The South/Northwest Houston Echo Park staff is friendly, helpful and prepared. The area is nice and clean to purchase a car. But, I wasn't lucky when I purchased my 2015 Kia Soul bought on July, 15,2023.Three weeks after purchase, an engine light came on (Echo Park offers you 1 month or 1000 miles warranty). I returned to Echo Park and they told me it was a battery issue, and replaced it.Nearly two weeks later after the battery issue, the engine light started to turn back and switched on/off for week periods until December.Since the warranty period had expired, I just ignored it.In early January I decided to sell the car and bought an OBDII scanner which showed a P0420 (faulty catalyst converter). It's an expensive replacement part and if not fixed you may not pass the smog test and lose few thousands selling the car.I was cordially invited by North Echo Park to verify this issue, but couldn't do much about it, because wasn't under warranty anymore and the first issue was caused by battery, not catalyst converter.Well, I understand that issues may happen, especially with old or used cars, but I never for 25 years cars had experienced car issues so fast and in sequence.Probably I was unlucky, because I think Echo Park is a great car dealer (My brother bought a car at Echo Park too).Sorry for all this big text, but if you are planning a car, whatever with a dealer or marketplace I recommend to buy an OBDII scanner and check before purchasing a car, for no further doubts.

Had an amazing experience at Echo Park SW. I knew exactly what I wanted and didn't want the stress of haggling. Gill was my salesperson and he did an excellent job. He thoroughly went over the after purchase products and I was able to choose what I needed with no pressure to take what I didn't need. I highly recommend EchoPark if you don't want to haggle and you are interested in their extended warranties.

***UPDATE***After careful consideration. I'm downgrading my review. Everything was great up till the point I purchased my truck and drove off. Since then the service has been horrible. For some reason they left a filthy cabin filter in the truck on their 190 point inspection. Gil did let me know about this and said they ordered a new one to arrive on Saturday but it never came in as of Monday. I did reach out to Gil a few times on Saturday to see if I should bring my truck over to get the filter installed but he did not respond. Finally on Monday afternoon he text me the filter did not come in so it's a good thing I didn't drive over there Saturday. I ended up buying my own filter and installed it on February 26th. That day I also called customer loyalty to ask about getting reimbursed and I got a call back from Melissa, the service manager. She asked me to text her a picture of my receipt and she would get a check sent (still not received as of March 8th) out to me and she also apologized for not being checked and fixed before I drove off.Since then I've made multiple phone calls (3/1 & 3/3) to the customer loyalty department over the fact that my truck didn't come with the proper front license plate OEM bracket and instead they zip tied something to the bumper in it's place. As of March 8th I still haven't heard from customer loyalty. Gill Bridges has not answered my phone call and I also reached out to Melissa the service manager via text who has not responded either. I really am very surprised that nobody has reached out to me. After such a great initial experience. I'm very disappointed.Just walked out after buying a pre-owned, low mileage truck from Gil Bridges. Price was what they said it would be. There was a $700 interior and exterior protection package that I didn't want, but he was able to lower my interest rate to offset this so it all worked out. Overall, I had a great experience and Gil was extremely competent and helpful in explaining all the paperwork I had to sign. I would definitely recommend buying your next vehicle here and if you do, ask for Gil.

I worked with Von Moore on the purchase of my Honda Accord. Von was helpful, respectful, prompt and thorough. The process of actually purchasing the vehicle went smoothly and quickly. I appreciated the clear price policy and lack of haggling. I definitely recommend working with Von. And for the most part, I recommend purchasing through Echo Park, the Southwest Houston location. Only issue I have is on my drive home from the dealership. I got a low tire pressure light which was somewhat alarming. I did go to a Local tire shop near my house. As it turns out the two front tires were significantly under pressure and the two rear tires significantly over pressure. Frankly this does make me question the 190 point inspection. Nonetheless, I would shop here again and recommend Von as a competent sales person.

We had a very good experience purchasing a used car from EchoPark. Initially, we went in for a test drive to make sure the car was what we wanted. We did not intend to buy on the first night and were not pressured to buy the car immediately. I was able to put a 48-hour hold on the car two nights later for $500 prepayment of the purchase price. I was also able to select optional insurance and extended warranty options online. This information was sent to the location with the car and the paperwork could be prepared very quickly. The only issue we had with the purchase was the $500 hold submitted online did not easily appear on the final closing paperwork and required a manager review and approval to have the $500 contribute towards the purchase price. This was quickly resolved and the final sales price was corrected. We received the key and temporary plate within 10 minutes of signing the closing paperwork, which was all completed on a tablet computer. I would recommend EchoPark as a direct comparison with CarMax due to the no-haggle pricing and quick closing.

The southwest freeway branch rocks. Staff is very polite and attentive. The two particular encounters I had were Maria and Dominic, both are nice person. Maria is very straightforward, cuts it right to the chase. I appreciate her attitude on respecting customers’ time very much. Dominic is kinda fella who is always there to advice on any query related to cars, insurance, maintenance. He is glad to share his own experience and direct a customer towards most cost efficient decision. He ensured I got my dodge hassle free, did all the required paperwork in a blink of an eye. So far so good, the car runs perfectly. Btw coffee and hot chocolate from the coffee machine is lit there.

I came in to just look at a car and Vehbi helped me out, taking me on a test drive and telling me things I asked about, not hiding anything. The car ended up being what I wanted it to be and was happy with the condition, maintenance, and the professionalism with everyone that helped me out here. The process of getting the prices did not take long, and they helped me out in getting a deal more suited for me. Their prices are also pretty incredible!! If you are looking for a car at a good rate and low cost compared to the market, this is the place to come!
