I’ve been coming to this groomer since they’ve been in business. I adopted a new dog since my Coffee had passed. Is the first time i adopt and Audi is an extremely nervous dog. He won’t let anyone touch him other than me. The groomers here help me find ways to groom him even Audi is super difficult. The pricing here is beyond reasonable. Every dog is different and will behave differently. But one thing I know for sure is that the groomers here are kind to all the dogs that are brought in and I think that’s most important in finding a groomer. Not to say they are really skilled and my babies always come out looking great.

My mother have been taking her dog for the past two years to Good Dog Grooming Shop.Last Tuesday (01/04) after the whole grooming session, her shitzu was acting strange, not moving, not eating, not drinking.Then she realized that the dog had fever, she picked her up and noticed that her leg and part of chest was burned.This is a small shitzu, 11 years old.The people at GDGS not even mention the incident, which is what infuriates me the most.Be careful.

I've been coming here for a few years, never really had a problem until today. Yesterday I had brought my dog Joey in for a bath. After picking up my dog I noticed he was squinting his eyes all the time, and called the shop, the person told me it was most likely due to shampoo issue and that it should be resolved within a short time. Come morning it did not resolve and I took my dog to the vet and he was diagnosed with corneal ulcer, that was due to the groomer getting shampoo in the dogs eyes and not washing it out. The vet had done a corneal stain and identified that both of my dogs eyes had significant amount of shampoo in them, which was causing the issue. I had my vet do a write up and took it to Good dog grooming shop to ask them for taking responsibility of the bill, thinking this would be resolved in a reasonable manner, but what happened next was something I did not expect. They started to give excuses, that it was somehow partly my fault and making up any excuse not to take responsibility and avoid liability. I'm more disappointed than anything, the vet bill was $180 and considering the amount of stress and damage they caused it was the minimal of what they should have done. If you want to have a strictly business relationship to save a few bucks, and to risk your dog then bring them here, but don't put any trust in these people because they don't care about customer relationship when a problem comes up. What's sad is that we are both native Chinese speakers and you (Good Dog) just making us look bad. Being petty about small money and gaslighting a long time customer really showed me how the owners are. I noticed another review the owner also had a issue with their dogs eyes, so it's not the first time it happened and their response is the same, make some excuse instead of apologising and owning up to their mistake. I hope this review will make others aware of what kind of shop owners we are dealing with, I hope they prove me wrong but as far as it is this is the worst experience I've ever had with a groomer. Also they make you sign a liability waiver so if something Bad happens to your dog it's not on them.

My fur baby was cut beautifully and smelled wonderful for over a week.I really love this place as they do not cage the dogs unless requested to.It is a drive for me but it is less expensive and just good environment for my puppy.

Bad service shaved the wrong parts of the dog last time and didn't call to confirm how we wanted it done!! And when we were willing to try again the owner is now making up lies that he can not take the dog anymore. Would not go here

My dogs have been going here for years and they have had no complaints and neither have I.They're reasonably priced, especially for two dogs and do a fabulous job. I can also tell the owners genuinely care for their furry clients and take pride in their expertise. They have some dogs of their own whom I watched grow up while taking my dogs in.I would definitely recommend my friends here.

I was surprised by this low rate...this must be something wrong. I have been to this place since 2011, with my first dog, they took great care of him. In 2012, we got our second poodle, and kept coming to the same place, they still did a great job! I haven't got any problem during 6 years, with 2 dogs. Their service is good, the grooming job is always awesome, and the most important thing is that, after 6 years, we already became friends, as I know, they are great people. I trust them.

I just moved to the area and was calling around to price grooming services for my 2 dogs. This was my 8th or 9th place I called. He was the first one to be extremely rude. I asked for the price and he asked what breed of dog do you have ? I said a American Bully and a Pit. His whole already rude demeanor switched and said extremely loud and rude no vicious breed no pit or bully. It’s a dang shame the bad name people have placed on these breeds. People should do their research first. Any dog can be vicious depending on the owner. Most people would be shocked to know in the early 1900s pit bulls were baby sitters for children. It’s so sad and to be honest I’m more scared of a chihuahua or poodle but yeah don’t recommend this place

My dogs have been going here since 2008. We were new to daycare and my boys have loved it. Priscilla is wonderful with the dogs and even called me one weekend to find out how one of my pups was doing when I had only brought one in one weekend b/c the other was sick. She does the best she can with the space she has and is very reasonable. I highly recommend her for daycare and boarding.

I've taken my large dog to many dog groomers (in different states as well) and it has always been the same price. However it much less here! Haircut was done exactly how I wanted (groomers usually leave the tail long even after telling them to cut it short). The amount of time it takes doesnt matter to me, but if it matters to you my dog was ready quickly (3 hours for a large dog). Best price I've come across and great service. Will continue here, thanks!

Best place ever!!! The owner and staffs are very friendly, they treat all their customers like families. My dog always get excited when we drop her off at this grooming，because she can play with owner’s dog that’s her bestie. Every times when I drop her off she looks like a homeless dog and when I pick her up she’s clean, fresh and super super cute like a little princess. Now day grooming is expensive, but good dog they charge reasonable price and everyone can afford. I have recommended to my family and friends they all happy with the service. Highly recommend this place, give a try you won’t be disappointed!!!!

It was the first time I took my dog and I really love the hair cut. The price is affordable. I am happy I found this grooming place.I am trying to reschedule an appointment but nobody answers the phone this would be the only down side. I’ll have to go in person probably to make a new appointment.

I have 2 shih tzus and I have high expectations for how I want my them groomed. Most importantly to me, my dogs are always cut very symmetrically and look smooth. They come out looking like stuffed animals. I am very satisfied with the services at Good Dog.

Took my multipoodle there about 2 years ago and won't come back! When I arrived home that day after picking her up I noticed my dog kept licking herself in her private area. She kept doing this for several days and then looked to see that they cut her hair too short in her private area, more so shaved it. I took her right away to her vet and they found an infection. Luckily, she was given antibiotics but anywho, would not recommend it there.

I like this place very much. First I went there because of the reviews on Google, which were not great but were Ok, while for the rest of the places in my neighborhood the reviews were terrible. I have moved since and still go to this place because they always do a good job (at a very good price) and my dog is not scared of going there. I previously used Petsmart and was always curious as to why my dog hated that place so much. I was curious until I discovered two huge cuts on her. Then I knew it was time to find a better place. Good Dog Grooming completely satisfies my needs and I personally would give them 5 stars. I went with 4 only not to confuse people who expect their dog to be released from a groomer covered in ribbons and bows. This is not a standard with Good Dog Grooming. However, I am sure if you specifically ask for that they will accommodate your request.

I’ve been going to good dog for about 2-3 years now but lately it seems they don’t even bother. I groom both of my dogs here, a Pom and an American Eskimo. Lately I’ve noticed my dogs come back with plenty of matted fur still behind their ears, and their entire coat basically hasn’t even been brushed. Instead they come home with even more matted fur Bc all the groomers do is bathe them air dry them. This is from only ONE of my dogs, I’ve brushed him myself and all this loose fur was still in his coat. I will not be returning here anymore.

I love this place, my dog loves the place! They are very caring dog caretakers. I've been taking my dog to them for almost 11 years and counting. You need a good groomer this is by far my favorite and cost sufficient place to bring your babies(dog).

I used to take my dog to Petsmart then Petco for grooming. However, each time I take her, both Petsmart and later Petco would increase their fee by $5-10 each time until it was almost $100 the last time I took her. It was ridiculous. It's not as if they were cutting her hair any better each time.Then I was referred to Good Dog who only charge me about 1/3 of what I was paying Petsmart and Petco and they groomed my dog just as well, if not better.I've also since boarded my dog there several times. Keep in mind though Good Dog is certainly no "5 star dog hotel" but unless you want to pay $500 a night, Good Dog's boarding services is well worth what they charge.The owner of Good Dog is very nice and friendly. I can't imagine her being the way some of the other reviewers have described. I can tell she genuinely loves dogs.

by all means it is not a fancy dog day care place. we have send our JRT to a fancy dog day care place once.... and we paid more than 300 for two days. the worker there keep on telling us how our JRT is "tired" because how much he played with the other dogs there. but honestly....our dog looked more drugged than tired. then we discovered this place. it is not fancy.... but my dog came home happy and groomed. she will send me pictures of him when we asked her.... (1st time dog owner....lol). it is a little far for us to use their service....but we rather drive the distance and don't have to worry about our dog while on vacations.

I simply called to ask about the services and prices seeing as how I was considering using them to groom my dog but as soon as the phone was answered I got a very rude reception. I began asking questions and the attitude just kept getting worse. I simply hung up the phone. The person was very rude so I will not be trusting this location with my location! I wish I could give zero stars because that’s how my experience was!

Hello everyone!I absolutely can't explain the anger and disappointment of this company I am in fact bothered and screaming at the top of my lungs. I took my dog here many times and for some reason my dog has came home 2 times already severely injured on his eyes the first time his left eye was completely shut we called them and they said "oh it was just the shampoo" then it was "maybe it's hair in his eye" you know in that particular time I thought maybe they're right so this time I took my dog and he came back with both of his eyes SHUT!!! It's been 4 days and he's hasn't gotten any better he still hasn't been able to open them correctly now I warned them many times of this matter and it has gone too far according to them it's "a shampoo that we use to make sure they don't have fleas" that is why I SPEND MY MONEY AND MY TIME to take my dog to the vet and buy him flea repellent this is ABSURD!! If this continues tomorrow I will be making sure they pay for expenses and if they decide not to, like they did last time I will be suing your company simple as that ,hopefully you see this paragraph because if you don't take action I will do everything as possible to make sure you pay the expenses my dog needs to cure his eyes

been caring for my dogs for years. price is beyond reasonable. staff is polite. no problems here. 5th star is missing because operating hours have changed and are alil less convenient. I was previously spoiled by the availability.
