I wouldn't even give this location 1 star. After years of issues with this location. I thought they changed either the people there or they got a new manager. Everything looked nice and the people working there were also nice a few weeks ago. I go today for a group of cheerleaders that I have, which is over 15 kids. I was getting each one of them a set of press on nails. Although, there were boxes infront of them. I asked if someone could move atleast one row I didn't need all boxes moved and the lady told me no they are not selling any product behind those boxes so you mean to tell me you don't want to make any money for your buisness?? Those nails cost about $10 ea. Including taxes, and I was getting 15 of them. Who spends $150 at a dollar store? No one but I needed them. This location is ridiculous and needs to be shut down if you don't know how to provide customer service.

Extremely rude !!! We walk in with my two kids and an employee very rudely "excurse me cuse me cue meh cuse meh" pushing through my wife and i and our two kids. Like , why??? Soo rude and uncalled for. Not to mention the Homeless man hanging out inside up front of the store. Avoid at all cost. We walked right out. Not appropriate. Uncalled for. Not to mention extremely rude.

So far every time we go in here we get told they can't sell us what we're trying to get. Can't buy the new Mt. Dew or Coke because it won't scan. Can't buy a can of pumpkin because it won't scan. It says they can load money on a Cash App card but they can't because the system is perpetually down, and don't even bother trying to get a prepaid gift/debit card, for the same reason. A waste of the mile walk it took to get there. Not to mention the fact that if you are in a wheelchair then you cannot shop as they appear to unload the truck directly into the aisles, making it impossible for anyone with a mobility aid to get up and down every aisle.

Hours online state they close at 10 and hours on the door say they close at 9. I get here at 8:50 and they have the doors locked and employees walking around on phone and at register. Smh

The store is nice on the inside & the ppl that work there are nice but the parking lot is gross. It’s trash everywhere & pot holes. I went there the past 3 Saturdays at 8 am & they were not open. They said 8:30 when the sign outside clearly says 8am.

Getting mad at ppl cuz they don't wear mask but sometimes u have to lead by example the employees had mask on but on their chins not their face. I had mine on so I was good but come on employees don't talk to ppl any way you want if you not following instructions urself!!! Smdh

The only reason I'm giving this store a one star is because of certain employees and because is the only way I could write a review. This is a bad store it is always unorganized they are always short staff and I have to wait more than ten mins just to pay for a pair of disposable sandals. Today I walked In there again... because is conveniently on my way I just needed an Easter basket and was asked to go to Walmart just because I had my dog with me and "dogs are not permitted in the store " and I told him "why not he's a service dog he was able to come with me at Walmart"? "The employee" told me .. then go to Walmart ... I also did not see a no pets allowed sign... or is it just my dog not allowed @Family dollar?! I guess I'll be taking my self business and Dog to Walmart! So much for their promise of " Family Dollar is all about making life easier for you and your family"How if I now have to drive 45 mins just for some sandals because I was sent to Walmart !

They have no manners . They ringing up your items while being on the phone , leaving to go outside while nobody is inside . This prolly one of the most ghetto , / hood family dollar I’ve been too .

A little bit of everything. There seems to be one in every town . Small town goto to keep from traveling to the large big box stores . Groceries but no fruits or fresh vegetables and limited to the basics . Housewares , clothes , arts and crafts , frozen food , pots and pans .

Good people is so nice there so I love it very much very very very much great hospitality great cashiers great customer service they speak they very helpful so that's why I love this Family Dollar in the people in the store the cashiers the workers they need a good Ray so take that in consideration and give those people a race

As soon as 8a.m hits you should have your doors open. Girl gets here at 8:05 & they still keep the doors locked past 8:10. It's so irresponsible to the customers. You have a line outside already.

They've changed mgmt, the employees plus mgnt are so unprofessional they're there having they're own conversations while they have long lines of customers waiting to pay & leave, yelling at each other from one side of the store to the other & the whole time mgmt is standing there at the door being loud with them no professionalism at all in the store

Recently there has been a change in service, due to some new faces. Most are not serious about their work and in fact wanna pick and choose who can come to the store, mind you it has nothing to do with store business. This happens a lot.

This has been the worse store that I have ever visited. The employees are so unprofessional and the merchandise is always in the isles, boxed for stocking. I have seen the employees argue with customers and customers leave without purchasing items they intended to buy.

i would like to say i am an employee who works there . This location closes at 9pm and do not think your getting in after 9pm just because google says so . Family dollar on maxey road has nothing to do with google .

How do you close two locations in the area at 9pm!?!? When your closing time is set to 10pm. One said AC was broken but it's not the first time and the other they were just done for the day.

I don't carry a purse I carry a backpack with all of my medicine my money and all of my documents that I need and I coming to this Family Dollar and was basically humiliated because they didn't want me walking around with my backpack in my basket I will never come to this ghetto ratchet Family Dollar again they need to shut it down because this is the first time I have problems here I hate that I even came over here

Small Retail Store where you can buy inexpensive items and snacks. Usually in and out within 10 minutes since the store is well stocked.
