Great variety of just about everything. Prices are to the roof.I find this store more expensive than any other grocery stores in the area, their prices are outrageous to say the least. Meat department is ridiculously high in price as well, I recommend shopping around for better deals.

The very unaware and unhelpful Kroger employees all stood around and watched my disabled relative struggle to transfer to all 5 of their electric shopping carts- none of which were plugged in to charge so all had a dead or very low battery- and never offered to help at all. My relative even tried to plug the carts in for Kroger but eventually took the one with most charge back out to their car and left the store for better service and help at the HEB down the road.

I love grocery stores. I usually shop at the heb at clear lake blvd and el Dorado, about a mile from the Kroger. I only needed some bacon and some mushrooms. When I entered the store, I was impressed. It was clean and well stocked. They had bacon on sale! Yay! I picked up cereal because it said that it was on sale too. When I got to the register, nothing rang up on sale. The sale prices were only available with digital coupons? I asked the cashier where to get the coupons, she looked put upon by the question. I put the cereal back. I will go back to Heb. I understand why that store is a madhouse on Sundays, and this one is not busy. The store does look great though. Randalls does the coupons on the app, but the deals are really good. I like Heb best. Exceptional service and reasonable prices.

The gentleman was so ready to go on his break he didn’t realize my friend and I had walked up together. After he had already started ringing her up he looked at me and told me the register was closed right as another customer walked up behind me. At that point I was infuriated because I had been standing there. I handed him my items and told him I didn’t want it anymore which was when he started asking if we were together. The bagger watched all of this happen and didn’t even correct him. He was so in a hurry to go on his break with no replacement he made the store lose a potential customer. It was my first and will be my last time ever going to that location.

Nice Kroger! Not too big not too small. The staff over here is helpful and kind! Good place for shopping and get what you want! :) come and cheers

No stars. The ones with red vests on (Amber and Emily) are constantly talking to each in the aisles instead of helping the cashiers keep the lines down. Asked a cashier about that, was informed that Emily's father is a manager at another location and is constantly late and disappears multiple times a day upstairs.

The romaine lettuce I bought on Tuesday evening was completely brown and covered with spots by Wed. evening. It did not look like that when purchased. The fajita meat was like boot leather, so tough and stringy it could not be chewed. Might I mention, these items are not cheap. I had food poisoning last month, grueling and I am sure it was the chicken breasts from Kroger. It is a long drive over the bridge, but I am switching to Randalls. The prices and quality are better these days. I just can't be throwing my money away and wondering what will make me sick. This store has the worst produce and I don't think they keep the meat at correct temperature. Now the store never seems to have fresh seafood or other meat items in the glass case. Did I mention that I have NEVER shopped there that I am charged the right amount? Usually it is the Buy 5, closeouts, or sale items that don't "ring up" at the right price. Last time my bill was only $3 off (2 items), but the time before was $15 and I had to wait at customer service forever for a refund while my ice cream melted. Also the store management is very sneaky about putting a "look-alike" item in the shelf area or freezer area where a sale item has sold out, so the "look alike" item rings up at 3 X more than the cost of the sale item. Very sneaky. I hate the "buy 5" promos where the store increases the price of the item so you have to buy 4 more things just to get the regular price. The Kroger on El Camino is better run, but that area of Webster has gotten so unsafe and sketchy that I won't go to either Kroger now. The shelves were empty of many items and were not fully stocked, especially for sale items. When I complained I was told that the store tends to run out of things after the weekend. Why not stock the right amount? The aisles are ALWAYS blocked by the youngsters fulfilling online orders, getting in everyone's way. It appears that the store chain values the online shoppers much more than people that are actually shopping in person!

The majority of their employees are always so nice & extremely helpful... no matter if it's checking the back for a particular item is out, nearly out or doesn't look the freshest; coming around to scan heavy items on the bottom of my basket so I don't have to lift them up to the conveyer belt; bringing me a new package of sodas after having several sodas explode when it hit the concrete while exiting the store; reopening a register to help me ring up my $200- 300 worth of groceries when I didn't finish shopping before 9pm; assisting me with locating my energetic & curious son who finds it amusing to scare me & wander off typically in search of candy, toys, seasonal items, or the motorized carts.

Great selections of meat, cheese, vegetables and fruit. They had done some rearrangements in the store, and it looks good. Unbeatable prices and discounts. Great customer service.

I go here because it's close to my home but prefer HEB, as they have lower prices and You don't have to show a stupid card to get the lowest price, which is just another example of corporate tracking that turns customers away from there store...sometimes people just don't want to be hassled about one more thing....a loyalty card....just a tracking device so they can charge more...Bring plenty of money when You shop here!

All the employees are here on this day. But they cannot open the store because leadership is not here. It’s 7:07am and there is no management to be seen. What a piss poor way to run a business. People are outside waiting to get in from the cold. The employees said they will open at 8:00 when management shows up.

El Dorado Kroger is my new favorite grocery. I've been shopping there about 3 months. It's bright and clean. It's big enough to have both basics and specialties but not so giant it takes forever to do my shopping. They have a good number of self-check out stations. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Shout out to Kira in the cheese department. I wanted to create a fancy pizza for a party and she gave me great ingredient suggestions. Also shout out to Chris in the meat department for showing me a Kroger app trick that makes price checking and coupon loading quick and easy.

Clean friendly well stocked. I LIKE the smaller size grocery stores. I just want to buy food, not everything including the kitchen sink.

Don't shop here, they'll charge you the wrong price then make you wait 30 minutes In line and act like it's your fault. Do yourself a favor and go to a Kroger where they have it together and management actually cares

Decent store. Normally I go to HEB, but me wife insists on Kroger. They support our Cub Scout pack through the community rewards program, so I give them 5 stars. ❤️

My son and I were shopping and decided to get a treat from Starbucks. My son ask what are you guys honoring for Black Hidtory month? The employees Cynthia replies nothing with a smirk and we are ok with that we get our order and then Cynthia days "OH yes we offer ice water and it's tap water". My son is an Kroger employee at a different location and her statement was rude and disrespectful and discrimatory because sher say no was sufficient but the extra was not

I’ve been very disappointed lately in this Kroger. I grew up in the area and use to shop here over 8 years ago and always thought it was great. I moved away, and upon returning in 2019, things have been quite different. The quality and variety of product is lacking and just not good, especially in the produce, meat, and seafood departments. I won’t even buy seafood here anymore. Certain produce items are always 1-2 days from expiring, some already going bad. Examples- I’ve bought bagged lettuce that I took home to find was brown and soggy. I’ve bought raspberries several times that ended up having mold on them. The store feels dirty, always seem to be short handed at the registers, and there seems to be an issue with restocking items. You will find much better product at H‑E‑B. I also feel the Kroger at Bay Area & 528 is much better. Just disappointing because I grew up shopping here and it is closest to me.

I've been shopping here since it opened in 1980. I've seen many changes through the years, and it is still my favorite go-to grocery store. If an item isn't on the shelf, they will do their best to get it. Helpful employees.

2021 update Now that curbside pickup is an option, and one I highly recommend, shopping here is a MUCH improved experience as I don't have to deal with finding things that have been moved for no apparent reason other than creating customer dissatisfaction--yay! Doing most of my shopping here now via curbside and will continue to do so as long as it is available.2020-Recently stopped in and things have improved somewhat. And mask wearing is prevalent thank goodness. Not forced to check myself out now and seems like they may have slacked off on constantly moving things to crazy, illogical locations so that you can't find items from one trip to the next. I really preferred this location and Kroger has some items I can't get at HEB and seems to be upping their healthier and organics selections so I will give it a few more tries again now and see if it holds up before deciding to start doing the majority of my shopping here again.

It’s sad when you can’t even buy a laundry basket or a trash basket at the store I’ve never seen a Kroger not have any laundry basket your trash baskets or accessories that you need around your house

Good store, wish they still stayed open 24hrs was really convenient. It's a Kroger just like any other so you need the card to come out ahead, they do have some stiff competition down the street. Probably should increase their health food section around this area. But it is a clean store with a fairly friendly staff.

Shoppers are bombarded every 5 minutes with the speakers blaring "get your vaccine today, and your booster".... Pfizer owns Kroger's airways. Even the workers are sick of it. I'd rather shop at HEB just for that reason.

Took three employees to learn how to process online payment. Manager corey took forever to come downstairs and help and when I told him he needs to teach everyone how to do the online payment because a manager didn't even know. He just cut me off mid sentence said have a good day and walked off back up stairs slowly with his belly hanging out his damn shirt. Cashier said "yeah they need to teach us". Corey obviously don't care and just likes sitting on butt upstairs apparently.

I got there early AM to shop for Thanksgiving. I had my list and tried the Scan, bag and Go. It was an easy experience. I will do againOnly 3 items needed to be scanned at the register, fresh broccoli crowns, mixed nuts and loose sweet potato.
