This place is amazing! The drive can be far out if you’re in any other part of the city, but well worth the drive. I recommend this store to anyone from a novice to an experienced grower. They have latest trends of living soils, and amendments. Fertilizers, nutrients, tents, lights, pots. You name it, they have it. The people who work here help you with your question’s, and are very knowledgeable. Are you looking for a new hobby? Well come on down to the hydro shack, and get everything for your brand new soon to be self efficient grow garden. Thank you guys for having a gem of a store! One of a kind place!

Very friendly guy, nice houston store. I got a great used 24' ladder at great price which is not their normal products or services but they had them stored and had been used to help in hurricane recovery. Rest of store looked great but I didn't need anything else living couple hours away and only visiting for the day. Try them out!

The shop was well organized however most items did not have items in them or the items were mixed in with like items so you could not know the price. When you asked for the price the employee was unsure and made a price up. No restrooms! I drove a long ways to get their, and had to find a local gas station to use a restroom. They have displays of of plants in indoor greenhouses …..most look in very bad health which would not encourage me to buy what they are selling. Maybe they are just bad with plants? Overall I guess I was expecting so much more and they fell flat on my expectations. I would go back as they are the closest to me and they do have what I need. The employees are willing to help you find what you need, and carry things to your car. Which I appreciate very much. Great customer service!

First off I love this place and love the people who work here. I live in Humble, but travel down just for this store. Raven and the whole team is so informative, she helped with CBD for my dog that actually worked, what trimmers are good for what reason, and the other gentleman helped me out with my indecisiveness on which Coco Blend to buy even though I’ve been true to Batch64 Pioneer for a long time. Half the time I know what I want and need, but nonetheless they’re there for any questions and it feels like family which I love. The store is clean and organized, they also keep great product in stock. I’d love to post some pics of my tomato’s but they’re far to large to showcase, but they’re large thanks to the crew here!

If you are looking for a place with lots of Knowledge about Plants Food Nutrients whether Hydroponics or soil, this is you place to go. The prices are great, The staff is friendly, The Location is a short hop skip and a jump away. Thank You HydroShack you all have been great! You are my only Go To now! We were very excited to check this place out, interested in doing a DIY set up. The lady with short blonde hair was very unnecessarily rude when my fiancé asked for some advice on how to set it up, said she couldn’t help him and walked away when he was in the middle of a sentence to greet the next customers that came in and never said another word to us. It was just surprising to be treated that way when all we wanted was some information as we are new to this.

I've been coming to the Hydroshack for over three years and have always found the prices to be competitive. The overall condition of their "shack" is VERY CLEAN and extremely organized!!!!! I can always rely on a knowledgeable and friendly staff when I come to visit. I want to point out again how clean and organized this place is, unlike some other shops I've been to around town.

They carry an abundance of products, tents, inline fans, grow medium, nutrients, lights, cbd, fittings, racks the list goes on and on.I like that they have displays of the products they carry and put them to use for all to see.The staff is amazing! First time I walked in I was greeted with a big welcome and smiles. I did not feel pressure to purchase anything.Here is the best part of Hydroshack... the knowledge that the staff has combined with the fact that they are eager to share it with us, Makes this place truly a hidden gem for us.RAVEN IS MY GO TO GAL!She will take the time to listen to you, and then she will give you advice on her experiences. The girl behind the counter was extremely nice, personable, funny and knowledgeable. Maybe people caught her on an off day. We all have those. I was impressed with my purchases. I will return.I retuned today and had a complicated split payment purchase and ended up doing a complicated exchange. She and the guy working there didn't bat an eyelash. They did not make me feel like I was being one of "those" customers. Definitely will return. It is refreshing to know that good customer service has not gone entirely by the wayside.

Exceptional customer service! The gentlemen working on Monday 2/19/18 was more than helpful with all of my questions. When asked for honest opinions he definitely went above and beyond. I am glad to see that stores like this thrive and do well. From their reviews you can't go wrong here. Def come by and take a look at their supply of nutrients and supplies. Prices are marked fair but, surely you can find cheaper online. But, you can't find this type of A+ quality service when ordering stuff online!

I wish I could rate them 6 stars! I have had nothing but great experiences the three times I have visited. Price wise they are very reasonable. I'm sure you could get things cheaper online, but you won't get the benefit of their extensive knowledge! I have asked so many random questions and gotten great, detailed answers for every one. And everyone is so nice! Including the dogs :-)

I came here on the recommendation of a friend and, wow, this place is awesome! It has everything one needs to get growing and yielding. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! It was really some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Also, the grow room is really cool to walk through and admire. I will definitely be returning!

I shopped here a couple of times thought it was a great place until today. Went in to buy a kit they charged me $50 and this over priced tester. Went back to get a refund on the tester 20 mins later. Just to see the two ladies selling the same kit I just bought to some else cheaper. Now I feel like they over charged me for the tester also. I hope management fixes this.

This place is great. I wish the street it was on wasn't like driving through a war zone filled with pot holes but other than that. I've met the owner and his son. They are always welcoming and will answer any question you have. They also sell CBD products that my wife swears by. Prices are spot on and atmosphere is inviting. Don't ever close!!!
