Took my dog to buy gifts for her first birthday and the woman that helped us was so kind! Loved the selection of toys they had so we got a few birthday gifts for our dog. We're from out of town but I'll be coming back anytime we visit! They also had cat toys and beds which was a nice surprise.

The store itself is cute with a unique selection but ordering from their website is an awful experience. Items always take longer to ship/arrive—and when I say longer, I don’t mean days, I mean weeks/months. Placed an order end of October, when I still hadn’t received it by the end of November (even though it said the item would ship in 1-2 weeks) I reached out to cancel and get a full refund. Customer service obliged. Here we are nearly another month later and I still haven’t received my refund. Amy from their customer service takes days to reply to an email and when she does she blames my bank for the delay? When I try to call the customer service phone number, no answer so I leave a message and have yet to receive a call back. I finally got so frustrated I called my bank and disputed the charge—they had no record of this merchant trying to refund me. Unless you’re at the store purchasing something you physically see, avoid. Avoid special orders or ordering online. Very disappointed, I loved shopping here when I lived in Houston. It’s just bad customer service.

We have been coming to Funny Fur for years. My German Shepherds love coming to this store! They have a great selection of natural pet foods and treats. The sales associates here are very helpful and knowledgeable. Our dogs always have a wonderful time here. The associates here are always so nice and give them a lot of treats. My dogs love the stuff we get from Funny Fur, their coats look great! This is the best pet store in River Oaks and one of the best pet stores inside the loop!

I absolutely love this store! Their customer service is outstanding, and it was further proven to me today. I usually swing by the store while my pups are getting groomed as I can more easily browse their selection of clothes, I casually pointed out a dress that my dog has to my gf and I guess the young lady working there heard and noticed which dress I was talking about, that a few minutes later she asked me if I had bought a hat along with the dress, I said yes, she walked towards the counter and explained to me that a few months back (3 months to be exact) I left an item there and they didn't know who it belonged to! I was beyond happy! I thought I had lost this item! I can't believe they kept my item all that time. I am truly grateful to her mentioning it to me. I will certainly be a customer for as long as they are there.

Ordered something from them that the manufacturer shipped. A part was missing (the power cable) and the folks at Funnyfur gave great customer service. The manufacturer took an unacceptable amount of time to ship the part and Funnyfur kept following up with them. When I finally got the power cord and plugged into the item, the item itself didn't work! Once again, Funnyfur responded in a timely manner and sent me a return label the same day. I really appreciate that and highly recommend them. I will also be ordering from them again (but not anything made by that manufacturer!)

Fun store. Great high-end, interesting dog (& cat) things.Their prices were really resonate considering. For example they had a $22 dog harness up to a $150 dog harness.The lady working was very nice and helpful.Will certainly go back.

I went in this establishment on November 8, 2017 at or around 10:45ish in the morning. I was greeted by a gentleman and it was like a late teen to early 20's. He was poor in his customer service skills.I was in the store for about 7 minutes and then I asked him if there was any other pet boutique stores in the area. He asked this young asian that was sitting on the floor. She responded to him, "Let him find it." That was when I told him that they lost a customer and that I was going to buy a Swarovski necklace for my dog. As I was existing the establishment I just told him not to worry about it.Very sad and disappointed that I went that way from the NW suburbs of the county. But you know what? I went to one of their competitors and I gave them the maker of the necklace and showed them a picture and they told me that they would get information on the item and see if they can get the item for me.Sorry Funny Fur but you lost me and maybe more for the quality service that they gave. So if anyone is reading this. Think twice about entering this establishment because there are nothing but young adult kids running that place. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!!

There seems to be a disconnect between the store and their return's department. I decided to order two costumes for a Halloween contest I entered my dogs in. I wanted to give my business to a local company and when I found out the store was located in Texas, I was more than willing to give them my business. I ordered an XL sweetheart sailor costume & XL sea captain costume. Both costumes ended up being too large for my dogs and the sea captain outfit had a small stain on it, which I decided to overlook and didn't think to bring it up when I asked for my RMA. I paid $18.00 to ship my return back to Funny FUR and in the meantime I looked on ebay to find the right size for the sweetheart sailor outfit because Funny Fur only carried a large.I spoke to Tonie (RMA dept) who was nice and willing to help, initially. She placed a small size sea captain outfit for me in exchange for the XL. For the past two weeks, we have been emailing back and forth, FUNNY FUR is blaming the stain on me and they want me to pay them AGAIN for the sea captain outfit. I called several times and they are not available to speak over the phone, they love sending emails. I am so frustrated with their rigid policies.If I caused the stain, I would say so. I feel like I am being held hostage to their policies. They basically want me to forfeit my credit, and as they state, store credit and buy the sea captain outfit again.I will never buy from a small store again....I paid $28 for the sea captain and $28 for the sweetheart sailor outfit, then paid $18 to return the items. I will not pay another $28 for an exchange.I am being penalized for supporting a local company...thank you

Bought a Sleepypod harness. It came defective with a broken buckle, and they refused to do any returns. Total waste of 90$. Am never going here again. Rocky & Maggie is 100x better! Go there instead!
