I recommend this place for your fur baby's grooming needs. A bit pricey..especially for a xl dog. But the overall convenience of not needing an appointment is a plus.

This place, by far, is one of the worst dog grooming businesses in East Houston. The level of incompetence displayed by Arturo is mind-boggling. The place was recommended, took dog, requested that dog keep his ears & tail fur, with a teddy bear face. After dropping him off at 10am, by 4pm- still no call. A call was placed to check on status, they said he would be ready in 10mins.Upon arriving there to get him, he was skinned beyond recognition. Not only did they cut his tail, but they also cut his ears! When asked why didn’t they call to see if it were ok, they stated he was matter & did what was best for the dog & “it’s only hair & it will grow back.” Unprofessional & unethical! My dog, now will not eat & only mopes & shivers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! (The pics show his before & after)

I was very pleased with the results after I got my Inperial Shih Tzu groomed and styled haircut. Recommend Chaneke’s Dogs Grooming to family and friends if you need a good groomer for your babies ( Dogs).

Really nice and they treat the dogs with lots of love and care! My dog, Loki, came back to me full of energy and looking good! They really care about the animals and gave me updates the whole way! Would definitely recommend to a friend/family!

This groomer is the best kept secret in Houston. The employees really work hard at exceeding the expectations of their clients. I drive 45 minutes one way to have my fur baby groomed here.

Not really a grooming place. Our yorkie came back looking like a street dog after a supposed hair cut. Looks like a 4 yr old grabbed a pair of scissors and went to work on him. This is not the first time.

My Schnoodle is old, blind and has health issues. They did such a good job on him and he was so calm and happy when I picked him up. These folk are great with dogs.

I have brought my fur bby about four times prior. This place was highly recommended. Once before he got nipped and was bleeding still after they put what appeared to be some glue and I was ok because they told me as I picked him up. That was not the case today…. The person that was at work he register was the same that took him back earlier. Well he distracted me by telling me that he was a pretty pup but that he was very nervous when he was cutting his nails and yes he is but nvr did he mention he was hurt in the eye. I think he got clipped with clippers. I’m still waiting for a call back to see what happened. I’m upset not because it happened but because they didn’t say anything. Did they think I would not notice? Disappointed very disappointed!

I trusted them with my dog's grooming when they used to be near my home on Sheldon Road, but their new location seems alright. Normally they do a good job, my husband asked for a summer cut as we always do in the summer, body short and just trim ears and tail. So all of shih tzu’s came back with everything shaved! They didn’t even apologize, they basically called my husband and 2 daughters a liar and said that’s what we asked for. We have come for years and never asked for that! So upset, disgusted & disappointed.

We have used Arturo for many many years. He’s absolutely fabulous. He groomed our first standard poodle from a young dog until he passed this spring. He continues to groom our other 2 standards and our toy poodle. I highly recommend him. Great works ALWAYS and so good to our fur babies.

I love this place. Everytime I bring my toy poodles in they ALWAYS come out looking FABULOUS. What I like about Chaneke's is that they don't keep your fur baby at the groomers being groomed all day long, AND you do not have to set an appointment in with them. I just bring my fur babies early and pick up time is no later than 3pm. I love it.. My fur babies are SIMPLY GORGEOUS. I must add the staff is very pleasant and nice.
