The hours clearly show 8 AM. It is now 9:10 and no one has opened the doors. There are people inside with no signs as to why they are closed.Not only I but another lady were so confused as to why doors were still locked at this time.

I went in the store and Fall the floor was wet…. The assistance manager guy had no Concern….. no wet floor sign or nothing…. I went back to speak with the store manager and the assistant want to Argue with me… I would love for someone to reach back out to me if not I will be seeking legal attention…. It’s not too Bash the store because it’s good employees there but your assistant manager’s trash…. He will be the rest y’all get sued

They've gotten better lately but recently they had 5 dumpsters and couldn't empty none of them. The outside of the store is always a mess trash everywhere

Tia was absolutely amazing! 🤩I had to get some things for my cousin's birthday and I got everything I needed for her. Tia was incredibly helpful with me getting all of my cousin's presents together! 🎁

The woman working there is rude as if she dint like her job. 1st of all it's not our fault the customers that you do not like your job find another job 2nd off the register should have money in it if not why does Family Dollar ask if we want money back If they don't have the money they shouldn't ask if we want money back. She was also rude to a non English-speaking person so I had to step in and tell him what she said cause she was being rude about it it. Moral of the story don't work if you don't want to work work somewhere where you're happy don't know body need that negative energy

I've always got good service at this location.. it's best for me because it is only a couple ofBlocks away. But the 2 guys that work there are so rude. I will not return. The girls are awesome!

All the girl cashiers are the best. They always give the best service with a smile. The cashier dude with the glasses now he something else.... Just gotta say management shouldbreally look into him.

The latest trip to Family Dollar, at the college location, was September 20th, 2017. Here is the up date: this branch is crucial to the area there are no buses the only means of transportation is for an individual to have a vehicle or access to a vehicle. There are many people in this area that do not own such a commodity, therefore it is crucial to have a branch store within walking distance there are a lot of apartment complexes and residential areas. the the next closest Branch store, besides this one, is on Edgebrook which is at least three-quarters of a mile if not a total mile, on foot trip. I just reached, 67 years of age on this day September 20th. I have no transportation. family is scattered all over Houston, nowhere near where I am, therefore, I must travel by foot or beg for a ride and I hate begging! (My dearly departed mother) taught us not too beg!I have commented before about the conditions of the store and its employees (I must mention one in particular his name is Trey, not sure of the spelling, he has the personality to handle a large crowd and people respond to him he is management material with a little instruction and there is some room for maturity his hygiene definitely needs Improvement because offensive odors 10 - 2 dissuade customer from taking someone anyone seriously other than that you would make a great manager I say this because I emigrate judge of character when it comes to people).As of the 20th I have seen improvements in the things that I commented on and they are greatly appreciate. Since I will be shopping there from now on at least once a week if not more. Why?! Because I find what I need at this location. the one on Edgebrook is much larger. However when I last visited which was in June or late May the store was in total chaos because it was littered with things all over the floor in the aisles the pricing was nowhere to be found Etc. I stupidly took a risk, almost died of heat exhaustion it was three digit heat index day. I was on foot. No cab fare, thank God I made it home unscaved I was praying like gangbusters. putting one foot in front of the other until I got to Dairy Queen, purchased a huge glass of iced tea and sat there until I totally cooled down and then I walked home which was another three more blocks. I thank you for keeping this location open for business, for myself and others that do not take the time to reach you!

I found what I needed but I understand why they're struggling in sales. There's junk and clutter everywhere. You can barely even think in there because it's so much mess. It's not just this Family Dollar it's literally ALL OF THEM!?!
