This store didn't take my returns for chocolates that I bought at another Dollar Tree location before Easter and when I was able to go to the location I bought them from after the holiday ended I was only able to get half of the money back.This location was also closed multiple times even though it clearly said online that it was open so ruined my plans and costed me even more money and time to return the chocolates back.Also, the other location's manager told me that any store can take returns so this is quite disappointing that bad return policies, which aren't posted anywhere online or on the receipt, plus the lies told by this location's manager about them not being able to take returns when they are able to has dissuaded me and anyone I know from coming to this store.

If I could give this dollar tree no stars I would! Is notThe first time they put signs like this. The closest dollar tree in Spring Branch. The worsseeeeee! So inconvenient!

An old woman in front of me had her card and money on the belt while she was digging in her purse. The belt shifted forward and her card and money went through the crack. The day manager refused to loosen one screw on the plate so she could get her money and card out. He said someone else lost a $20 bill in there earlier today too, and just like them, she was out of luck because he would not open it to retrieve her money or card. Luckily, the cashier pried the plate up enough that she could at least get her card back out. The manager then complained to me and other customers that the woman acted like she knew how he was supposed to do his job. Very poor treatment of customers and very unprofessional attitude.The shelves are often poorly stocked too, but I was willing to look past that until today. I will no longer shop at this location, and will drive the extra 10 minutes to a different dollar tree in the future.

I just got done shopping here. I normally have a good experience but the young man checking me out looked like he was having a bad day. I told him I wasn’t going to get some items I had and when I went to hand them to him he snatched them out my hand and threw them to the side. I asked how he was doing and he just responded with “im here”. I understand Bad days happen but be mad at home not at me. He was so rude and I did nothing to him

I love dollar tree but I hate this location. This location on Hammerly in Gessner. They always close for. I don’t know what reason I really don’t care, but they do it often.

Im very as this store is like this. There was 1 guy checking out with no help. Inflating balloons charging and answering phones. I think this store could use a good manager .

NO AIR CONDITIONER AT ALL, it is literally the hottest month of the year and it’s cooler outside then it is in this store, the poor cashier had a fan blasted on her and was still drenched in sweat, they are lucky it’s not my child working there, if this problem isn’t fixed asap I will be contacting corporate nobody should have to shop or work in these type of conditions

I bought what I needed but there was only one cash register open so it took a very long time to check out. When I got in line there was at least 8-10 of us in line.Also the restroom was broken and overflowing. Very dirty.

Dollar tree is currently closed shut down out of business I'm sure because of the damb devils den heat they had going on no AC was definitely the issue kind of sucks was my store I got my dogs treats at the cats toys out snacks I give 3 stars for the effort but no one should go through that hot hell of a store just as bad as family dollar on long point with the awful thieving employees there mainly managers like Gloria flirting with vendors them pretending to be throwing out trash an be stealing or getting high smh

The worst dollar tree in the city. The people working there, though they are nice, they can not keep up. Such an absolute mess. Wtiting this review because almost every food item I picked up was expired. If you're a dollar tree fan, skip this store.

Store is located near a Kroger . Usually messy, has a public bathroom that they supposedly lost the key to. Which means neither customers or workers have access to bathrooms. Pretty sure that is a city code violation.

Arrived at 8:55 pm to pick up items for homeless packs to be handed out Sunday. They seem close an hour early regularly. Not sure why. Employees are in the store but they just lock the door.*** Update *** They now seem to be telling some people they can come in but only have 5 minutes… even though the store is supposed to be open until 10:00 PM. Don’t understand this store.

Literally the girl behind the cashier "Mary Jane" or whatever her name is. Told people behind us to come infront of us because they "had less stuff than us" without even asking us if it was ok or nothing, we were waiting in that line for almost 10 minutes and they have been there for less than 5 like what the hell.

Employees have at least gotten nicer over time. However this location is always beyond filthy, even for a Dollar Tree. It's difficult to find anything because they are always waaaay under stocked on everything. There's always boxes of stuff to put out blocking isles, but never anything on the shelves. Seems like they need a new manager or something to make things run smoother and keep the store clean and stocked.

Like most dollar stores, it looked like a picked-through mess. Luckily I got a few of the things I needed for work (Toys for Tots, Secret Santa) and a candy treat. I have no idea why every dollar store I go to always looks like a post-apocalyptic consumer wasteland! It's every dollar place, too. King Dollar, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, etc. always look like a herd of enraged toddlers went rodeo bull-riding up and down every aisle! I'm just glad there was enough staff on hand to *try* and keep up with the customers! Yikes. I was almost afraid I got there too late in the season. Yes, I've been here during other seasons and non-holidays and it always looks like an insane consumerist hell-scape. Thankful they had what I needed at the time.

This store has really changed New people and store is much cleaner. Shout out to Julian who works there always greets you when entering and very helpful and courteous My husband and I enjoy going there Now there's been a great contribution to this store. Better Employees. This is at Hammerly@Gessner in Houston. And it more pleasurable as it gets cleaner .🤗😀
