I took my female maltipoo, Charlie, in today to get groomed. It has been a while since we had her groomed & she was matted in some places. They did a fantastic job on her! Groomingdales is under new management so give them a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I’ve taken my babies to Groomingdales Spaw for their fur appointments a few times now. Each visit has been pleasant. I know my puppers are treated well because they arrive and leave happy, and their grooms/cuts are always so nicely done.

Took my doodle in to get groomed and she has never looked so good!!! My baby was in rough shape very matted but Missy worked with her and got them out without having to shave her (I appreciate that so much)!! You can tell that they take pride in their work and care about your pet!! I 100% recommend groomingdales spaw to anyone with a fur baby!!!

Did a great job, staff is very helpful and friendly. 10 out of 10 experience. I Have been to a few places in the local area and no one was able to do as good of a job on my dogs.

What an amazing place! Our dog Sadie tends to be skittish. These folks were calm and sweet and treated her like a princess. Took care of her shedding and nails. She is so soft now!

Dropped off three of my dogs and two of my in-laws dogs here. Three of which wound up with ear infections. One came out with an injured tail that bleeds and makes a mess every time she wags it and bangs it against anything to reopen the wound. And another was still dirty; he felt oily and left dirt on my finger nails when I gave him butt scratches minutes after picking him up.We will never go back and you already know I’m warning everyone I know about avoidingthis place. It’s not worth the vet bills.*Edited to add* In response to the “owner” I have been in your shop. You’re my first and only negative review. And for good reason.

My dog Harley has been groomed and bordered at Groomingdales since he was a puppy 6 years ago. They are like his second family. His care is absolutely 💯 awesome. He is very excited when he see me pack food in his backpack because he knows where he is going.

My fluffy "dood" came out of daycare/boarding with a couple mats and they went above and beyond to keep from shaving him. The cut they gave him still looks cute weeks later. I'll definitely be back and would 100% recommend.

Only place I board my 2 dogs (Princess and Bella). They care for my pups as if they’re family. And the cost is very reasonable!!!

First time customer here and they really amazed me!!! My miniature poodle came home smelling fresh and he looked amazing. The staff were very friendly and really nice. They made sure he was comfortable before and after the service. Ian was his groomer and took his time with my fur baby. I can’t recommend them enough!!!

Been a client for 10+ yrs & they take good care of my pet here. We started cutting our pet ourselves last March & given we had a busy last few wks, decided to bring her here for a doggie-day . She received a bath, cut & nails drummled but I find $72 bucks (not a specialized or Cocker cut) is rather expensive, especially given it was $40 dollars before for just a bath + nails. I was told it's because she's a Spaniel but we don't get a Spaniel cut, which takes precision + more time. Instead, due to my allergies, we shave her low like a Beagle & leave the cocker ear. Ears were cut way too low but overall clean & looked good. Prob make this a 2 times a yr "Spa" visit for our pet & continue maintaining her at hm. Again, great staff just rates have gotten very pricey.

I dropped my dogs off in the morning. They called me around 2:30 to say my dogs were ready and that we needed to pick them up by 3 o’clock. Not even five minutes later they call me back saying that my dog was bleeding badly from his claw come to find out his nail was fractured and the quick of his claw is out and showing. They gave us a powder to put on his nail to stop the bleeding and said he will be fine. Once he got home, he continued to bleed. He was not acting normal and wouldn’t even eat. I told them that I needed to take him to the vet. I was told that they will not be paying for the vet because they don’t know how it happened even though it happened under their care. The vet cost is 550 they need to sedate him so they can fix his fractured claw. I was also told that the owner has not been there for a few months and that she doesn’t even want to talk to the customers so I had to speak with the owners son. They are not taking responsibility for their mistake and now my dog is suffering because of them

I would be hard pressed to take my dogs to anyone else. Owner is very knowledgeable and even diagnosed that one of my dogs may be allergic to chicken. He doesn't get hot spots after that diet switch. Very busy on the weekends so make the appointment early or choose a week day.

Groomingdales has never failed! I called on Saturday for Appt next week and they said hey, you can come in tomorrow for Parker and Pixie! What? Two dogs already that quick! Well, dropping the two dogs off, I explained to the owner, Chantale that I had another dog 15 1/2 years old with a skin situation, and she said bring him in and we’ll do the best we can! On top of that, she said that she would personally groom him as soon as possible and call us to pick him up before the other two! Wow! All three of them look awesome! And the older dog went to his vet for a scheduled appointment today and said it was the best Grooming job that he’s ever seen! He was so impressed with how she carefully groomed him, considering his skin condition! Woohoo!

My dog, Buddy, is occasionally a nightmare for people to handle. He's a whirlwind of energy and gets feisty, like most Heelers. The staff at Groomingdales, though, immediately developed a rapport with him. I spent the day anxious that I'd get a phone call that Buddy had pooped on the grooming table, or that he'd been a tasmanian devil, ripping through the salon. But when I got the call, it was just to tell me he was ready to be picked up. And he came out incredibly happy and smelling really nice. Let's be real. How often do dogs smell nice? Not just "okay" but actually nice? I'm happy, he's happy, we're all happy.

Horrible experience they did everything BUT what I asked them to do with both of my dogs. I asked them to leave top hair on doodle and to place poofs on paws and tail they shaved him head to toe. The shitzu they cut all of her hair where she once had a pony tail. Horrible horrible service. They said they called me, I was home all day, they did reach me at 3 for pick up. The new payment system locked my bank card for fraud. When I asked for the owner another employee was given to me over phone not owner. I was then told the owner was not in and hadn’t been for a while. It shows. Do not take your fur babies here, they do what they want to with your pets. Lastly they didn’t let them out for potty breaks nor did they give them water.

What a place for my dog. Caring. Quality work. Careful explanation. Groomed the way you ask. Loving to all the dogs, even the aggressive pups that come in. I have been coming here for years. Never disappointed. Talk to Chantale, the owner, and in thirty seconds you will know three things:1. She's an experienced, knowledgeable groomer. When you see her work you will know she is talented too.2. She loves dogs. All dogs. Old dogs to puppies, big ones, little ones. Most days you find her dogs, the giant Old English Sheepdogs (Tank and Shiner) as well as her Poodle (Preston) running around behind the counter greeting everyone. That's how I know them so well. Ambassadors so to speak.3. She will not do anything to cause discomfort or pain to any dog in her care. There is a sign in her shop, pictured below that this business lives by without exception...... go read it now, them come back here. All the employees are the same.toward the animals. Loving, gentle and experienced.I have heard her say "We are just not the groomer for you" if the customer wants their dog, de-matted with a sharp tool that is meant for one or two mats behind an ear or on a tail when the whole dog is matted. (I know, because I am one of the people she explained this to when I brought my Shih Tzu in for grooming a little past the appropriate time for a grooming (six weeks too late). She carefully and patiently explained about how the process pulls on the skin, the chance of cuts and clumps pulled out with too many mats and that the dogs comfort comes first. Always. She drilled it into me, in a kind polite way. That's when she showed me the sign posted on her wall, it is the first thing you should see walking in. I posted a picture of it below. She added that the fee for de-matting time wasn't as important as the dog's comfort and trust. She will refuse dogs who are sick, too pregnant, or who have owners who want something done that is not in the animals best interest. I have seen her twice disinvite customers with the polite "We are not the groomer for you" line. Once while holding and loving on the woman's dog, she apologized to the dog for not being able to groom him/her. At the same time offering one last time to shave and start a beautiful coat that would be back in four to six weeks and offering to take $10 off the price. She told me after the woman left the offer was enticement to save the dog from the next groomer the lady would go to who would want the money at the expense of the dog's comfort.I am getting wordy here but another indication of Chantale's character....She grooms some dogs with homeless owners without charge. I know this because I saw her give a man back his dog and he cried over her generosity saying he could stay in a hotel that night now. She told him to come back when the dog needed to be groomed again. She moved me too. She asked if I was OK because my eyes watered up at the kindness. I offered to pay for the homeless dog's groom. She refused saying "the dog needed grooming and I am just glad he brought her in so I could help".Third time I am mentioning the sign below. Read it and know that Chantale lives it every day. I have seen it for six plus years.Read the last line. Let it soak in. Take all the time you need. Your dog deserves this kind of groomer.I would not take my dog anywhere else. Ever

I am so disappointed to have put my puppy ☹️ in the hands of these irresponsible people I chose them because they are closer to my house my puppy is only 5 months old and I took her to cut her nails and trim her hair from her private parts and When I picked her up, they gave her to me shaved without any hair. I cried when I saw her because I never told them to do that to her and they cut her skin. My puppy is very sad, she doesn't want to eat, she just walks sadly under the bed, she doesn't want anyone to touch her. and my girl is very sad because she was the one who combed her hair now she looks so bad and they don't say anything about it but if my puppy doesn't grow her hair back I sue them for irresponsible

I called and spoke with the manager the day before I dropped my dog off and notified them that my dog Kobi was matted. Instead of telling me that Kobi was too matted for them to cut her hair they made up this story that she tried to bite 4 of their employees. Kobi had never been accused of biting at any pet smart she has been too to get groomed. When I went in to get herI felt racially profiled because the girl peaked out as of she was scared of me. I am a mother and solider I would not ever put my life in jeopardy because you wouldn’t cut my dogs hair.

Took my cattle dog to get de-shedded. He can be a bit temperamental so I took my basket muzzle with him for their safety. They said he was so good they didn't need it. He looked so good afterwards and the staff was super attentive to his health problems.

I didn't want to complain about my dogs experience here because it literally won't bring her hair back... BUT its really disappointing.... I paid 65$ plus tipped, but when I finally got home and really got to inspect her haircut, not only did they shave my entire dogs body, which I told them not to do- even gave an inspiration picture of how I wanted the groomer to cut her hair. As well as the haircut on her face and around her mouth is choppy and uneven. I could've got some clippers and did this hot choppy mess myself. Will not be returning back to this establishment.

I take my 2 dogs here to get their nails cut for $20 and they get the job done fast. You don't need to make an appointment for nail cutting either, they take walk ins.
