Definitely one of my favorite places to shop for saltwater supplies and coral - the displays are gorgeous and staff is always helpful. I bought a large tube anemone a couple of weeks ago that is the stunner in my tank and have gotten numerous beautiful, healthy rock nems from here. If you haven’t checked them out and you’re in the reefing hobby, be sure to stop by!

They have some nice stuff definitely a heavy focus on LPS not much Sps at all. It's definitely for reefers not a fish store. Coral I picked up is healthy and thriving in my reef.

Awesome experience, super helpful owner spent an exceptional amount of time digging a single pistol shrimp out of live rock so I could buy it. Best frag selection I have seen in the greater Houston area with reasonable pricing. I'll definitely be back to feed my addiction.

Not the best looking from the outside but the inside OMG. New to the hobby and the staff was truly amazing. You can tell they are passionate about marine life and love their job. I ordered my first tank from them and can't wait to get started. Although this place is an hour drive for me, it's definitely worth it.

Dennis was very helpful and showed us all around the store. He sat with us and pointed out every coral, which was amazing. He keeps all his live rock, and u can go through them yourself and pick out the ones you like, which was a first. The great thing about this place is you can really tell he knows his stuff, because his aquariums are immaculate and the fish are very comfortable and happy, swimming merely around. Everything we wanted he had in the store. Great place!

We went in looking for coral frags. This location does have a wide variety of coral, but boy were they proud of them. Everything we looked at we felt confident we could find elsewhere cheaper, and we did. The staff were not overly helpful and certainly weren't friendly. I doubt we will return to this store. We left without making a purchase.

Best selection I have seen in Houston. Really nice and helpful staff/owner as well. When they did not have some acros that I was looking for they helpfully gave me directions to a competitor who might have what I was looking for. Now that's customer service you rarely find these days. If your in the reef hobby You've definitely got to check out FJW.

Great Coral selection but don't forget to bring some Vaseline, the Price Rape is Real.. With Great Coral Comes Great Prices, no discounts. Its almost like he adds a 20% finders fee premium on his Corals. Great Store for the Wealthy. Rich Mans Hobby Store, if you on a budget don't even go there, you will leave with your feelings hurt.

Amazing store for reefing! While they carry many high end stuff they always have smaller pieces that let you build your reef that will grow while it develops. Was there today and had to make 2 purchases because after the first my wife HAD to have one more piece.

I love this place it gives me the feeling of being a kid in a candy store. Dennis is absolutely knowledgeable and will help you with advice on how to properly grow livestock. He's obviously in the buisness of maintaining a good strong customer base. I absolutely recommend FJW!

Quite small inside the store, not enough room to display all their merchandise. The tanks, fish, and corals are in perfect condition. Mainly oscellaris (clown fish) but of the higher priced variety like onyx and platinum. A few rare type oscellaris, the seahorse are pretty expensive. $100 each but they're a decent size. A huge variety of different frags, but are very pricey. I'm not paying $19 for a small micro piece of hard coral or soft coral. But the quality of the fish and corals are good. They had great information on what to use to grow coral correctly, but again, prices are incredibly high.

THE best store in Houston and surrounding areas for corals, bar none.Literally wall to wall corals for you to choose from. The tanks are always in excellent shape, super clean and the corals are vivid and healthy.Other aquarium stores have corals, but they're typically pretty dull and not well cared for.FJW also has a great selection of fish and inverts.Somehow, Dennis also found a way to house in the store a ridiculous stock of all kinds of equipment. Before I order something online, I usually check with FJW, and they have it in stock.Can't say enough good things about this place...If you like corals, fish or just aquariums in general, you need to visit FJW.

My favorite salt water fish and coral store in Houston. Great selection of corals with good prices. They have tons of equipment in stock, lots of radion LED lights and Neptune Apex equipment as well as a ton of other stuff. The staff is extremely helpful and always willing to answer questions.

This place is such a unique gem. I live nearby and came in out of curiosity, and the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I don't even have a tank yet, but I know where I will go when I take the plunge and buy one. This place seems to be THE place to go for anemone and coral.

I have been here twice and still have yet to step foot inside. Both times were during posted hours of operation. Open sign was on both times with a note on door stating will return in 30 minutes. Waited almost an hour both times and they never opened back up. Not worth the drive again not knowing if someone will be there.
