Can't say enough about how wonderful Cody, his family, and employees are they made our experience amazing. He rescued a juvenile breaded dragon back to health and trusted us to adopt him and to provide him with a loving home. Phoenix is amazing, healthy, and now very loved thanks to Cody. I don't mind his prices as you know your being supported in getting and keeping your animal happy. I reached out twice to him since getting my breaded dragon and he was very responsive and kind.Thank you so much for all that you do for the animals. We love Phoenix and will bring him by to visit soon.

Great new store / small business for those with the reptile habit. Good connection for hard-to-find reptiles and advice for the full spectrum of hobbyists out there. Cody and family really love what they are doing and are dedicated to the craft. Never left a review before but motivated by their business. He was kind enough to educate me about razorbacks in the home tank.

Scored these two sweet babies today (a sulcata tortoise and a ball python) from the most amazing small business reptile spot in houston!!!! So thankful we stumbled upon it; Master Splinter was VERY knowledgeable about all the different reptiles he had to offer and really made us feel comfortable and welcome to ask questions since we were new to the reptile game. Definitely will be going back for all our reptile needs! 💚

I was scouring the local pet shops trying to find someone with a decent turtle selection. I went to this reptile shop and was amazed by what I saw. A beautiful array of reptiles and the entire room had this green glow because of the lamps on the vegetation. The turtle pond was so cute! Cody Mata helped me find the best pet for me. I got a hybrid box turtle and he set up quite an awesome deal. Would recommend to anyone serious about the wellbeing of their animals. These guys GET IT.

OMG! I’ve been to reptile shops before and I can honestly say, this IS where you want to go! The manager is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make your experience amazing! You won’t be disappointed!

I went in looking for feeder mice for my 3 month ball python and expressed my concern about not being able to get him to eat. He happily offered to take time out of his day to go get the right feeder mice and help me feed him there in the shop. The amount of relief I felt knowing someone who knew what he was doing was willing to help me with my snake was amazing! He also has some outstanding reptiles and was extremely informative about all of them! Will only be shopping at this shop from now on I am extremely impressed and blown away by the service!!

First time feeding my snake and store owner showed me how went home did exactly what he did and my snake ate the mouse right up! Will def be back for more feeders.

I had a bearded dragon and he was kind enough to take him off my hands as i no longer wanted him and felt he deserved to be given to someone who knew how to properly take care of him. He was very professional about the whole thing I also appreciated him giving me more information about them. Overall was a great experience.

I was recommended this place by a customer at a pet store I work at, this place does not disappoint. They have animals that I've only ever seen on tv and they're in great health. They also have many item you don't see in a normal pet store. Overall a fantastic store and staff!

Cody and DJ are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to these exotic reptiles and bullys you will not find this kind of quality in a dog's coat or health of chameleons anywhere else in the city not even petsmart. They are also the only place on HWY 6 in cypress doing Grillz the diamond cut and diamond dust is a solid piece and hits hard
