Being new to Taxes and a woodworker I needed to find a place that I could get supplies at. Soon as I walked in the door smile broke out over my face shortly after was greeted by Jamey very knowledgeable about the products prices and a pleasure to deal with.. super nice guy. I could spend hours admiring their work and craftsmanship and the selection of wood that I needed for my Cutting boards and butcher blocks was outstanding really glad I found this spot. Definitely a diamond in the rough 👍🏽

I had been searching for just the perfect mantel for our new build. I found exactly what I wanted at The Forest Store. The price was better than what I found locally for much smaller mantels and it was packaged perfectly to make the trek from TX to IL without any damage and shipping was fast and efficient. Beautiful, gorgeous, amazing wood products. Visited to try and locate a slab fireplace mantle with a live edge, and found so many wonderful pieces to choose from, that we had a hard time deciding which we loved the most. I went to the Forest Store today to get some supplies. I’ve been there several times just looking and learning a lot about epoxy tables and mantels. I’ve been in construction and a home builderIn Denton county for 50 years until I was forced to retire because of medical problems. Jamie has been such a joy to talk to about wood working. He is so knowledgeable to be such a young man. I’ve honestly learned a lot from him. Every time I visit the store I could just stay and talk about wood. Jamie has always been very courteous. I told him about my wife’s fight with cancer this past year. I’ve been amazed how when I come into the store the first thing he says, after he asks what I’m looking for, is “how is my wife doing?” I really believe he truly wants to know. That means a lot to me.Every chance I get I tell my friends how great this store is. Everything I’ve seen in the store just screams quality and shows that real craftsmanship is important. Bought what I thought was western red cedar but really wasn't. Don't know the price difference from the local cedar. But after waiting an hour to lunch and they didn't have the oak that I was seeking. I bought the cedar as to not waste an hour and half to drive there was a waste. Not the same western cedar I have growing on my property!
