Yesterday, I took my dog to Mane and Minks for a grooming appointment scheduled at 12:00 pm, expecting it to last 2½ hours. However, when I went to pick him up at 4:00 pm, realizing they hadn't called, I found out they still hadn't finished. Despite being fully booked and dealing with another pet emergency, they hadn't managed to complete the grooming. One of the groomers was particularly rude and disrespectful. On a previous visit, they even called me to say my dog was misbehaving during the grooming, but when I rushed there, it turned out to be a case of mistaken identity. Despite the location's convenience, I won't be returning due to this experience. Moreover, I doubt everything was done properly during the five hours my dog was there, as he was still covered in hair when I picked him up, suggesting they might not have even bathed him.

First time bringing my Lucky and it definitely won’t be the last. Great cut especially after having to de-mat. No nicks or cuts and even left a cute high top for him and surprise dye on his tail! Customer service was great and price was reasonable.

Brought my Pomeranian in to get a “Deluxe” grooming. I explained to the young lady that our puppy was a little on the feisty side when being groomed. He was starting to shed his undercoat ,where you could literally pull the loose hair off. I expressed my concerns, & was reassured that he would be taken care of. I asked that his tail not be touched AT ALL!!! His mane shaped up and his body “CUT Down”, not shaved!!! We were going for the “lion look” . I dropped him off at 10. Wasn’t called to pick him up until 3pm. When my dog came to me,I could’ve cried! I was mortified! They literally shaved ALLLLL of my dogs hair off claiming it was too matted. His hair was not matted. Yes,he had a lot of shedding but it wasn’t so matted to the point where he needed to be completely shaved like a rescue dog or son. My dog is a house dog . He never stinks,and is VERY WELL taken care of. I let them know immediately that I hated the cut and all they could say was “Sorry,he was really antsy and difficult “. If you knew he was going to be too difficult to cut, you could’ve simply called me and I could have picked him up ! You don’t take matters into your own hands and just do what’s easiest for you!!!! I left and bring him home ,only to see a gash up under his arm that NO ONE informed me about! I was furious!!!! I took my dog back to the store and asked for a manager. A older man was there proclaiming to have been a groomer for over 20 years and yada yada yada…. Seems to me,a 20 yr groomer would have known that you are NEVER supposed to shave a pom unless absolutely necessary because their coat may not grow back or grow back abnormally! No one was empathetic. Just kept telling me how difficult he was and etc… Then they had the nerve to charge me $92 for this b.s!! I was however refunded,but that is no substitute for the horrendous haircut,trauma,and hurt they have caused! I will NEVER go back here again!!!!!

They were very sensitive to the needs of my senior dog. She moves alot and gets agitated (not aggressive). It took a little longer but they thoroughly explained what needed to be done. They called and gave me updates during the grooming process. My dog looked great. I booked my next appointment on site.

I liked this place and happy to support a black business but very unhappy that they don’t try to accommodate a customer. My Yorkie gained 2 lbs and this little dog is now considered a large dog that cost me $92 about a $20 increase and I guess I lose my senior discount too over 2 lbs

Had been taking my dog to the other location for years. Since transferring management service has not been the same boarding kennels are not friendly for mine 70 pound pitbull. She always comes home with scratches on her nose and paws due to trying to get out of kennel when I pick her up. after grooming, she smells worse then when she went in. Looking for another pet salon and groomer.

I am FURIOUS. Long story short they had my dog since 10 am and by 3:30 pm they hadn't even started his service. He was in a kennel for HOURS. When I hadn't gotten a call to pick him up I got worried so I tried to contact them. 3 missed calls later I decided to just go see what was going on. And they had not even touched him. Just picked him up for 5 hours. No water no walking no stretching just basically forgot he even existed. Had I not gone up there who knows when I would've gotten him back. They were 30 minutes to closing and hadn't thought to call. Mind you they called ME to schedule this service in the first place offering 30% off. It's not worth it. Save your time, peace of mind and pet's safety and go elsewhere.

I wish I can give no stars. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE‼‼‼ My French Bulldog was stolen from here while in their care. They didn't do anything to help find him. All the owner said was, "Sorry" and "We have insurance". No amount of money can replace my pet and the emotional connection my family has with him. If you care for your dog like I did with mine, DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID AND TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!!

Made an appointment for today at 1 and when I showed up the place was locked, I knocked on the door and tried to call them multiple times to let them know I was here for a grooming appointment for my dog and no answer. I must have called 10 times. I even waited outside for 20 minutes knocking on the door waiting for someone to open it. This was the first and LAST time I come here.

Fantastic black-owned, small business grooming. They do an excellent job with my Yorkie Bella, she absolutely loves it there. I have been coming here for the past few months and I have used both their grooming services and hotel services. They do not disappoint and their prices are very reasonable. There customer service is excellent as well! You can definitely have peace of mind with your animals in their care. They have a customer for good over here!!

I just adopted my furry friend and had never taken a pet to be groomed so I wasn't sure of how the process went. I looked for local businesses to support in my area and found Mane & Minks. The customer service was great over the phone and in person, the receptionist was patient with me in answering all of my questions.My pup was in desperate need of a good bath, he smelled horrible and his breath stank . I treated him to the deluxe grooming package which included an oatmeal bath (they have other shampoos to choose from), an ear cleaning, hair cut, nail trimming, and teeth cleaning. When I picked him up he looked like a completely different pup, he was so happy! At first I wasn't sure how I wanted his coat cut but I left him in their hands and they took care of everything. When I saw the results I was in love . They did an awesome job, my pup looked too cute. He smelled great, his coat was soft and smooth so I left very happy.On my way out I bought some goodies for my pup that surprisingly didn't break the bank. I bought him a pair of tennis balls, a stuffed animal toy, and some cookies that are locally made! He usually doesn't like treats (weird I know) but he loved the pizza cookie and ate the entire thing in one sitting.All in all, my pup and I loved this place! We'll definitely be coming back!Support local business and check them out :).

Cool, place for grooming - just had an surprise bill when it was time to pick up… i rather you do the exact services I booked nothing extra, but if needed more extra or recommend something extra it would’ve been great to call and confirm with before doing the services, instead of just doing them w/o my consent and i come back to a higher bill then expected, because if I ended up not having the funds for the extra that was added it would’ve been an issue. Could’ve had JUST enough funds for what I booked for and that’s it. Not happy with with even how my dog look I showed them 1 pic and got something TOTALLY different. Can def tell they knew this was my first time doing this whole grooming thing because they did exactly what they wanted to do with my dog even charged me for deep conditioning which I DIDNT ask for. why would I need they if what I purchased already came with conditioner. They were literally just adding things to bill.. Everytime i look at my dog I think about it.

I have nothing but good things to say about Mane and Minks Vet Spa. I was greeted with a friendly smile as I entered the building. The people were personable, willing to answer my questions, and very professional. I enjoyed bringing my Yorkie here and they took really good care of him. The prices are reasonable and they did a great job with his groom. He is fiesty so anybody that can get him to act right will have me as a repeat customer. They were very patient with him and let me know before they started on him what he needed because his face was a little matted. Overall, I am very well pleased with their services and we will be returning!

From the enthusiastic greeting upon arrival, to the warm genuine way the the owner Angela picked up my dog and instantly connected with my dog, I knew this was a special place.This is not a typical dog pound type dump that processes your pet as quickly as possible. This is obviously a place ran for and by pet lovers.I was impressed by the cleanliness, sophistication of the decor, the range of services and most of all aura of authentic enthusiasm for interacting with my pet.My dog ( Mr. Bobo Head) hourly enjoyed his time there. He was calm relaxed and happy. by contrast after a visit to other groomers, he was stressed out and very nervous.If your dog is like family to you, I encourage you to try this place, your dog will love it and you will be glad that you gave your pet this experience.From clothes, to grooming and boarding, this place has it all!

I can not stress enough DONT make my mistake and take your pets here .I read the Yelp reviews and thought I should give them a try .They came highly recommended. My dogs were only to be bathed and sanitary areas cleaned and trimmed .THEY are shaved and look crazy ! So crazy that I can't understand and HOW this could even happen to a chow especially when there was no talk of trimming or cutting I drove 45 miles 1 hour and a half to pick up two shaved dogs that look like cats . There was a mix up in the tickets was the response I was given .#disgusted There is no excuse for this ! How can you accidentally shave a dog that was there for a bath and nails ?Both dogs are sad since returning home . BBB gives this establishment an F rating , do your research people . I was told that the owner walked in saw what happened and immediately left for the day .... really ? You don't take ownership of your establishment? Sad

First off I didn’t know how Bella would react to being in a few environment with people she didn’t know. She could be a little feisty with new people. They were great with her. They gave my baby the best bathe ever. I’ve been to a couple other places but nothing like this. My dog sheds bad but after her bathe there has been NO HAIR. Thank you guys so much. We will be coming once a week!

Girl at front desk was very kind and helpful. Days later I realized my pet was cover in bug bites and not an allergic reaction to the products that she used. If you bring your animal to this place check it for bug bites after you leave.

The groom is seem to have a hard time grooming your dog the way you want to even if you show them a picture of your dog do not come back looking like the picture so the best thing you need to do if you go there it's just a easy easy cut your dog will probably come back the way you like them.
