed cologne all over her and she was still covered in loose hair. And it took almost four hours, which is ridiculous for a dog to sit in a kennel around other loud, stressed dogs for that amount of time.

My girls go to Molly's for grooming. One of them loves it, the other not so much, but I know they are in good hands. The groomer comes out to greet the one who loves her. Lol. They do a good job, friendly staff, easy drop-off and pick-up.

We love Molly’s. Our doggos always come out looking fresh and clean. We recently moved and will likely be looking for a new spot, new ownership has raised prices significantly to the point where 3 dogs might break the bank.

Easy registration and checkin process for boarding. However, the “suites” are just cages with clear glass. The dogs don’t interact with each other. The backyard area is small. You can pay for upgrades for playtime and treats. So, it’s very basic in its offering but flexible if you want to upgrade with add-one of your choice.

If you're looking for a sign to not go here, this is it.My dog had a grooming appointment here, and I am so glad that we left before any services could be performed on either of my pets.Instead of taking my dog back immediately and making me wait to speak to the groomer alone, they had me wait in the lobby 10-15 minutes with my dog while numerous other clients came in. Additionally there were dogs shrieking (not just barking) all throughout the background making my dog more nervous by the minute. By the time the grooming staff came out he was barking but still wagging his tail and accepting treats. The grooming staff listened to him bark for about 30 seconds before telling me my dog is "too aggressive" to be groomed there. This is the same dog who attends doggy daycare 2x a week, has been groomed at other places, and I would genuinely let any baby approach him and not be nervous. Although they tried to play the whole "this is in the best interest of the dog" card, using the word aggressive multiple times to a new clients face is truly crossing the line. We would have left and came back respectfully on a day he was not as barky but not after completely misjudging a dog after a few minutes. I took both my dogs and will never be returning.Additionally, several of our friends had appointments over the next few weeks and have all cancelled after hearing about our experience. At the very least, the staff could be more professional and respectful.P.S. if you're looking for a doggy daycare, my car is bigger than their playroom so truthfully reconsider

Currently fostering 82 lb, sixteen-month old dog who has never been on flea/tick monthly maintenance, much less ever bathed. After Gizmo was neutered very recently, I needed to wait for the incision to properly heal and his skin to recuperate from open lesions due to constant scratching/itching from fleas before he could be bathed.Decided to try Molly's Mutt House last Thursday and from the moment I entered, the service was first-class.The owner assisted me and was very patient as I needed to explain the situation and as I had Gizmo in the car, she booked the first appointment for a medicated shampoo bath right away. When I picked-up Gizmo later in the day, Christine provided outstanding customer service and did so again today as Gizmo received his second bath.He already has a third appointment scheduled for next week.Danny the groomer has taken care of Gizmo and has made all the difference as Gizmo's smell is much more pleasant and most importantly, the buildup of dander and "junk" on his skin has disappeared. On top of all this, they provided an after-photo of his first bath, and all the employees I have met are really nice. Thanks for the great experience.

Molly's Mutt House is honestly the only place I trust with my dog. I have been taking my dog to Molly's for daycare and cage-free boarding for 11 years. The staff is caring, loving and overall amazing. You can tell they love each and every dog that comes through their doors and they treat them as their own. My dog is always excited to go and I don't have to worry about him while I am away. I am very thankful for Molly and her staff and highly recommend them for all your dog's social and boarding needs.

Employees are very kind and knowledgeable when answering questions, place is always clean and everybody loves on the dogs they treat our fur babies like there own so I know they are safe when boarding for just the day, overnight, or just weekends they do accept pitbulls which is a plus must have rabie shots tho . DEFINITELY RECOMMEND . Majority of fur babies are spayed or neutered also a plus you do have to bag and seperate the dog food for however many days they will be staying if overnight or a few days other than that I love this place for my dogs, they do have a daycare to drop them off for the day also if they do get along with other dogs 🐕 daycare is a good option if you don't want to leave them at home all day

We have been loyal customers for 7 yrs and sadly have to leave a one star review and no longer recommend Molly’s to friends/neighborsThey used to take 2-4 hrs for appts and they took >5 hrs today and had our dogs ready at different times (one dog ready 1.5 hrs before the other dog who is an elderly 15 yr old lab). Poor things got dropped at 9:30a and we couldn’t get them till after 3pmWhen I requested to speak to management regarding a change in the level of service, she was incredibly rude, dismissive, interrupted anytime I tried to talk. She blamed the groomers and that was it. No sorry, no offer for remedying the situation in any way. I said that I’m sure the owner would be disheartened to know that 7 yr loyal customers would be lost due to the way I was treated on the phone and how poorly our dog’s grooming care was managed. She responded that the owner was out of town and wouldn’t know. Appalling customer serviceMolly -your staff needs customer service training. We have loved your business for years and sad we can’t patronize anymoreAddendum: a gentleman called later to apologize about the day and explained they were short staffed. He was very kind and professional

I have been taking my pooch to Molly's for six years now- it's the only place I'll ever trust to take my baby to; even though I moved across town a few years ago I make the trip! All of Molly's staff are kind and seem genuinely passionate about pet care. Molly, herself, has given me tons of valuable advice on my dog's diet, and since following her guidance my baby is healthier and happier than ever!

Molly's Mutt House did an amazing job with our two girls! It was their first time being boarded and one of them was less than thrilled about being there. They stayed in constant contact with us and worked with them to become more comfortable in their new surroundings. I can't recommend Molly's enough, without their caring and expertise we wouldn't have been able to enjoy ourselves on vacation.

It was 1st time for our furbaby to be in overnight care but won't be our last. The staff took good care with food and meds. We took advantage of the optional time with a trainer which proved beneficial. Good job Molly staff, 😊

In the past the prices where tolerable because they did good grooming, but lately the customer service and grooming services have taken a nose dive. Fur babies can't talk but if I get a feeling that she isn't being treated right then she's probably not.

Fantastic place and they will take great care of your pets. We love our pets like we love our family members and Molly and staff will treat your beloved pets like you would want them to be treated. Your pet will have lots of exercise in the playrooms and will be taken good care of while staying at the Mutt House. 5 stars and highly recommend!

I will not personally bring my business here again. I work with a local dog rescue group, and awhile back we had a dog who needed to board for a few days. I called Molly's and was provided with a quote from an employee. When I arrived, the employee was very friendly, and gave me a discount since I was with a rescue group. I was happy with my service!I had no issues until I went to pick up the dog. I was charged a higher price than the price that I had been quoted. I explained to the woman that I had been given a quote already. She told me that the price I had been quoted was wrong. I explained that a Molly's employee had given me the quote. She then began to bad-mouth the employee and argue with me. I told her that it was not professional to go back on a quote, and that it was not my fault that I had been misquoted. Overall, she was very rude. Eventually, she agreed to honor the original quote, but told me that she would take the difference out of the nice employee's paycheck! What is ironic about all of this is that I had been very pleased with my experience based on the attitude and kindness of the first employee. I would have given them more business, and I even planned to begin buying my dog-food there. However, the total lack of professionalism that the manager showed changed my positive experience. I don't want to give my business to someone who bad-mouths their employees and resists honoring original contracts.

We’ve been going to Molly’s for about 2 years now for our Golden Doodle Walt’r (We’re not Fancy). We’ve only done grooming there with them but I must say that he always looks wonderful. The do such a good job from nails to teeth and ears. It’s such an improvement from the terrible Petco we use to go to on, I want to say Shepherd, next to the Big Lots. He normally gets a 4 puppy cut all over. He looks fabulous every time he returns. And for a dog as hairy as he is those cuts last a while. Love Molly’s! I would recommend this for people in the Heights/ Garden Oaks area. Staff is nice so long as you’re not a jerk yourself Lol. Definitely recommend you giving it a try if you’re looking for a groomer!

So, I'm a bit of a helicopter parent with my dog. I'll be the first to admit. Today, I took my 7 month old schnauzer, Pickles, into Molly's Mutt House worried and scared as all get out. I had read a couple bad reviews and I know that's going to happen everywhere. So, I was very hesitant. As soon as we got there though, the girls at the front desk were smitten with her and gave her all the "Awws" and "She's so cute!!". After I dropped her off and made it to work I barely sat in my chair before I had a missed call and voicemail from Molly's advising me on her cut...but asking permission before she made any executive decisions. I was very impressed with that. Then, right before I felt the need to call and check on her...I GOT A CALL AGAIN FROM MOLLY'S. They let me know they didn't think getting her nails painted would work because her long paw fur and advised me against an upcharge they could have easily sold. She then informed me that Pickles was ready and I could pick her up anytime. Again, the girls were so sweet and Pickles was SO HAPPY!! One of the ladies at the front desk even made sure to remove the tags from the toy I just bought so Pickles could have her prize right then and there. I will absolutely return to Molly's for all of Pickles' needs!! What a wonderful place and to the staff: THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR PUTTING A PARANOID DOG PARENT AT EASE!!!!

I have been getting poodle cuts my whole life. These people are RUDE AND INSULTING - I took my dog here for the first time. I dropped him off and spent 10 minutes filling out paperwork. I emailed the front desk girl his rabies papers and a picture of what I wanted. I wanted about one inch left on the coat and clean feet with a clean face. She said nothing about the condition of his coat. I went to get coffee and thirty minutes later they called saying he would have to be totally shaved because "he's too matted." I told him that I have never been told that by a groomer and that I have been getting him groomed his whole life. I regularly bathe and brush my dog - but he is a poodle and their coats get thick. They said they couldn't do it though and to come get him. When I arrived - the middle aged white man with short hair proceeded to tell me again that he was too matted and that they wouldn't even be able to anything but shave him. I told them that doesn't even make sense because if you shave a dog with severe matts it would cause burns - even though my dog had minimal matting. I told him that's why the cut costs $50+ because clippers have to be changed out due to heat and dogs are rotated. Any other groomer I have visited takes at least 4-6 hours to complete a poodle cut, and most will simply add a nominal up charge for extra brushing. I told him that this is to be expected. THEN, He proceeded to tell me that if I had been getting my dog cut for years, that I should know that it was "inhuman and cruel" to cut a dog that was "so severely matted." These people simply didn't want to put in the minimal amount of time required for this breed and instead chose to waste my time and insult me.
