I go in here all the time and they have a great atmosphere. Yesterday, I went in and loaded a card with $500, and I did not check my receipt because they have never messed up, and I've never had a problem. (stupid me) Soon as I got home and was coloring my hair, I was placing an order with my card, and it was declined insufficient funds. I freaked out and looked at my receipt. Sure enough, she only loaded $200, so I rinse my hair quickly and jumped in my car because they were about to close. All I could think was they were just going to lie and say they don't have it or I only loaded $200. Well, there are still honest people out there. They locked up the store and counted the till she was only over $240, but she counted it again and had my money. Thank God she remembered me, and she was honest. I wish I had gotten her name, but I didn't. I will, though, cause she definitely needs some kinda props for being an honest person. I enjoy going to this location even though they don't have as much as other store and that are supposedly in a bad area because the staff is friendly and funny some of them dance around and enjoy the time the time they are there. But it was a mistake that could have been very bad. It turned out to be a blessing.

i went into the store this morning . looking for Nair to shave and of course they didn’t have it but while i was looking for it the store associates were making it very obvious that they were following me around the store . mind you i came in there with my key in hand and a tiny purse that was ALWAYS in front of me . the store itself is ok . but the people working there need to distinguish people who are actually coming in there to buy something and people are just in there to steal. i hate being racially profiled and being followed around the store . that makes people uncomfortable. not everyone that comes in the store is trying to rob you . especially when i work hard as hell.

I was told by Family Dollar Cashier to put my bag up front in order to shop in the store...they did not put it behind the desk they left it out on the counter and someone took my bag from another store. $70 worth of merchandise was stolen from me all because they wanted to stop their store from being robbed. So as innocent as I am I trusted them to watch my stuff since that is the stores policy. There are cameras and all they said was "aww that's messed up" they took my name and number in case somebody might have grab my bag by mistake. But no one said they gonna tell the manager or anything else. I did not ask them to watch my bag they made me put my bag there. So they should be responsible for my stuff being stolen.This is not the first time my daughter said it happened to her too just so happen the customer came back with her bag.

Every time I come like around 3 pm it’s closed I don’t know why but the time is on the window they have to closed at that time at 9pm and if I go to the store is because I need something the gas prices are to high to just go and see that is closed

I went to Family Dollar at 8:30 and they close at 9pm they were already closed and when i asked the tall fat black male that was supposed to be security had a very very nasty attitude i explained to him that it's not 9pm he said so and that he told me twice that they are closed on a Friday at 9 so yes i then cursed him out and walked off due to him being rude.
