I came to this place because online it says they close at 6pm I made it here at 5pm and the door was locked. The OPEN sign was ON waste of time drove here for 30 minutes just for them to be closed. There was someone inside too. The sign also had different closing times 5:30pm I made it before!!! Fix your time online.

Too many other fish store options out there to risk buying fish here. Definitely quarantine your fish when you get home and treat them immediately for full dose before introducing them to your tank. I've purchased a few Peacocks here. Prices are not expensive. It's just the place needs some TLC. I'm not bashing the place, I just won't be going back.

I got to the shop and when I was ready to pay I had my moms credit card ,he made me call my mom and ask for a picture but that isn’t even the worst part about it,he took a picture of my moms id with his phone and I asked him what was he doing taking a picture of my moms id and gave me an attitude and said “don’t worry about it” was extremely rude and it smells like cigarettes

This is probably the best fish store because of the prices. I haven't seen any other places that has nice exotic fish for a really good price. He has fish tanks, fish, and birds for sale. The place has a 90s vibe but it is still somewhat nice. He is a very nice person. I feel like if he had more fishes this would be my NUMBER ONE store. Best fish stores I have seen is Inwood Aquarium and 360 Aquarium. Inwood Aquarium has VERY good prices and 360 Aquarium has more things and fish but prices are HIGH but the fishes are pretty nice so I guess it equals out maybe.

Went to buy exotic fish here and the prices are low and very affordable compared to other LFS. Not the fanciest place in the world, but it's what you pay for. Owner is very down to earth and can be friendly if you act right and thick skinned. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good fish on a budget.

This stores has the most beautiful looking discus I have ever seen. I drove 40 mins one way from south houston to here and it is worth the drive. The owner is super cool and nice. All fishes in tank look super healthy and good.it sucks the owner does not do a lot of marketing and I have to find him after buying overpriced fishes from other stores and some of them die.and like everyone else says, the price of fishes at this store is unreal.

Some of the merchandise has been there since the 90s, could use better lighting and a move inviting atmosphere. I didn't see a single fish species labeled correctly and most was unpriced if so. Found a cool aquarium background but wouldn't recommend livestock from the looks and smells of it.

My rating is on customer service only. I called because it’s a long drive for me to see if they had cardinal tetra he said “I have tetra! You come and see!” Then hung up on me. 😑 I was looking for other fish also but he hung up so I’ll go to 360 instead.

No matter what anybody says this guy has been here since i was a child been selling to my family for 10+years.. Always had good quality fish and reasonable prices... And even if the google maps glitches and says he's permanently closed he's always open unless he has to leave early to tend to his son or family problems....

Really really I mean really cheap prices compare to all the rest of the other places I been to.. yes it’s small yes it’s messy but have gotten tons of fish here and never had one die... and the owner is really cool and explains pretty much everything to you about the fish... very knowledgeable.. ps he fixes canisters if you ask him

Saw so many great fish, I’m tempted to buy a flower horn for 100$. Saw they sell neon tetras for under 2$. I would recommend this store to friends

This is a small business type setup with no frill and absolutely no chill on presentation. If you are okay with that, I'd recommend a visit for some healthy and well priced fish. I mostly checked out the freshwater livestock which I'd say is 70% of the store. Most of his fish are community and he has a decent cichlid collection of semi-aggressive to aggressive fish. He does keep various Flowerhorns if you are trying to source those. He has your usual dry goods (foods/meds/supplements) and tank necessities like lights, hoods, pumps, filters, etc. to get you set up and going. Lighting can be improved in here and a lot of the tanks aren't going to best display his fish he keeps. However, I haven't lost a single fish I've bought from him yet, for my tanks or others.Owner was nice to me and said he's been in the fish game a long time, way before many others. Would go there again because of it's proximity and I enjoy supporting small business. Keep your expectations as low as his prices and you'll be fine.
