Have used this business multiple times since 2020 however i have noticed a few red flags. 1. I feel very uncomfortable as a POC going into this establishment.Whether it’s the weird stares or the uncomfortable welcome they offer .2. When i have picked my dogs up from this place after the groom i noticed they were always scared.3. They have cut my dogs nose before (pics to prove)4. This was the final straw. I once arrived early to pick up my animals , waited outside for my dogs to be finished with the grooming. FOR SOME odd reason it made the owner uncomfortable and she closed the blinds on the window???????Also not to mention i tried to cancel appointments in the past when COVID first hit because i had COVID and the owner herself told me don’t worry you can still bring your dogs in.I felt that was very irresponsible especially since i personally have had family members succumb due to COVID.Overall these people are rude , unprofessional and force their political beliefs on others . Lady i just wanted my dogs groomed .I found it to be very weird and telling.Would not recommend.

Rude service!! I brought my Bichon frise, and the owner was showing me all the shows her sisters Bichon dogs have won. She also assumed I stole my dog, by asking me where did I acquire her? Unprofessional shop. Don’t even bother.

I have been going to Ginny's for over 7 yrs.. started with my Hershey and added Kisses to our family.. she a is Good Hearted Animal Person.. she love's animal and is always finding good homes to animals they have abandon she is an Animal Angel and has a patients with them .. Never has she been Rude to me or anyone that has been in my presents.her staff is very friendly and is willing to work with you.. We are happy to have found her..

My dogs have had a mobile in-home groomer for years. When our groomer moved away, I needed a new place and thought I would try Ginny's. I insisted that I stay with my two dogs because I have always been able to watch their grooming and reassure my dogs with my presence. I did not drop them and leave, so what I witnessed horrified me. Firstly, the manner that Ginny and staff addressed me was very rude and condescending. They seemed incredulous that I would make a request to watch the grooming. I tried to tell them that one of my pups was nervous around men. The male groomer insisted he would groom him, which only increased my pup's anxiety. The staff was not warm or loving to the pets. They did not reassure or calm my nervous pups, which they were because there were so many dogs in that place! The staff had various dogs around one big room in various states of grooming. One dog would be washed and towel dried and then left on a grooming table while the staff went to groom another dog. The poor dog was left ALONE with a tether around its NECK. If the dog leaps off the table, it chokes. Imagine your dog in that situation. They did this twice! I wanted my dogs shaved down. They did this so quickly and carelessly that both my dogs had nicks and were bleeding when we left. Ginny offers a cheap price and quick turnaround because your dog is on a fast assembly line. Accidents are bound to happen, and I for one value my dog's well-being. We did not return for a second groom, and I suggest that you find a groomer who will let you watch what happens to your pups. I booked with Heather's Mobile Grooming and have been happy with their service. They accommodate my requests and act as professionals. They also groom ONLY my dogs during my appointment.

Ginny's is the best. I've been taking my dogs there for years. She truly cares about the dogs and has always done an amazing job. My dog loves going to groomed and doesn't think of it as punishment, like she did when I took her to petsmart and other places. I also board my dog with Ginny so I have peace of mind knowing that she's well taken care of when I have to go out of town and can't take her with me.

1st time taking my dog to get groomed and it was a good experience!! My dog got car sick so when we arrived she gave me plenty of paper towels and spray to help clean it with. My dog look like a different dog when I picked him up! He smelled so good and I just love his haircut!! It doesn't smell like pets in the building and Ms Ginny and her staff are very friendly! We Will be back in 2 months Ms. Ginny

We absolutely love Ginny. Gigi wakes up every Thursday knowing it's bath day and her excitement is insurmountable. I haven't figured out if she just loved being clean or if she's just crazy about everyone at Ginny's. Either way she can't wait to get there

JUST AMAZING!!! Ginny is super sweet, friendly and clearly loved what she does. Her and her staff are just the nicest people not to mention they did an amazing job on this bichon! He looks amazing now all thanks to them!!! Thank you so so much!!

Since moving to Houston over 2 years ago, we were referred to Ginny's. We have 2 tea cup poodles and she has done a wonderful job each time we go. She takes care of the pets and spends time in getting to know our pets. We have also boarded our dogs there and have been very pleased with how that has gone.If you own dogs - especially poodles - Ginny's is the place to go. I have used other groomers in the past and have had horrible experiences with them.

My husband had used this groomer before and had set this second appointment. When I walked in , I was not greeted. The owner was shouting at staff and a young boy who was a customer translating for his dad. My dog, started trembling the moment we walked in . The owner never smiled, in fact, none of the staff did. She had no recollection of an appointment for me and started shuffling through a stack of hand written notes. I very hesitantly left my dog after she gave up on the pile of papers. I had to call to check if he was ready , they never called me. When I returned to pay, she told me they only take cash and directed me to the nearest gas station for an ATM. There was no ATM. After driving around in the seedy neighborhood trying to get cash, I was all too relieved to get my dog, and be done with such an awful experience.

We've been using Ginny's for several years and are very happy with her. She does a GREAT job on our dog, is priced fairly, and clearly loves the animals. She's the only person we'll let groom our dog.

Quick and Easy I take two dogs to Ginny's every 3-5 weeks for nail trimming. I don't make an appointment - they stop and quickly take care of this for 2 50-60 pound dogs. Good people.

I called Thursday afternoon and spoke with the owner Ginny to ask about nail trimming. She asked what breed of dog I had. I told her I have an Anita mix with German Shepard and a Mutsky (mix Siberian husky) to which she her response was they don't cater to big dogs. I informed her my fur babies were very gentle and loving. She asked me to bring them in. I took my babies in today for nail trimming/grinding. They were done in less than 8 mins. Great job by them!! We will be going back again.

I love Ginny's! Ginny is a nice lady who takes time and cares about the dogs. She doesn't overbook herself and she doesn't keep your dog in there all day. My dog used to be scared of the groomer, but I've never had any complaints from Ginny or noticed that my dog was scared or upset afterward. Go Ginny!

Very polite people I took in a stray with long nails n one of them was imbedded into her n they were able to take me in without apt to take care of her I am very grateful n so is Lola. I'm going back next week for her to get groomed. Can't wait.

Really I don't know who writes this reviews😡. They do a good job as far as the cut but they are rude, totally unprofessional my god I don't know who think they are professional starting for the way they manage the business and the customer relations and service. I have given this place more than 4 shots but every time they get worse so I'm not coming back and don't waste your time trying just because the price is good. I don't know how do they stay in business

I really only go for nail trimming but they do a great job. They are easy to get into and quick. Staff is also very friendly
