This family dollar was one of the messiest and dirtiest I've ever been in. There was trash scattered on the front sidewalk all along in front of the doors. Inside there were empty boxes and full boxes everywhere, blocking aisles. Not a positive experience.

Imagine being the owner of this location and loosing out on business because your lazy employees won’t let people use the restroom so they don’t have to upkeep it. Trash!

As side from the mentioned consumption of trash and debris surrounding this location, prior to current store upgrades, this evening witnessed a deceased animal. Whom has began to collect flies and other forms of feeding creatures, in the parking lot within close proximity to parking and store entrance. Vultures may ensue. Have and display greater care to animals if not already. Even those whom have passed on. Call the necessary individuals to collect and dispose of God's Creation accordingly, if haven't already processed and dispatched.

Will not honor incorrect pricing due to their negligence.I was wanting to take advantage of great pricing for an item so I told the cashier to charge me two of the same item. The price on display was incorrect. I said I didn't want to purchase them. They took it off my bill only for me to discover that it was still on my receipt after I had paid for it - without me receiving any item for it.I had to go back and get a refund. It's Independence Day, it's 97 F outside, and checkout lines were long and busy - who would want to deal with such inconvenience on a major holiday?This was a complete waste of my time and theirs. They should have just honored the pricing on display and that wouldn't have caused so much time wasted, backed up lines, use of manpower and an unsatisfied customer. I didn't even hear an apology even though the entire situation was their fault.It wasn't so much that the item's price wasn't honored; it's much more so that it's hot, my day off, and I have to deal with incompetence and carelessness.

The outside needs to be clean and look more attractive. Just because it an inexpensive place to shop doesn't mean the area has to look unattractive and unwelcoming. Near the store in the parking lot the donation shed box should be REMOVED because random things are being dumped there that does not align with the purpose of it. There are mattresses sometimes furniture is dumped there as well.. it a HUGE eye sore and makes the community looked run down,its unacceptable. Trash is everywhere, again its an eye sore!The cashiers are friendly but overall the appearance needs attention immediately.

Buying light bulbs at good price. Tissue at good price. Listen y'all. When pandemic first started every store had a long line. Family dollar had everything! They never ran out. Big 18 wheelers were always on their lot unloading for our community! They did not jack up prices then either. I know! They always had cleaning solvents like clorox-disinfectants-fabulosa-gloves-hand sanitizers. All of it! They have been faithful. Always in a neighborhood if people don't have a car y'all! I love it!

The only reason why I gave them two stars is because the ladies that were at the register were nice. Otherwise this place is filthy and there are items everywhere ! I can not believe that this place is so run down! This is one of the worst family dollars I have ever been to I more than likely won't be back ! Come on I know it is not in the most best of areas but we need to learn to take care of what we have !!! Come on family Dollar do better ...

I would say they were rude, and refused to answer the phone… but after having met them, I'm pretty sure they just aren't smart enough to figure it out. Go anywhere else!

Today is 07/4/2018 I visited the store this morning to return an item I recently bought at another family dollar (I HAD MY RECIEPT) the cashier began to do the return the manager comes with an attitude looks at my reciept and with an attitude said I cant return it there go back to the other store....so I ask did they have other games instead of answering my question he repeated that he want refund me for the game (I said ok) already he walks off....now I shop there all the time cause its the closes one to me cashiers are great (but management need to do a lot better period) I attended to buy soap,washing powder,razors and another game but after that attitude no buying for me loser!

I normally enjoy my visit but today made not want to come back to this store. I bought 26 dollars worth of items. I wanted to participate in the Reeses peanut butter challenge so i was going to purchase 2. So i got them from a small display at the end of the chip isle. The display only had Reese peanut cups but it did have little pictures of little candys also it had a large picture of Reeses on the top the prices were 2 for 1.70 so i assume that was the price. Upon trying to pay the cashier calls the manager an he goes back an say it was on the wrong display an it cost 2 for 2.79. But they way he said it like i was trying to get over. The cashier looked funny an said but they 95 each. So i said i would show him where i got them we go back where he had got the price 2 for 2.79 an there was not one Reeses on the display it had all Skittles different flavors. So i show the display with Reese picture on it on nothing but Reese peanut cup on it an he tells me he not honoring the price because a customer must have put those like 30 packs of Reeses there. Im like so theres some customer thats filling displays in family dollar. Wow. So he continues to talk condisending to me so ask who was the management he said he was and told him i did not appreciate the way he talked to me an i would not be back to his store. I did not get his name but he was a short Hispanic man working today 6/7/17. 11:14:12 store 11487.

West Orem location has their "markdowns" scattered around the store in each section with sections inconsistent with one another when determining where within each section, the markdowns are to be located. This causes the shopper to have to hunt each section for markdown items. It would be much easier to have a single aisle designated for ALL markdown items from ALL sections and placing them there. I also think you would sell your markdowns more rapidly since this merchandise would be centralized and customers more than likely would buy more than just the one item they were looking for @ a reduced price but find other products that they might have a use for later and since they see a limited number at a lower price at that very moment with no guarantee that product will be available (at THAT price) in the future, and will more than likely "impulse buy" so they are "stocked up" IF (not when) that need for the product arises.

This store is nasty as hell! The refrigerators are leaky and full of mildew. The drounds are always unkept with overflowing trashcans. Very unorganized.
