I love Lakeside Animal Clinic, we've been coming here for about 6 years, ever since we adopted our rescue dog. I initially started with some of the lower-cost chains, but quickly realized that a private clinic like Lakeside was well worth it. Our dog is TERRIFIED of the vet and other dogs and people and Lakeside always takes extra great care of her while we're there. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vet techs to the doctors are kind, considerate, and always do their best to help when they see my dog struggling with her surroundings. They also do a great job of providing different treatment options and are always very up front with pricing. Highly recommend!

All of them we kindly want to thank ...although it was Diane and Dr Bush names we knew.... in all honesty; the entire staff was polite friendly professional and knowledgeable to say the least, prices were perfect and grateful to receive help to lower our vet visit cost with a free $100 Dingy Dollars Offer that came from another unknown but loyal furever pet owners who'd once frequented their location. With rent and truck note coming at the first of the month, we were so surprised by their love and kindly. They were patient loving and so warm hearted to our Great Dane MuddieMUDD. The entire team is phenomenal! I never have any issues when I board my dogs here and this is the only place I would use.The staff greets you and your pets when you arrive, the check in process is easy and fast, the team handles your pets with absolute care.I have never had an issue with Lakeside and would highly recommend everyone in the Houston area to use them. And they always send the dogs home fresh!!

Excellent experience. My dog had an emergency and they took us to a room in less than five minutes without an appointment. Everyone was caring and patient with our emotions. Our first tech Ian was incredibly gentle and sweet to our baby girl. We were worried about leaving her overnight but felt at ease due to his and everyone else’s vibes and actions. I had to come feed her the next day and the second tech Lety was also very warm and made me feel at ease. The whole team from beginning to end was amazing. Dr. Kuo was genuinely caring for our baby. We hope to eventually bring all three of our dogs here for their annual needs. Thanks to all the whole team!! Y’all rock!!!

I have been using them for years. I even moved out of area but still will drive 35 mins just to take my dogs here. Love Dr. Bush and the other staff. Very knowledgeable and the Doctors will personally call you if their is a concern with you fur baby and tell you what the best options are. Worth it!

I don't write reviews too often, however, I feel so grateful for this clinic right now. I recently came to the very difficult decision to let my pup of 18 years rest. The Lakeside Clinic's staff was incredibly kind and respectful of my decision. They treated my situation with understanding and compassion as they thoroughly walked me through the procedure and the costs. They had a really comforting room specifically for the purpose, and were so very patient throughout the entire thing. Thank you so much to the wonderful vet techs and Dr. Kou for easing the pain of this experience. I highly recommend this clinic if you wish to see your pet treated with the utmost care.

On short notice, their team was able to provide exams and initial vaccinations for five puppies found in a field being prepped for transport.They were extremely kind, compassionate and helpful in a stressful situation. Great team of people that really outdid themselves to get us on the road quickly

Worst experience ever. I just visited today with my cat and I waited for an hour and talked to the doctor for at most five minutes. The construction sound made my cat very stressful and was shaking the entire time. I understand that they are doing construction but they could’ve let me know ahead of time before my visit. But they didn’t say anything because they want to make money I suppose. I don’t know if they actually care about animals wellness and that five minutes cost me $89. I will not come back to this place again for sure. Be warned.

If anyone is browsing the reviews to decide if you want to take you baby here, then this is it. This place is wonderful, and I keep being impressed by how reliable and professional they are.First, the front desk team is amazing in handling customer’s appointments and inquires. I adopted my first puppy, confused about what vaccines needed and how often I should get her one. Maddie was wonderful on following up my email and explaining the vaccines details during a call. And Mia was also super helpful in recent interactions regarding my puppy’s swelling issues. I was so worried, not sure if I should take her to a emergency room since I couldn’t get an appointment till several days later. Then they recommended sending an email with the pictures of the infected areas, and they can let me know if she needed any urgent care. Then it comes to the second amazing point about this clinic.Doctors are professional, knowledgeable and they do care. Dr. Wiltshire replied my email after seeing my puppy’s swelling picture and told me it was not an emergency, I could take her in at the next available appointment. Mia helped me to be able to drop off my puppy and pick her up during a weekday. And after checking her situation, Dr. Wiltshire called me to explain what happened to my puppy, what’s needed and what’s not. WOW. I was impressed. And I did have great experiences with Dr. Bush with my previous visits as well!Lastly, I would like to mention that they communicate well by listing out the charge for each item and let you know in advance, so there is no surprise. And they even emailed me the estimate cost for the treatment with my drop off and potential sedate. I appreciate the transparency and reasonable price.Overall, I would like to say thank you to everyone in Lakeside Animal Clinic! And thank you Kimberly for letting my know that I bathed my puppy too often🤣

Scheduling our new puppy's appointment was so easy. All the forms that were needed were online for us to complete before our visit. This took a lot of stress out of our first visit. Everyone was amazing. The friendly staff greeted us and Teddy was lead into the room right away. I don't recall our techs name but he was fantastic and so good with Teddy. Dr. Wiltshire was phenomenal. You can tell he really loves animals. He answered all of our questions and reassured us we were on the right track. Teddy is our first dog in over 20 years, so we feel like new parents again. Thank you to the entire team. We could not be more thrilled with our choice in vets!

I’ve been taking my fur babies to Dr. Wiltshire since 2007 and hope to God I never have to find a new vet. Everyone at lakeside is ALWAYS consistently lovely! They’re gentle and loving with both the pets and the pet parents. I moved inside the loop and it takes me 45 minutes+ to get to Lakeside and I still will not even consider switching vets. Dr. Wiltshire and his team are amazing and I will never not sing his/their praises!

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!! I was frantically trying to find a vet office for my dog when he was sick and the vet I normally go to told me they could not see him for 2 days. I had never been to Lakeside before but they graciously fit us in and I was there two hours later. Everyone from the front desk to the vets were kind and caring toward my baby and I. All were very knowledgeable and informative about what was going on and with treatment. I am so thankful for them. 10 out of 10!!!

An Excellent Appointment at Lakeside Animal Clinic as usual!They were on time, very engaged in the treatment that they provided for our 11 Year Old Border Collie, Sadie. They prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication, as well as a medication for pain relief. They also immediately called Gulf Coast Vetenary Clinic, to provide an Orthopedic Referral for Sadie’s possible ACL Ligament Damage in Her Left back leg.I would highly recommend Lakeside Animal Clinic to my Family & Friends!

Y’all were extremely friendly. I was in a predicament and had never been there, but Hela had. Long story short, the staff stayed late to accommodate my minor emergency. They were wonderful! Very knowledgeable, Hela received her new Rabies tag, and she received lots of positive attention. For me, being the newcomer, I liked how things were run: the attitude and smiles of the people, the ability on how they answered every question I had and the flexibility of providing Hela the treatment she needed that day with the option to come back… at my convenience,,,and a reminder from them upon my request.With all the above positive feedback, I will most definitely plan on using this veterinarian for all of Hela’s future needs. … besides..She liked their treats!

The worst vet ever . The vet told me my dog had indigestion problems when she actually had a heart problem and she died. Won’t ever recommend this place Now you’re lying what was I supposed to pay you for doing nothing but killing my fur baby because you absolutely did nothing what you told me to give her actually killed her
