I like this old school hardware store. I can find what I need without walking a mile in a big box home improvement store.They have a big section of screws, nuts, washers and bolts can the back wall. I like the circular display bins with a large selection of bulk nails. As a home DIYer, many times I don't need a whole box of a a particular item.Store associates are friendly and helpful.

I really dig this store, and this type of store.This is the small, corner hardware store that is eager to help. They have that certain “thing,” that the big boys don't bother carrying anymore.This is the epitome of the neighborhood store.It's not a myth, it's not just a yearning for times past, these types and more importantly, this store is here. We all should patronize this store and help it continue.I've never gone in here and not had a friendly chat about one thing or another.The best thing I can say is Martini's is a good part of this community.

I enjoy going in they are very helpful and answer any and all questions you may have. I've gone in and had keys made they have some cool novelty keys to choose from. I also got a few pet supplies from here.

I have been coming here for twenty years. They are family and locally owned. It is an old school hardware store. There is nothing fancy about it. They are always helpful and answer questions knowledgeably. (I hate asking a question at the big stores and realizing the person answering has nothing to base their answers on.) I’ve never been up-sold there. If you want to buy three nails they will sell you three nails without having to buy a huge box. Always easy to get in and out.

Roy was able to answer EVERY question I had (and I had a WHOLE LOT) and he was also able to immediately take me to the exact part of the store where the item I was looking for was located. He truly helped me more than any other hardware store employee I've EVER met, anywhere!!!! Thank you Roy! My project is coming along wonderfully!

I have been coming here for years, but for the past 3 visits I have been treated poorly. Seems like they just like to talk rudely about the customers. I’ve felt attitude as well, no happy greetings, makes you feel unwelcoming. If they could just change their tones and how they direct to customers the place would be like before for the meantime, that’s it for me.

They don't make 'em like they used to here...Aside from the massive items (lumber, paint, appliances), they have just about everything you need here at Martini Hardware that you'd find in your big box home improvement store.BUT... it won't take you 30 minutes just to find what aisle you're looking for, and they have friendly, knowledgeable people who *actually want to help* you!If it means you pay a few more pennies for some screws or nails, it's unquestionably worth it. Martini Hardware has been in the neighborhood for quite some time, and whenever I need to fix something myself, I'm going here first from now on.

I've used this company for all my firearm purchases within the past 3 years (maybe more?). They do a wonderful job, are wonderful people and you can rest assured they will work with you to the best that they can. I highly recommend this establishment if you are in Houston for FFL or Hardware.It's a little far compared to my more local hardware store in town, but if I were in this neck of the woods, I would be going here over bigger chains.

This is your grandfather's hardware store, Martinis has those hard to find hardware items and the staff knows their business! They are courteous and knowledgeable, and can offer some insight into the job you need to do big or small. I love this place!

"Old-fashioned" service. The family that owns it staffs the store, they know your face and what you got the last few times you were in, and they know about the products they sell.It's not that much more expensive than big-box stores either. Even if the prices are 10%-15% more expensive on certain items, you save that much by not having to search 30 minutes for someone to help you -- and when you finally can't find any help you buy 2 or 3 items that will possibly work, just so you don't have to go back again.

This store took advantage of the freeze to triple their prices. Piping that was normally in cents was almost $2. I spent almost $500 in materials that would normally would have be no more then $150, but since no other store had materials had to choice but to buy. Extremely disappointed this use to be my go to store.
