Usually shopping experience is o.k. but today when I left this store I was rather livid. My Friend placed our items together in one shopping cart and we had less than 20 items per shopper or apiece. 1st Customers telling us we had too many items because the Cashier startef complaining to them i assume but each of those shoppers had over 20 items and at least with the person she was checking out had way way more. When I explained we could read and per person we had 20 items or less she called a Manager who said the same thing and I viewed that as very unprofessional because she said " But its per basket". Yes and the ladies ahead had way more. So needless to say the food was left right there and our cash money wasn't spent. I'd rather pay the higher prices at Kroger to be treated with some respect.

This place is like a grocery flea market! Really nice fresh vegetables (I would say double up on the avocados from now on, though...) tons of meats and seafoods, but the prices are what surprised me the most! It was crowded but I can totally understand why! I'll be back again and again...

I want to give a shoutout to Ms.Audrey she was scanning my ítems at the register today 03/17/23, she is fast and efficient. Very patient & kind. I have a very big family and always have to take 2-3 carts worth of food & my experiences are not always great with the other cashiers. Ms.Audrey has made me change my out look of this place. Please valué this hard working employee because those are hard to find. She should be a trainer or get a raise. Wonderful employee!

I recently went to Joe V,was looking for Minced Chicken. The Meat dept lady just pointed where it could be at,it was not there.I was in line,one of your employees was behind me with Minced Chicken, he was going home. I was going to get out ofline to get the chicken . He offeredhis,and took my bone in chicken back. My husband &I would like to say,your employee (Victor)is an exceptional young man

You can catch me at the cake and pies area near the milk at the back. The strawberry and apple struder bites be hitting the spot at 12 night. Check out the goodies below i got on camera. Before covid the prices were really affordable to just about any income earner who needed some food on there table. Now since prices did increase its kinda choosey when selecting snacks. Overall we rarely come across a rude cashier. It's the people tho that be actin crazy. They have sanitizer and towels at the front. Just becareful walking in the parking lot. They be speeding through the alley.

Such a very good place to go shopping but there’s a problem first of all I recommend going at night because there isn’t not a whole bunch of people but at night there aren’t many cashiers open and some item missing when it’s at night in the store while in the day there’s a variety of food and people. Also,in the day there need to be reinforced the rule of 6ft apart overall somewhat decent.

Horrible customer service . Hours are on Google for a reason . If you put that you close at Two , you close at Two. If you choose to close earlier simply update your Hours .I understand it's a Holiday but your running a Buisness. Imagine driving 25 mins and the store closed there Doors to enter 30 minutes early , unacceptable in my opinion .

A few items — hand soap, pancake mix, etc — are limited to only the Hills Country Farm and HEB brands. However, there is plenty of variety for most products, especially the essentials such as bread, eggs, milk, etc. It was very crowded on Monday evening (5pm), and it was hard to navigate around the store without bumping into people! You will need to bag your own groceries when checking out. Overall a great store to go to when you want HEB quality at an affordable price. But if you prefer a more peaceful, stress-free shopping experience without fighting the chaotic crowds then you should shop elsewhere.

I went on a Sunday. Weekends are always BUSY all day from open to close! This Joe V's had a good selection and was very well maintained. I was happily surprised to see that they were able to keep up with the crowd and keep all the shelves stocked! Usually the majority of the Joe V's I have been to struggle with this and the she's are always low to completely empty! I highly recommend this place! Although the parking was insanity be ause it was so busy.

Easiest way to describe this place is a budget HEB. Owned by them already, you'll find it's much like an HEB but not as clean or as nice. And multiple items missing labels in the produce section. That was a bit annoying. The pricing seems to be very good though and they had some really cool bundle deals, like a 10+ pound box of meat stuff for only $20. They did have some items too that I've never seen at an HEB also so I'll give them that.

Went to buy a jar of craft mayonnaise and couldn't find one down the aisle. But they did have about 15 pallets of it on top of the aisles. I asked if they could get one down for me and all I got was "sorry no, but you can come back tomorrow, they will bring it down tonight." Bad customer service doesn't even beging to describe what I went thru. Never coming here again!

I love the prices here. The produce is very fresh, compared to other markets I have visited. For the amount I money I spent, I am very happy with my 'haul of groceries ☺. As an update, be sure to go early because it gets really busy and packed with customers. This morning I was there about 10am, and it was already getting super crowded in there! No new updates after today's visit. Still the freshest produce and sweetest oranges! The only update today are the elevated prices! The eggs were so expensive I was forced to leave them there. We are dealing with high demand and low inventory. What we can get will require more 💰. Covid backlash.....This is still the best place to shop for this area.Update: this store is still the best place to shop price-wise, and goods wise. It has surpassed Walmart for my business!Update: Still the best discount market for all grocery needs. Thank God for an affordable market to shop for food and other goods! Thank you HEB and JoVies!Hope this store never folds!Sales galore this week, from meat to produce!Favorite place to shop!Get there as early as possible! Always crowded. A few more should be built in different parts of town for the convenience of loyal customers. The prices are very good compared to other markets! Come through owners and developers!

I notice Joe V's raising thier prices on all food products. The food is not fresh as they advertise. You also have to bag your own items at the register. If you want to add another pack of water that you don't have on your carts they expect you to get it and make the line again. Some of the cashier have a nasty attitude and terrible customer.When stepping outside with a cart full of items they tend to lock them just so they can harass you later checking to see if you didn't steal any items. Manager is a racist she should not be working here with customers and laughing in their face. She has an ugly attitude she needs to be fired.The worst experience I've had so far I feel that they should shut this joe v down.

Great Selection and Awesome Bargains on many of the same items found at other More Expensive Grocers! Associates seem Well informed, Friendly, Attentive and Helpful! There were also Multiple Express Lanes open, adequate to Efficiently accommodate the amount of patrons! The "Contact-less" Cash Pay at the Associate Attended Checkout Lanes, is also very Convenient!

Joe V's is my Happy Place!! I can find almost everything I need, cheaper than any other grocery chain I've seen in 40 years in the Houston area, all in one place. I love the $20 boxes of different meats they put together. Great for BBQs!

We love the sushi place in Joe V's! I am totally crazy about the chicken teriyaki bowls. Well worth the money!
