Decent sized store. Needs a bigger selection. Came from a small navy base and we had twice as much. Prices are good. Asked about the price match guarantee and got a weird look before the answer, Like they were unsure. Also crowded floor space making it hazardous. Could have a better layout for display.

You need a military id to get into the base and purchase at AAFES Class Six liquor store. Great place to go for most alcohol, wine and beer lower price/cost and no sales tax. I had sudden company coming over on a Sunday for a football game. While most other liquor stores are closed: Sunday I got plenty of beer, wine, liquor, mixes and snacks to serve company at the last minute drop in at Class 6. Good experience clerks help you get what you need , answer questions and make sure you have a successful party/gathering.

I recently stopped by this store to pick up some beer. I was very impressed with the selection of products they had available. They had a wide variety of beers and wines, from domestic to imported brands. I also appreciated that they had a good selection of snacks and mixers.The staff at the store was also very friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer my questions about the products and make recommendations. I especially appreciated the fact that they were able to help me find a good deal on the beer I was looking for.Overall, I had a great experience at the AAFES Class Six. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for a good selection of beer, wine, and snacks.I would definitely shop at this store again.

My first time here. The layout of the establishment was clean, neatly organized & easy to find everything. The assistant or/ store manager Tenisha was very helpful & knowledgeable w/ a great attitude for customer service. I'd recommend shoppping here.

3 Sept 2023Winning after inquiring and entering a recent Heinecken Ice cream tricycle Cart display raffle, I was called to pick up the umbrella that sat on top of the Ice Cream Cart. The Heinecken Vendor took the Ice Cream Cart back. A Bit more clarity goes a long way. Thanks for the umbrella. Now just waiting to buy a stand so I can use it.

Great place for my favorite wines. However, they don't t have the German wines or other brands of sangria. They said changes are coming and the 1924 wine is discontinued.

We purchased beer and liquor for our daughters wedding at this Class Six. Store was always clean and orderly, staff was friendly. However Mrs. Yvette was an absolutely ROCK STAR. We had no clue what to purchase or how much and Mrs Yvette was patient to answer all our questions (trust me there were A LOT). My husband and I visited the store almost every weekend and she made time for us. She provided us with the customer service we were used to from back in the day! The Class Six will always be our first stop when we need Spirits.

For those that can shop at AAFES Class Six (the military liquor store), prices are very reasonable, and their liquor and wine and beer selection has enough variety for just about anyone, but if you don't drink, then check out this crazy t-shirt at the Class Six.

Amazing assortment of dark liquors like whiskey and rum, a decent wine assortment, but the beer department is sublime, including a walk-in cooler that would thrill the average Cooter Brown. The prices were comparable to discount stores. Customer service needs work. I saw only one employee, the cashier, a grouchy mumbler who neither smiled nor made eye contact. The store was not busy, but I suspect the burden of added customers would not improve her attitude. A good manager would switch her to stocking shelves and hire someone with a better people skills. If she was the manager, I'd either fire her or offer her intensive training on customer service.

I live over an hour away and don't visit Ft. Sam much. Always have to go to the Class VI when I get the opportunity. The liquor prices are awesome and selection is very good. You won't find the higher-end whisky's here but that's OK. They still have the good stuff at about half the price of Spec's or Total Wine & Spirits, etc. And no tax!

A wide selection of hard liquor. Beyond that, specific items like sherry have a lower cost, single mediocre item. Wine selection tends to lower price items. Can't rely on continuing to carry an item or brand.

Over the past few months, their selection has improved. Their prices are generally better, but Specs is often a better bargain if it's closer to you. I'm starting to find some higher end scotches, whiskeys, and Bourbons but often find they don't always have what I'm looking for. At the end of the day, it's still an AAFES establishment.

This is one of the very few true commercial benefits Soldiers still have...cheaper alcohol. Use it while you can folks...commissary and PX have already fallen...they may be tax free, but cost has risen to the point that it still costs as much as on the economy, unless you live on post.

This place is always busy during the holidays. Items were well stocked, store clean, and organize. However, they need more employees during the busy season and alot more space. The aisles were crowded with not only people but also with the inventory. Very tight squeeze in and around certain areas. AAFES seems to make things work. Employees were quick to help.

We always go here for our spirit needs. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, which is rare for a class six. You usually can't get any help in an AAFES, anywhere around the world. But this one, they are super great, you can always find someone to help, if need be.

They have a much bigger selection than Lackland's and Randolph's stores do. Lackland's Class VI is a joke. I can usually find cheaper prices on some items off base even though it's tax free there... 😡
