Aril 25th Update: I went to Kroger's late at like 10:00pm and I needed ground pork, because I was making Chinese dumplings. I couldn't find just regular ground pork and I saw a guy working in the meat and seafood section just cleaning the machines; I do believe his name is Parker, and I asked him if he could help me figure out what I could do and what kinds of pork there was because the ground pork have all different flavors. Well, He actually took the time to explain to me which ones are which so now I know exactly which ones I need for certain dishes. He then went in the back and checked to see if they had any regular ground pork (now keep in mind I didn't even ask him to do that he did that of his own free will) because the one spot where what I needed was empty. Sadly when he couldn't find me any of the basic ground pork he took me right over to the beef section and found me a pork/Angus beef mix that was perfection. He took 10 minutes to help me find what I needed....and Parker, you knocked it out of the park (ironic that your name is Parker and that you knocked it out of the park). My kids loved them and we are now naming them Parker's Dumplings after you.I want to bring this up to daytime & nighttime management that this gentleman deserves a raise. He didn't have to do what he did and with a smile plus a pep in his step, but he did. He could have pretended like he couldn't hear me because he was cleaning with a high pressure washer, which kudos to you at Kroger's for making sure that your machines are spotless and ready to go (I watched him for 2 minutes before I got the nerve to ask him to help me). Anyways, give him a raise. When I think of Kroger's I want to think of people like Parker who go above and beyond even late at night. He was probably exhausted but he was so nice to me and I will never forget him. Heck I want to go back at that time just so I can see him again and thank him. Management, please give him a $2 raise minimum. It doesn't seem like a lot but it is a lot. I would say $10 but we both know that this is Texas and that just doesn't happen. He deserves $15 an hour minimum. Because I have shopped at your store every single day for the past 8 years and I want more of himFrom your cart people to your checkout staff at the self-scan (don't you dare remove them. I have anxiety, and we're still in a pandemic and it's safer this way.) Did I mention that Parker was wearing a mask? He cares so much about you the shopper and the business itself that he's willing to the uncomfortable just to make sure that that machine has no viruses or anything in it. Same with our big time checkout girlie. When I didn't have my phone with NFC and I only had cash & the self-checkout said it couldn't take cash she made it happen. Thank you. I'm sorry I don't know your name. If you're still reading this dear reader, and it's not just management, go here. Seriously. The even have a health food section in aisle 2 and if you're looking for wonton wrappers you will find them there and they are perfection. I used to have to drive all the way to This Asian market and pay an arm and a leg just to make pork dumplings once a month and now I can make it at Kroger's thanks to Smart ordering.Post Easter Update: just scored almost $100 worth of Smithfield Bone in Ham (pretty paper kind) for less than $20 bucks! Yesterday they were $46 each — today they are $9.87! Always go to Kroger the day after a holiday! It's Kroger. Who doesn't love their local Kroger store (okay I take that back there are a few up north in Ohio that are sketchy but not the newer ones down here! they are to die for!) did I mention that if you go in towards closing (8-ish for me) & you can get an enormous 40-piece sushi for like half the price? They're so freaking amazing. I'm pretty sure they make the variety of rolls at the location ( I would assume they would have to because it's one of those things that you can't just let sit overnight and then sell due to the seaweed wrap absorbing the moisture, and the whole "raw seafood aspect."

We came to pick up some groceries. The store was clean and well-stocked. The store was busy but still comfortable shopping around.Their hot food item area has some delicious options. Unfortunately, we were not here for that, so next time, perhaps.Price-wise, the groceries and produce here are reasonable. Also, staff are friendly and very helpful.

I will no longer be shopping at this Kroger store. The products available are no longer desirable. Prices are higher but quality is lower. Produce is much better quality at Walmart Neighborhood Stores and Randall's. Level of service is has decreased as well.

It's an older location, but it's doing the job. My parents shopped here and I shopped here when I lived in Houston. As a visitor, this is still my location of choice. The produce is great here as is the deli section. I also find their wine collection to be well-versed. The staff is cordial too.If there's a "down", it's the aisles. They can get a little tight, but it's not unshoppable.

I like this Kroger in South Post Oak Road. Kind of smaller than my usual shopping but it has friendly services.

I don't appreciate the people standing in the isle blocking you trying to sell At&t . When they can't get their way, they harrass you and I don't appreciate it. I'm there to do my grocery shopping not be annoyed by salespeople. Trust and believe I'm calling the manager.

I have purchased my groceries and the manager said that if customers leave stuff behind they will automatically put them up regardless to the fact that it was already paid for. So, I couldn't find my receipt and the manager said once items are forgotten by customers they and himself are not responsible for it and to repurchase them. What a SHAME!!!!!

This store is not worth anything anymore. They screwed up my delivery order very badly and customer service and support will not do anything about it. Instead of charging my ebt card they charged my bank card the full amount of my purchase which now i have to pay a bill late because of them.

I usually go to the Randalls because this Kroger is always a nightmare. The parking lot is chaotic and too small for the businesses that share it, and the store is never well staffed. The lottery ticket machine is in a place where you can't get to it because the always long line for the courtesy booth is right in front of it. I am often approached by people asking me for money when I'm shopping in there. Today, there was trash on the floor in the self check out that wasn't picked up, even though several employees were standing around that area, and I slipped on some of it walking out and fell on my knee. I live a block away from this store and will never go there again. It's the worst Kroger I've ever been to. Randalls is just a one minute drive down the street if you live in the area. It's not as well stocked, but it's well run, less chaotic, and worth it to avoid this Kroger.

The self checkout attendant decided she needed to watch me and pretend she was looking at the eclipse glasses instead of watching others that were probably stealing while she was occupied with watching me. 🤷🏾♂️

Rotten meat... rotten attitudes. I have been shopping here for the better part of 30 years and they have gone WAY down hill in recent years. As soon as you walk into the meat section, you can smell that something just isn't right... plus the management has no control of there staff. Today I forgot something in the middle of being checked out and I told the checker that I would be right back with another item and she was welcome to serve the next customer. Less than two minutes later I returned to find a sacker returning my items to the shelves.. When I questioned the two about the situation, the accosted with foul language and ghetto attitude and refused to apologize. I will never shop here again, there are several other superior grocery options close by including HEB and Randall's. Steer clear of this place!

Again I tried shopping Kroger off of Post Oak and always spend 2 to 3 hundred dollars each time but the cashier put damageable item in middle of can goods. Cookies now with many crumbs, potatoe chips crushed, cake turned upside down with all frosting stuck to plastic cover, drops expensive soft vegetables on the counter like they are can goods... if you like smashed goods this is the best place to shop.

Do not download the app it will take your money and your orders will not be there and then they won't give you back your money until 3 to 5 days later nor help to get you your order there's nothing they can do. I was on hold for 40mins then on the phone for over an hour after just for them to do this to me. All my money I had for the month now have to go days without hope it really gets back in my bank account within that time frame. I will never do mobile orders!!! I will never shop Kroger again!!! Long time customer gone!

I’ll change the rating when y’all stop allowing people to sell internet/electricity providers at your store. Really tired of trying to shop and getting roped in to a conversation that is a waste of time for both parties. I’ve tried to ignore them or politely ask them to just let me shop, but they’ve made me uncomfortable when I do.. Im sure, like me, most people are just trying to grab the essentials and go.

Guess its just a 4th of July thing but the store was a mess and someone broke a bunch of wine. I uploaded a picture. To clarify the store was being stocked yet had trash on the floor that was not related to stocking the shelves. The employees weren't very happy either.

Great experience here! My care team was Sharonda, Asia, Courtney, Alexis, and Audrey and they were all super nice and did a wonderful job working with my 3 year old daughter. Will definitely return here next time!

I'm not a disabled person, but even that way, it gets really hard to move around your stores! The isles seem to always be busy with merchandise everywhere, stockers all over the place, and even pallets full of stuff left in the middle of the walk isles... how do you pretend people get around? It's just insane how every time I go there is just an awful experience to move around and try to get to the items I need. This is first of all is unsafe/hazard, secondly it's a frustration, and third is an inconvenience and difficult experience for anyone with disabilities! Have you ever thought about that?I worked for Kroger back in my high school years, and everything was so organized, the customers were number one priority, and employees were trained well, to behave professionally, friendly and helpful... now it's all a chaos going to any of your stores. What's the deal with all merchants...? We all know you are trying to catch attention to your products being on the way, but it's gotten to a ridiculous obstruction nowadays! And, I will leave the all-confusion number of prices for each item you sell for another occasion!!!Thank you.

Checked out today, and the cashier had trouble with my kale. The barcode wouldn't scan through the bag. She then pokes a hole in the bag with her finger. I stop her and tell her to just use the 4 digit code which is easily readable through the bag. She lies and says there is no code. I grab the bag, and easily read the code to her. She proceeds to tell me she didn't have her glasses and I shouldn't go to her line anymore. Like her not wearing something she needs to do her job is my problem?I have been in that store thousands of times, going back before the millennium. I am one of your most loyal location customers.Someone check Jackie's attitude and work habits. Poking holes in produce bags makes them not work at keeping our produce fresh.

This Kroger location is by far one of the worst I’ve seen and experienced. I’ve only come here a few times since moving to the area. First off, the parking lot is wild, lots of questionable activity going on.When I entered the store, I noticed an odd odor. Then I quickly felt how incredibly warm the entire store felt compared to other grocery stores. I asked an associate if they’re having hvac issues, she said no. Every time I pulled something out of a cooler, it felt warm. It is only May! I’d be concerned for food safety here. Then a moment that broke my heart, another elderly customer, also using a cart asked if I could go to front as the battery on her cart had died. She said she could not walk. I did so immediately, but no associate seemed to care. I told two or three associated before one called out to Customer Service. I returned to the aisle where elderly customer to inform her someone is coming. As I continued shopping, I found myself frustrated at the lack of selection, empty shelves and poor looking meat dept. When I was done, I waited for 20 min to pay. No one bagged my groceries. Overall, the quality of food and items have seemed to wane at this Kroger.I’m happy to share these notes with corporate. I hope they can get their act together but I will not be returning.
