They make you leave a backpack right next to the podium where the security guard is sitting. What if he or she walks away and your stuff is now unattended and gets stolen? I understand theft is high in the area but if you’re going to have customers leave a backpack or any large bags in the front, allow them to leave it behind the customer service desk where it’s less prone from being stolen! This is one of the reasons why I prefer the Sabo location! They allow you to bring backpacks into the store or any large bags and they’re way nicer too!

This is my go to store especially in the morning as I can stop and buy whatever I need on my way to work. Especially the clearance items. Always something to pique you're interest to buy on sale there.

Terrible treatment of employees and kustomers. The staff is standing around while some random people are verbally threatening and abusing the other employees in self checkout. The sekurity is LITERALLY just a police officer sitting there watching it all go down to see if he's actually needed I guess. You damn near have to fight shopping and working at this trap of a store every trip. And they are waaaaay over priced

This Kroger is absolutely disgusting. It's been a a few years since I've visited this store, because the area is so dangerous. There have been multiple robberies in this Kroger parking lot alone. Unfortunately, I must pass through this area every day to get to work. After what I saw when I ran in for a quick few items, I was disgusted, and will never return. The floors were missing tiles, the freezers look like they haven't been properly wiped down, ever. Missing parts on the bottom of the freezers. Everything was so dirty and grimy.I don't understand why their prices are so high compared to Walmart, while their stores are literally falling apart.

I writing a review so any ordering medication can please check if they have any expired medications. I drop my prescription this week and found out later days that they gave me an expire medication for COVID. Please double check your medication before you leave from Krogers .

I like this Krogers supermarket located at Telephone Rd. and Reveille. It's clean with good merchandise presentation.Krogers always has good produce. I like to buy my bananas there. There is a good selection of meats and fish.I follow the weekly sales that run from Wednesday to Tuesday. I especially like the Buy 5 an Save $5 section of the ad.

It's okay but I wouldn't go to this one though. There were items I wanted but weren't here, and at the time of my shopping experience: there weren't enough cash register attendees available. Kroger is good as long as you have a Kroger Plus Card.

Dirty store from the moment we pulled up. The first problem was there were NO carts. Check my picture of it. Shelves were empty of almost everything. Especially the sale items. It was a terrible idea to even shop here so I wanted to talk to the manager about how dirty the store was. His name is Daniel Richey told the clerk over the phone he already knew there was a problem with the carts. Uh... All the carts were in the parking lot though. He never came out to talk to me. I had more than that to say. But, avoid this store. If you need something they probably will not have it anyways. I left and went to another store and had success finding food.

DISHONEST. I picked up some produce and a few items that were marked on sale. At the register, 0 of 3 sale items rang up correctly. I caught 2 and one got past me, and I paid about $4 more than I should. From now on, I will pick up some produce, and that is all.

Worst experience ever, been coming here for years with no problem. Kroger self checkout is the worst of all but not as bad as their self checkout workers. The black lady in front was shutting me off every time the machine was malfunctioning. She disrespected my mother and I with insults with no reason whatsoever. It is not my problem their self checkout is trash and malfunctioning. She blamed me for their problem. I am a man of respect, I tried to explain the problem, dealt with her insults and yet, I came out as the bad guy. But for sure, it would’ve been a different story if I would’ve fought back.

The vehicle registration at this location is not connected to TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY like the other locations so they cannot verify the information entered by safety inspectors. They only have 1 person working in customer service who needs help that management does not want to give her. Bottom line, consider another place for customer service, vehicle registration. Save alot of time by using nearby HEB which has more modern system for this and better food items.

The store was ok some items not easy to find. Mostly I didn't care for the Harris County Deputy at the self check out. Although he was helpful I would rather a kroger employee assist me. I was a little confused why he was at the self check out working.

Supervisor Brandy was so rude as she bagged my groceries and threw them in the cart. When I had an issue with swiping she only stated we can’t do that here and walked away. Didn’t even try to help whatsoever. Cashier was so sorry and felt bad. Krogers do better with who you have as a supervisor!

5 starts going to my man Benjamin !! He’s basically handle in the whole store by himself! I was in the store for 5 min and kid you not they called him 4 times thru the mic ! He was up and down working hard ! My man deserves a raise ! What a wonderful man

I have been going to the Kroger on Sabo since they opened. Some of the staff that’s been with the store a long time are rude. Employees treat certain customers different and they have bad meat sometimes. The mangers get worse every year. The younger employees are nicer than veterans.

This is my neighborhood Kroger location and I have been coming here for years and years. I have to say this store is not one of the best locations in the city but I know it is because of the demographics in the area (which is sad and a whole conversation for another time and place). The store is generally neat depending on the time you go. Minimal options, but more organic stuff have become available lately. Employees are curteous but overly helpful or polite. Can only enter through the exit after 8 PM and security is usually around. After 9 or so, only self-check out available. And they don't offer mobile to your car orders or a fuel station. Avoid the restrooms as they are usually filthy.*Brittany is the best- always cheery and extra-extra friendly. Mr. Curtis is the manager & keeps it professional.

The service was excellent but the customer service clerk is multi-tasking by herself. I waited half hour to reload my public transportation card. The line was long while ppl wanted scratch offs, money orders, bill payments etc. Manager should check in during peak hours when ppl off work and offer assistance.

♿ This location is friendly to persons with disabilities.The staff was very accommodating and welcome.CONS: The location carries the basics.Nothing fancy or upscale.PROS: It's definitely not like a signature Store, but you can find everything for basic shoppingand the bakery has a good selection.The meat counter is decent.

Kroger was not crowded. Many of the workers were busy stocking the shelves and unloading produce from trucks. I love Kroger stores, but this one does not reflect the standards of the others. I have had five or six negative experiences at this Kroger, inclusive of rude checkers, an insinuation I had not paid for a ham, refused service at the customer service counter. I only go because it's convenient.

Always a good shopping experience. But don't pay bills in Kroger. The line is always 30 minutes to an hour long.
