WARNING…. This review is a bit gross.Fast, easy, kind staff, pretty cool they have so many birds!!So… now the gross but helpful partI had adopted two puppies from a nice neighbor who couldn’t really take care of them. So they got worms and more …..Elsys feed store gave them their first shots and the dead worms starting coming out within the next day and you could see a BIG difference in their behaviors, appetite, energy… everything really!Poor babies were not feeling well!But thanks to this place these puppies have a higher chance of living than not getting the medicines they needed! They also give you the package on what they gave to your pet!

The animals they sell here are abused and not taken care of. The puppies get stuck in a bird cage and have to walk on wire flooring. They also had flies laying eggs in their open wounds. The birds usually have poop in their water, and by the build up around the inside of the cups, you can tell they're not washed out regularly.Yeah this place is Convenient. But, don't support people who are only in it for the money and have no care for the animals they commit to sell responsibly.

❌❌❌DO NOT RECOMMEND❌❌❌ Our six year old daughter went to sleep crying tonight because her cat is dead due to negligence from this people.Please if you love and care for your pets don’t take them here. We took our cat Coco, who’s been in our family for six years, here because we were looking for something affordable after all the rain and flood here in Houston. I called before hand to make sure they could see Coco. I explained his symptoms and remarked that he was a cat and was scared the lady said the vet could see him. Getting there the guy ask me to explain the symptoms. He didn’t carefully remove Coco from carrier and just let him escape to a nearby tree after hrs and hrs of trying to get coco off the tree ( he wouldn’t get off because the guy would not removed his dogs) kicked us out of his property. Next day we found Coco dead in a nearby property. We have learned from their neighbors and people who’s taken their pets here that this is not the first time this happens. Both dogs and cats have escape under their care. ❌❌❌❌

They debeak their chickens. Mislead me into thinking it was normal and that the hen I brought home would be a good fit for our existing chickens... It wasn't, she was covered in parasites, and her and all her flocks beaks look horrific. She was so frightened and fearful all she does is harm herself. I am returning this poor girl because I cannot see her keep suffering

It has lots of chickens but theres like 30 in a tiny cage covored in there own poop with bald spots i bought one chick there and she couldnt feel more gross and has feathers missing here and there

They offer basic vet services. Have a great stock of Victor dog food which is awesome cause we're having trouble finding it in our area. The owner was very nice and talkative about her birds. Beautiful birds and the store was well organized.

Love this place. They are close to my house. Nice employees and the man who put the shot on my dog was soo helpful.I just had $10 in my wallet and the shot was just $7.50+ The shot was for infección (penesyln).Affordable,helpful,quick and treat you with respect.This was my second time coming,I will be coming whenever I need help for my pet(dog).THANKYOU ELSY'S SHOP 🙂💛👍.They also have dog things you may need for your pet. There is kittens, puppys, birds if looking for a companion.

If you need a friendly knowledgeable and fun place to go for your animals this is the place to go. Mr Francisco his wife Elsy and their son Frank are always very helpful with any questions I may have. I love taking my girls there because they enjoy the animals especially their bull dog 😋 I am in law enforcement and I can honestly say this is a place that they really care about animals. I love this place.

I’ve been coming here for my dogs food, yet now they want to charge $2 if I use my credit card? My purchase is over $35 and you still want to charge me extra? I’ll take my business to another feed store from now on. Lesson learned. You just lost a loyal customer. ✌🏼

Friendly and very polite service. I called before to make sure they give puppys dewormer , and parvo shot. It was inexpensive and I plan to refer all my peeps to this store. I usually also shop at Walmart for my parakeet food but I discovered Elsy's has a similiar kind but with more nutrients sold by the lb. My go to spot now for my birds and my dog Chente 💙

My dad referred me here & I must say this place is great!!... I took my 3 puppies who I believe were infected with the parvo disease early stages & they were able to help my little ones survive. I will continue to go to Elsy's store for all of my animals!! Definitely recommend... great customer service as well !!

They have medications for dogs and cats. Good food for the animals. They have heart worm injections for dogs. During the winter months we buy hay to line our dogs house's. They have a helper's to load your car or truck if you need help.8-10-22Just learned that the owner of Elsey's bird and feed passed away a few weeks back. We called her Mrs Elsey. Her husband and children are keeping things going. Her sweet personality will be greatly missed by anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting her. They are still in business.12-18-22Just bought our second bale of hay to help our dogs outside cope with the freezing temps that are on the way. They were very busy today.
