I visited this location today and I was disappointed with the service. I bought a relaxer for my hair and it was old with corrosion around one of the containers on the inside of the box. I wanted an even swap but i didn't have my receipt. The cashier and the manager didn't want to give me another one without the receipt. After questioning their decision, the managers said to me, I will do it this time only, but we don't usually exchange anything without a receipt and she had an attitude while talking to me. The cashier didn't even give me a receipt at the time of purchase. I had the relaxer still inside the Family Dollar bag . I need them to know customer service is everything!!!

I shopped this store because I work close by. It is a newly built store. I must admit it is a very nice, very spacious & clean store. It's not cluttered. The isles are not narrow. You don't have to turn to the side to get down the isle. Actually, it's like a nice Kroger or HEB store.Nice, friendly, courteous, & professional employees.Draw back, I didn't like the loitering of a man sitting in the front of the store. Major turn-off.

I literally hate this store. I’ve been here 4x since moving in the area in Jan 2019. The staff is NOT friendly or care to do their job. My 2nd visit, I got to the counter & greeted both employees who were behind the counter. Instead of responding they continued to hold their conversation which had nothing to do with work. So I spoke again a little louder still no response. So I made a comment to the customer behind me saying “Oh, they must be deaf deaf or rude rude.” Both employees decided to respond to that. 😒😒.This review is particularly about the photo that goes with this review. Two days ago (May 23, 2019) I purchased this gallon of milk from the store. I don’t buy 2% milk but it was the only option here. The next morning I fed 2/4 of my kids cereal for breakfast && they told me the milk was nasty. I assumed it was bc it was 2% that they didn’t like it && just let it go. This morning, I went to make my own bowl of cereal and realized WHY the milk was nasty to them. THE EXPIRATION DATE IS OF APRIL 22, 2019!! A WHOLE MONTH AGO!! I am aware of my mistake for not looking for the expiration date but how could a store with SEVERAL EMPLOYEES NOT BE AWARE OF THIS DESPICABLE OCCURRENCE?!? FOR 30 DAYS, NO ONE CHECKED OR STOCK THE FRIDGE DEPARTMENT TO CATCH THIS PROBLEM??This will be the VERY LAST VISIT I ever make here. There’s plenty of FD’s in this area with WAY BETTER SERVICE && SELECTION OF FRESH PRODUCTS!!!

They need to have more employees working at these places I go to these Dollar Generals , family Dollar there are no employees but two in the store they are prone for robberys because the people know there's no one watching them in the store there you wait in line for at least 20 to 25 minutes before you get waited on lines are the way through the store they have no help no security they need more of this in order to operate thank you no one to control social Distances..
